Kai sat on a chair, staring up at the sky.

"Star gazing?"

"Not that you should care?"

Kai sighed.

 

Michael left the library and wandered his mind.

"Lost, are we?"

"No, I just don't know what every door leads to, except the knowledge library."

"Try some of the other doors, then."

"Some other time."

Michael left his mind.

 

Kai sighed, and left her mind.

 

Michael woke up, feeling well rested. The sun nearly blinded him as he sat up.

 

Kai woke up, and stretched her arms. She stared out the window.

 

"Morning." Michael said as he looked for his glasses.

"Now where did I put those things?"

 

"Morning." Kai picked his glasses from a deck. "Here."

 

"Thanks." He said while he put his glasses on.

Michael gave Kai a quick kiss.

"Are you hungry?"

 

"Yeah!" Kai smiled.

 

"Let's go downstairs then."

 

"Yeah." Kai walked downstairs.

 

They sat at a table and ate breakfast.

Michael stood up. "I'll be back in a few minutes. I have to go take care of something."

Michael left the inn and headed to the hot spring.

 

"Okay." Kai continued to eat.

 

Michael left the hot spring after a while.

"Much better. Now to free the western wind god."

Michael walked out into the forest, opened the books and laid them down on the ground. He then pricked his finger and let a drop of blood drip down on to each of the books. There was a sudden change of wind, and suddenly there was a white wolf standing before him.

 

Kai walked into the forest and saw Michael. "Michael!" Then she saw the wolf. "What is that?"

 

"I am Zephyr, god of the Western Wind, young one. Your friend has released me from my imprisonment within the forbidden tomes."

"Yes, and I believe you must lend me your power now, Zephyr."

"Indeed, I shall journey with you and assist you in your quest."

"I am honored, Zephyr."

"I will wait for you here in the forest until you are ready to leave."

"Thank you." Michael said as he picked up the books. "Let's head back into town, Kai."

"Yeah." Kai said. "You freed a god?"

 

Cliff dreamed about Sophia.

 

Whoa.....that was close.....well....better get started with these dishes....

The next morning.....all the dishes have been washed so cleanly that you could use it as a mirror. Angel was found asleep sitting against the bottom of the sink. Then the guards decided to search the inn and threatenned the innkeeper.

You're hiding the Black Monster and trying to bring the destruction of this settlement!

What? No I'm not!

Yes, you are! A citizen said that you recently hired a mysterious stranger yesterday.

That's true...but that doesn't mean she's the Black Monster. I mean, come on...this place is hidden so well no human can find it.

Forget it...come on men...we have to search the entire building.

They found Angel in the kitchen and pinned her to the floor....and also gave her a rude awakening.

Whoa.....what?....What's going on? Who are you people?

Silence Black Monster! We won't let you turn this town into the next Villgust. My sister was in that village....

Oh........not this again......

 

"I'll tell you about it later. Right now, I need a drink."

They walked into the inn.

"What's all the comotion about, barkeep?"

The barkeeper ignored Michael.

"Forget it, just get me a drink."

The barkeep continued to ignore Michael.

"Fine, I'll get it myself."

He walked into the kitchen to brew some tea and saw some guards, weapons pointed at someone.

"What's going on back here?"

"We have cornered the Black Monster here."

Michael looked at Angel.

"Are you people stupid?" Michael said. "Does she look like a monster to you?"
