"But what?" he asked, wondering what was more important than helping his kind.

 

"we don't know when or where the bloodshed will be." Sophia said.

 

"I'm sure we can figure it out. Apparently you have some sort of connection with Kresten. That could prove to be useful!"

 

"hum... and it could be bad as well." Sophia answered.

 

"How could it be bad?" he asked.

 

"sooner or later he will find out about the link and be able to find our postion, then he could send creatures after us." Sophia said.

 

"Don't worry I shall protect you."

 

Sophia nodded, "do you want to go now?" she asked.

 

"We will go onece you have had enough time to regain your energy."

 

"tomorrow then?" she asked.

 

"Sounds like a plan!" he said. He kissed her on the lips.

 

Sophia kissed him back and laided down.

 

He lay down next to her and closed his eyes.

 

Sophia closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep.

 

Cliff soon joined her in dreamland.

 

Sophia dreamed of her half dead family, if only i could of safe you from that fate.

 

Cliff dreamed of the battle to come.

 

Well.....I guess they don't need me......

Well.....for now just practice how to be a ghost.

 

Sophia's dream turned into a nightmare as she saw flames, sreams and a crimson red city, the sky was dark with a silver full moon. there were shouts of men, children calling for their mothers, screams of women and the last sound which reached her ears was the laughter of Kretsen. Sophia woke up with a start.

 

He woke up and saw Sophia sitting up. "What's wrong?" he asked.
