OOC: I just realized that we've gone over 3,000 posts! Is this RP running on energizer batteries?

 

"We're fine." he said. "What happened?"

 

"We found a lab in the basemenet, and Michael discovered something......." Kai turned away.

 

"I'm a prince, soon to be a king..."

 

"No! Do you want to rule over this?!" Kai turned to Michael. "You're not a prince anymore!" She ran from the group.

 

"Kai, wait!" Michael ran after her.

 

Kai ran into the forest and flew into the sky. 'Sorry, Michael..... But.............'

 

"No...." Michael fell to his knees and cried. He slammed his fist into the ground.

"Damn it all....I never wanted this, and now my true love thinks that I am some kind of monster...."

Michael called forth his sword.

"I guess I was meant to be a lone wolf after all...."

He started to raise the sword to his throat.

"Michael, what are you doing?!"

 

Kai sat by herself. 'Michael.........' She looked up, and stared at the ring. She spread her wings and flew back to Michael.

 

Michael almost cut his throat. At the last second, he threw his sword away in anger.

"Damn, I don't even have the guts to go through with this...."

The sword dissapeared and Michael continued to cry.

 

Poor Michael. I feel sorry for him.

"I'm sure she'll be back."

 

Kai landed in front of Michael and Cliff. "Michael......"

 

Michael wiped the tears from his face.

"Why did you run away?"

 

"When you said, 'prince', I thought we would never see each other...... " Kai fell to her knees. "You said, you were glad you weren't the prince. And....." She couldn't continue, and started to cry.

 

"I'll leave you two alone." he said.

 

"I can't deny what is in my blood....but I can decide where my kingdom will be. Besides, We made plans to get married, remember? I would never leave you."

 

"Yeah......" Kai wiped her eyes, and looked at Michael.

 

Cliff walked away.

 

"Who am I kidding?" Michael threw his father's ring into the forest. "I never wanted to be a king."

 

Kai turned to the ring on her finger. "Michael, what about your mother's........"
