"Go right ahead Sophia. I made sure the library would be open to all of us. I will just wait here for Kai."

Michael pulled out his flute and played some songs on it to pass the time.

 

"no, it not that it just i haven't got to do anything by myself yet; i hope you don't mind." she smiled a small smile.

 

Michael went out to the castle balcony. The view of the sunset was nice. He began to play a tune that seemed to echo all ovet the city. As he played, the light from the sun shined in his glasses. He had no idea why he kept them on, since he only needed them for reading.

 

"Okay." he said, understanding. "See you later." he said, hugging and kissing her.

 

Michael thought about Kai and sighed. Anyone looking at him now could tell he was in love.

 

"thanks." sophia said and hugged him back.

 

"Don't get lost." he said, smiling.

 

Michael unsheathed his sword and thought about what he read in the scroll.

"Since i don't know any way to excise a demon possessing a human, I will have to stick with sealing it."

He practiced the movements for a sealing ritual.

 

"bye," she said to cliff and ran to the library, she serched most of the columns for a scroll after looking at the scrolls she didn't find what she was looking for, she glanced to the corner and the was two miss placed scrolls; she went and picked it up and looked in them "winglys antiquitas..." she read out loud she smiled then looked at the other scroll "abs bicornis-adoptio." she smiled and walked out; the when to her room and started reading the scrolls.

He watched her go and felt lonely. He walked around for a bit.

 

The king approached Michael, sword at the ready.

Michael laughed, "So are you wanting to test your skills, my young apprentice?" He asked.

"Hey, I'm older than when you last saw me."

"True, but I'm still orlder than you. Now let's see you put those skills to the test."

The two sparred on the balcony.

"Fool!" Michael shouted. "You are supposed to put more power behind that attack. Now try it again."

They continued with the test.

"Good, you have been keeping practice. But you forgot the most basic rule." Michael knocked the sword from the Ottmar's hand and pointed his sword at the king's throat. "Never let your guard down when face to face with your opponent."

Michael sheathed his sword. "Vae Victas." He said. "That concludes today's lesson. Just keep up your training, and you will do fine."

Ottmar picked up his sword and sheathed it. He bowed to michael and returned to the throne room.

Michael went back to gazing at the sunset.

 

Sophia came running out of her room and straight into Cliff "sorry, i have just read the abs bicornis-adoptio and it said that...

"i-i don't know, the bottom of it has been ripped off and latin isn't very easy to read." sophia sighed " and i haven't got time to read to read the winglys antiquitas"

 

"That's too bad." he said. "But you made a great discovery!" he hugged her.

 

"yes but i haven't got all the information" she looks at the sunset "what time is the ball?" she asked.

 

"Soon I think." he said.
