The Legend of Dragoon

The two sat down and had a drink. Then a drunk walked and started bothering the couple.

In a slurred voice he said, "Now what's a pretty lady like you doing with a freak like that?"

Michael clenched his fist. "Go away."

"Shut up you winged elf, I wasn't talking to you."

"Nobody calls me an elf." Michael punched the man and sent him halfway across the room.

 

"Thanks, Michael." Kai kissed him.

 

"He would have left anyway, but he insulted me. You see, calling a keldon, even a half-breed, an elf is the human equivilent of a human calling another a *******."

 

"I guess you might had had a bad childhood, then?"

 

"Sort of, my father and I spent most of our time on the road, going where the wind took us. We would stop at towns to restock our supplies. People would try to bully me, because of the fact that I am a half-breed. The only towns I was really welcome in were Villgust and this village, Snowborne."

 

"When I was younger, I think I remember a keldon came to my village. He was kind, like you. The others didn't like him, so he stayed with me and my father. One night, he heard me singing and said he liked it." Kai closed her eyes and sang the song she had sung to the keldon years ago.

 

"Strange, that song sounds so familiar, like I have heard it before....."

 

"I always sung that song when I felt lonely, and it reminds that I'm not alone. I just can't remember where I learned it, though. Where did you hear it before?"

 

"I can't really remember. I just remember a little redhead girl singing it to me....."

 

*Jeraxan stands up*
"Sorry to be leaving you like this, but I have business to take care of......."
*Jeraxan teleports out*

"It's weird, when I first looked at you, you felt familiar. Like I met you before. The keldon told me he was traveling, to find a place to live. I suggested my village, but he told me no."

 

OOC: Besides messing with the dragoons, I have no idea.

BIC: "You looked familiar to me too when I first saw you.
I think I might have been to your village before!"

 

"Then you might be the one said you liked my singing! I think after you left, my father told me we might meet again. Here we are, years later. It's been soo long, I almost forgot about it......" Kai hugged Michael.

 

"Must have been fate for us to meet again."

 

"Yeah. Must be." Kai smiled.

 

"I wonder where the others are....I figured thay would be here by now."

 

"Maybe.... You're still the same kind keldon I met years ago, Michael. But you have changed a bit."

 

"Really, how so?"

 

"Well, you told me you're traveling, or simply returning to where you were accepted. I wasn't sure what you meant, and you didn't have your black wings yet. But I still remember your kindness when I asked you to stay with me and my father."

 

"To be honest, I am the first of my kind to have wings since the Demonium War."
