Kai left her mind and saw Cliff deep in thought. She decided not to disturb him.

Sophia looks at Angel "why?" she asks slowly.

 

Yes. Where are you and Sophia? Cliff is a mess, he's been crying alot. He really misses her.

 

Kai walked out and summoned her sword. She started to practice. After a hour of practice, Kai entered the inn. "Hey, Michael....."

 

OOC: Ok, I'm back now.

BIC: "What is it, Kai?"

 

"Before we came here, what did you want to ask me?"

 

"It was nothing important, don't worry about it....."

 

"Okay....." Kai sat down, and drank her juice.

 

Michael stood up.

"I'll be back in a couple of minutes."

Michael left the inn.

 

"Alright." Kai continued to drink.

 

Michael walked to the spring in the center of town. He noticed a strange glint at the bottom, so he dived in. When he came back up, he was holding a diamond ring in his hand.

"Now why is there a ring at the bottom of this spring?"

"Your guess is as good as mine."

"I wasn't talking to you."

Michael sat down and started playing his flute.

 

Kai walked out of the inn, and heard Michael's flute. Smiling, she started to sing. She remembered what Cliff said.

 

"So, when are you going to ask her?"

"As I said before, that's none of your business."

"You're just scared."

"Oh, I am not..."

 

Kai walked up to Michael. "Cliff said Sophia, you, and me could make a great band. Sophia plays the piccolo, you play the flute, and I sing."

 

Michael laughed.

"I guess that would make Cliff our manager."

 

"Yeah....." Kai laughed, then turned her attention to the ring on her finger. She smiled slightly.

 

Michael sighed.

"I have something real important to ask you, and I want you to be honest with me. Do you remember, back in Snowborne, when you said you wanted to be with me forever? Did you really mean it?"

 

"Yes. I did mean it. I promised myself, if I find someone I really care about, I want to be him forever! And you're the one I found. I mean, I just....." She started to cry and turned from Michael.

 

Michael blushed.

"This may not be the right time to ask, but...."

"Come on already! Just say it."
