"Yeah..... But what made you ask me in the first place?"

 

"I don't know to be honest.....I just want to be with you."

 

Kai smiled. "Ya know, people will wonder why a twenty-one year old marries a fourteen year old. But I don't care. As long as we are together."

 

"You are fourteen in human years. In keldon years you are about twenty-seven."

 

"What? How old are you in keldon years?"

 

"Thirty-three."

 

"Keldon are younger in their humans years, and older in their keldon years, right?"

 

"Right."

"I never knew that...."

"You never asked."

 

"I get it now! I have the appearance of a fourteen year old in my human years, and you have the appearance of a twenty-one year old in your human year. But in our keldon years, I'm twenty-seven and you're third-three." Kai smiled.

 

"You got it."

 

"I never felt so happy before....." Kai wiped a tear that appeared in her eye.

 

"Don't start crying now. Save it for the wedding."

 

"Yeah." Kai hugged Michael.

 

"This is just touching."

Michael just ignored the dragon.

"In all my life, I never thought I would be getting married. It feels kind of strange..."

 

"Me either. But it also feels kinda good....."

 

"Yeah....."

 

Kai took a deep breath and started to sing, to express her happiness.

 

Michael thought about playing along with his flute, but he saw a piano in the corner and decided to play it for a while.

"Haven't played one of these in years...."

"Why not?"

"I can't carry a piano in my pocket, stupid!"

"But you don't have pockets...."

 

Kai decided to sit next to Michael as she sang.

 

"You are a pretty good piano player, even though you are a little out of practice."

"Is that a compliment? Or are you trying to mock me?"

"No, I mean it, you're good."

"Thanks."
