The Legend of Dragoon

"I can't think of any now," Kai said. "Sorry."

 

"That's ok, but I would like to hear you sing sometime. I guess I will go back to the inn for now to wait for Cliff."

 

"Okay, I'll meet ya there," Kai said. Then she started to hum a song she heard when she was young.

 

Michael sat at the bar, with an ale in hand. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a drunk hassling one of the waitresses.

He approached the man.

"What seems to be the problem?"

"Mind yer own business, boy. This ain't got nothin' to do with you." The drunk spat at Michael

"It is when you are hassling people for no reason."

"I said back off elf-boy!" He said as he pushed Michael.

"What did you call me?" Michael said in an angry tone.

"You're just asking for trouble elf-boy." The drunk said as he reached for his sword.

But he never had a chance to draw, as Michael decked the drunk with a well-placed punch.

"No one calls me an Elf." Michael said as he threw the drunk out.

"Don't ever let me catch you around here again, or I will cause you so much pain, you will never be able to show your face in the light again!." Michael said while watching the drunk run away.

Everyone watched Michael as he walked back to the bar and sat back down to drink his ale.

 

Kai entered the inn and saw a piano in the corner, just looking at it made her think of when her father played the piano and she listened. A song she remembered started to play in her mind.

"There's a song that inside of my soul," she started to sing. "It's the one I've tried to write over and over again. I'm awake in the infinite cold. But you sing to me over and over again...."

I must have dropped it somewhere!

*runs off to where he fought and killed that dragon*

Sure go ahead, be a Wingly, I give you permission to be a villain.

 

Sophia walks into the inn and sees Michael at the bar she walks up to him and said "i'm ready but i'm not sure about cliff, i haven't seen him since this morning." she sits next to him and listens to Kai sing, she is good Sophia thought.

 

OOC:The reason I wanted to be a wingly was that the only dragoon left was female.......

Powers:Minor teleportation, Flight, Green orb energy blasts, and ability to control sword telepathically

 

"We waited long enough for Cliff. If we are going to go, we must leave now.
He can catch up with us later. I will wait for you outside the gates."

 

"So I lay my head back down and I lift my hands and pray, to be only yours, I pray to be only yours. I know now you're only hope...." Kai walked over to Micheal and Sophia and sat down.

 

"Hey Kai, that was a nice song. Are you ready to go?"

 

"Thanks. Yeah, I'm all ready. I didn't know I had such a good voice."

 

"Good. If you have any business to take care of before we leave town, take care of it now. I will wait outside the town gates if you need me to."

 

"Okay. See ya at the gates." Kai went to her room and grabbed her things. She put the violet dragoon spirit around as a necklace. Then she ran outside and met Micheal at the gate.

 

"Ok, now that you are here, we will head north toward the mountains where the Devine Dragoon resided. If you get tired or hungry, let me know, and we will stop."

And so the group headed north, into the forest.

 

"Okay, get it!" Kai said. She started to walk but looked at the village. "Bye Father...." she whipsered before running off with Micheal.

 

"Be careful, this forest can be dangerous at night. Stay on guard, so we don't get ambushed. We will travel for a while, then stop and make camp."

As Michael said this, he pulled out his mace, ready to fend off attacks from monsters.

 

"Okay," Kai said. As she said that, she pulled her sword, keeping herself on guard.
