Cliff woke up and went to the kitchen. He saw Angel and grew furious. He grabbed her by the throat and yelled "WHERE IS SOPHIA!?!?!?"

 

Kai sat by herself, wondering about she saw in the forest. A wolf, the wind god...... 'I wonder why Michael freed a god?'

 

Michael pulled Cliff off of Angel.

"Calm down, Cliff! I know you want Sophia back, but killing Angel is not going to help matters!"

 

"Let me go! She knows where Sophia is!!" There was hatred in his eyes.

 

Kai walked into the kitchen, and grabbed Cliff. "He's right, Cliff. If the same thing happened to me, and Michael was worried about me, he wouldn't get it out on Angel."

 

He ignored Kai and yelled. "BRING HER BACK!! BRING SOPHIA BACK TO ME!!!"

 

Wha?.....oh...Sophia.....right.....I could've sworn she already made it back to town......god.....why does everyone want to kill me all of a sudden?......and......I don't think I ever told you my name.....weird......oh...yeah...and..I washed all the dishes for you....so....do I get payed sir?

 

Kai walked up to Angel. "Tell us, what happened to Sophia? My boyfriend and I sensed your energy. What is your connection to the Black Monster?"

 

Whoa!....the two of you are boyfriend and girlfriend?......wait a minute.....why am I so surprised?......whatever.....and as to your question...beats me....know anything about it moon-child?

A translucent image of the moon-child appears next to her.

 

"Cliff's not listening..."

"Then put him to sleep."

"Zephyr?! Why are you in my mind?"

"I got tired of waiting for you. Now hurry up and make him go to sleep."

Michael cast the rune of sleep on Cliff. Within seconds, Cliff drifted off to sleep.

"That ought to give him a chance to cool off."

 

"The moon-child......." Kai thought and shook her head. "I don't know anything on the moon-child......."

 

She looks at the now slumbering Cliff.

Was that necessary?

*shrug* Works for me.

Whatever.

 

"He was starting to give me a headache. Why are you here, though?"

 

Oh...yeah....about that....well......Sophia was my responsibility......and....she got lost......so....I guided her back here......but.....well....i just wanted to help you guys.....secretly......sorry......

 

"And what's does it have to do with the moon-child?" Kai asked.

 

"If you really want to help us, then fight alongside us, not against us."

 

Kai nodded. "Please, Angel? You could help us against the wingly."

 

Well...you don't have to mind her. She's my pal now and.....whoever said I was fighting against you?.......you were always fighting against me.....and.....right now....I'm going to have to refuse your offer of alliance.

 

"Then I suggest you leave here."

 

I was just going to....geez...no need to blow a fuse.....agh...my head hurts.......

She walks out and looks to her left on the street and begins to take off running to the right because a whole party of guards is chasing her.
