Kai touched Michael's shoulder. "Don't worry."

 

"Cliff, where are the others?" Kotone asked.

 

"I don't know. We split up, remember?"

 

"The others are on the upper floors. I wonder if they are ok...."

 

Hey! Jade Dragon...what's going on?

 

"Michael found some machinery used for some sick project his father started to revive dead keldon. He destroyed it and is heading to the upper floors. You had best get out of here, because he is not in a good mood and I don't know what he is going to do if he finds Angel...

 

Kai followed Michael. 'Michael......'

 

"What is it?"

 

"Nothing. I was worried how would happened to you. I mean, now you know the truth. You may never be yourself again." Kai turned from Michael and started to cry.

 

Yeah....about that....you see.....Angel fell....and...she hasn't responded....at all.....

 

"Oh, well good luck with that."


Michael put his hand on Kai's shoulder.

"No matter what happens, I will always be me. Nothing can change that."

 

Kai looked at Michael. She smiled, wrapped her arms around him.

"Yeah........"

 

"Now let's hurry and find the others."

 

Kai nodded and ran upstairs.

 

They continued to run through the palace. When they entered the next room, they saw Angel lying there, unconsious.

Michael drew the rune of healing on her forehead and healed her injuries.

"Why did you heal her?"

"Couldn't just leave her to die, now could I?"

"Merciful to a fault...."

"Now come on, we have to find the others."

 

Kai nodded, and stood up.

 

After more running, Kai and Michael eventually ran into Cliff and Kotone.

"Everyone okay?"

 

Kai looked around. 'Wow...........'

 

"What is it?"

 

"Good thing, your father left this place. It fell terribly." Kai turned to Michael. "You're happy about that, right?"
