While they were talking Angel has been in a tree observing them and listening intently. She could hear things very well.

Hmmm.....well then....it's a shame then that you stole the Divine Dragon from him....not that I care anyway.....but I suggest you guard it well so he doesn't get it back.

Sophia looked at cliff then turned and ran.

 

"Wait!" he yelled, chasing after her. "Don't go!"

 

Ooh.....that's got to hurt.......keep observing the boy for a little bit longer then go after the girl and watch her. If she catches you which I'm sure she won't but if she does......kidnap her. And if necessary....kill her.

Sophia ran faster towards the forest, "just leave me alone." she whispered.

 

"Please, stop and talk to me!" he called.

 

Sophia took off and flew intp the forest, dogding trees and feeling the wind.
Sophia are you all right?

"Is something wrong?"

 

"Nothing. I just feel like....." Before she could continue, Kai fell, thinking she saw feathers surround her.

 

He stopped at the edge of the forest, knowing he couldn't catch up to her. He started crying.

 

Sophia landed in the middle of the forest and pulled out her sword, Sophia walked up to the nearest tree and slashed at it.

Angel quickly jumped down and had Sophia unconcious before she saw anything.

I'm tired of running from them. If they want to kill me then they can try.

He sat down and searched for her through the ground.

 

........just ......stow her away to some place until I want to question her....or....just...to stow her away.......and...keep her away........or...just to use her as a something to torture Cliff's mind about....besides losing the Divine Dragon.

She lifts her onto her shoulder and is gone like ghost.

Yeah.....I never thought about what to do with a hostage......there's nothing you guys have that I would want........but I have two things that you guys want......oh well.....heh heh heh.....let the mind torture begin......

Michael picked Kai up and laid her on his bed. She had fallen unconsious.

"What's happening to her?"

"If I had to guess, something is torturing her, either mentally, or spiritually. You'll have to fix it."

"Just what do you expect me to do?! I'm a warrior, not a psychoanalyst!"

"But you can cross into the spectral realm and enter her mind that way, so get to it!
