"She can't hear you, Cliff. Looks like she is in a coma."

 

"Yeah..... I know you're mad, but not now."

 

"Easier for me to kill her." he said, overwhelmed with rage.

 

For now the moon-child's going to appear to everyone...til further notice.

Oh no you don't! If you want to blame someone for Sophia then blame me! She did zip! Okay?! So back off and sit down!

 

"I'll kill you then!"

 

"Hold it. Right now, no one is going to kill anyone. I'm going to go find Zephyr."

Michael ran off.

 

I'm not alive dork! You can't!

Moon-child! Stop it. You're not helping. Cliff....Sophia's free.....okay? Angel freed her.

 

"Cliff, calm down!"

 

"I'm still going to kill you for taking her. Now where is she!?"

 

Michael ran into Zephyr as she ran out of the inn.

"There you are! What have you been doing?!"

"Less talking, more running!"

The innkeeper came out, holding an axe in his hand.

"Good thing you caught that little thief..."

"Thief? You didn't...."

Zephyr had a guilty look on her face.

"How much does she owe you?"

"50 gold..." Michael handed the man the gold.

"Thanks, but why are you paying her tab? She related to you?"

"In a way....."

The innkeeper walked back inside.

"Thanks for bailing me out, Michael!"

Michael picked her up by her robe.

"I'll deal with your punishment later, right now we have more important matters to tend to."

 

"Zephyr!" Kai shouted.

 

"ANSWER ME!!!!" he yelled, reaching out to grab her.

 

"Put me down already, Michael!"

Michael dropped Zephyr.

"Take a look at her and see what's wrong."

"Ok, just give me a minute....besides, Cliff is going to have to let her go first before I can do any examination."

 

Kai held Angel still. "You look troubled, Zephyr...."

 

"Not until the moon-child tells me where Sophia is!" he said.

 

"It's like another soul has entered hers and is trying to shatter it...."

"So, what do we do?"

"Enter the spectral realm and draw the rouge soul out, what else?"

Zephyr pointed a finger at Cliff and turned him into a statue.

"Well, somebody had to shut him up!"

 

"Michael and I will go," Kai said.

 

......why can't you just go into her mind and see what's up?

 

"Because the problem lies at the very core of her soul, that's why! Why does everyone try to second-guess a god?"
