She quickly walks out of the house and opens another portal back to earth.

This is getting easier and faster...the first 2 times it took a lot of energy and some time.....

After walking some distance, they reached the keldon settlement of Lyton.

The gate guard started to ready his weapon, but lowered it and knelt after seeing Michael.

Michael just stared at him quizically.

"Thank the gods! The destined one finally arrived!" the guard shouted.

"Ok, you lost me..." Michael said

 

"'Destined one'?" Kai wondered. "What the heck is that about?"

 

"Don't ask me! I've got no clue what this crazy man is talking about!"

The gates opened and Michael practically was dragged to the elder's house.

"Let me go, get your hands off of me!" Michael shouted

 

"I have no idea." he said, following him inside the gates.

 

"Michael!" Kai sighed. "C'mon Cliff. Let's find the inn."

 

"Alright." he said, following her.

 

They found the inn, and Kai paid for the stay. She walked back outside and sat on a bench. She closed her eyes and started to sing.

 

He sat down next to her and pulled out Sophia's piccolo. He started playing fairly well.

 

Michael entered the elder's house.

"Ok, someone has a lot of explaining to do!"

"I am truly sorry about the strange welcome, young one. It looks like my guard made a mistake..."

The elder pulled out a scroll.

"You see, he mistook you for the destined child, the one who would restore our race to its former glory."

Michael looked at the scroll. On it was a picture of a winged keldon that slightly resembled himself, but bore silver wings instead of black.

"Looks like the man was color-blind..."

 

Kai stared at the sky as she sang. She didn't even notice the people around them staring at them.

 

"Ok, guess I'll go rejoin my companions now..."

"Wait, take this with you..." The elder handed Michael a book. On the cover were the words 'Tome of Zigstrahl'.

"The third forbidden book....."

Michael silently left the elder's house and headed for the inn.

 

"Michael!" Kai stood up and ran to him. "So, what happened?"

 

Cliff kept playing.

 

"Case of mistaken identity. Man, am I hungry!"

Michael walked into the inn. He poked his head out of the door a few seconds later.

"Are you coming in or what?

 

Kai smiled and shouting. "Coming!" She ran into the inn and smiled at Michael.

 

OOC: Got to gow now. I won't be on tomorrow, I have to finish moving into my new apartment, so someone else can control my character tomorrow. Just don't make him look stupid or get him killed. I'll be back on saturday!

He stopped playing and put it away. "Wait for me!" he said, running in.
