The Legend of Dragon 2

Dante sighed and smiled. "Right, lets go..... I'll wait for you."

He vanished, and reappeared in Kai's mind. Kai was struggling against what looked like a demonic verison of herself.

"Dante..... what are you doing here? Where's Michael?"

"He's coming."

 

Michael appeared next to Dante and called out his sword. He rushed at the demon.

"Leave her, vile beast!" He shouted as he attacked.

 

The demon disappeared and reappeared behind Kai.

"Hello, young Nightroad," it said in a demonic voice.

It grabbed Kai by the arm. "Five years I've waited to meet you."

"Let go of me!" she shouted as she kicked it. But it disappeared again. She turned to Michael. "Michael, I'm glad you're here to help my demon."

 

"To meet me? What are you talking about?" Michael asked, keeping his guard up.

 

"That thing is a part of me," Kai said. "It told me, 'I want to meet the son of Lord Nightroad, before I get you.'"

"That's right," it said, reappearing, attacking Kai. Kai summoned her father's sword and blocked the attack.

"You want to get rid of Michael, so I'll never get married," she said.

"You can't get rid of me, I'm a part of you," it said, knocking her away.

 

"We'll just see about that!" Michael rushed the demon, getting in a few quick slashes.

 

Recap.....please?.....

 

The demon grinned, its wounds healed.

"I can't die yet, if I die, Kai dies!" it shouted.

It attacked Kai, she quickly summoned her sword and blocked it. One of its claws into Kai's right eye.

 

OOC: There was a small run-in with the enemy forces, Kai collapsed and now Michael and Kai are doing battle with a demon that was sealed in her 5 years ago.

BIC:Michael flew foward and kicked the demon, driving it back.

"I'm not going to let her die, demon."

 

Dante kneeled at Kai's side. "Are you alright, sister?"

Kai had her hand over her bleeding eye. "I'm fine." She stood up and looked toward the demon.

"Michael..... It may be right about if it dies."

 

"No, I'm not going to let that happen. I will drive this demon from you."

Suddenly, a white light enveloped Michael.

 

"Michael?!" Kai was surprised by the light. "Michael!"

 

Well......I guess I could always spy.......*sigh*....but I hate spying....

 

When the light cleared, Michael's appearence changed. His eyes were white and he now had 2 pairs of wings, both silver. He started making arcane gestures and small circles of light appeared beneath Kai and the demon.

"Power of the four wind gods, I command thee. Shatter the bonds that tie these two souls together."

 

Kai felt her soul break free of the darkness that the demon held over her. "Thanks, love." She summoned her sword and attacked the demon through the chest. It screamed and disappeared in a explosion of darkness. Kai turned back to Michael.

"Let's back."

Kai woke up and sat up. "Hermia, hey."

 

Michael woke up, still looking like he did after the flash of light. Some of the soldiers looked at him with awe.

"By the gods......"

The light shined again, and when it dissipated, Michael looked like his former self.

"What.....just happened?"

 

"What happened in your mind?" Hermia asked as she wrapped a bandage around Kai's eye.

"I'm don't really sure." Kai touched the bandage. Dante appeared.

"Sister, Michael is waiting outside."

Kai got out of her bed and ran to Michael. "Michael!" She hugged him.

 

.........*sigh*.......I can't keep doing this.....school is in the way.

 

"Are you alright now, my love?"

OOC: Yeah, school sucks that way, FKB

 

"Yeah." Kai smiled, and sighed. "Hermia bandaged up my eye. Whatever happened to you in my mind helped me see the light that demon hid."
