"Yeah?" he asked.

 

"Did you ever have a family, I'm Kai's older brother," he said. "Dante is our young half-brother. Hermia is his mother."

 

Geryl sighed as he walked around teh camp. Nothing so far and yet nothing interesting now.

 

"I have a brother named Aldon." he said. "I haven't seen him in millennia."

 

"Our mother was killed," Virgil said. "She was so proud of the blood we carry, that when Dante was born, she started to abuse him. But Kai was the only one who defended him. She had killed our mother. So, how old are you, over 1,000?"

 

"Yes, so is my brother." he said. "My mother has been dead for a long long time." He shed a tear.

 

Virgil smiled, "Love. It is not but beautiful to those who have not felt it, but not but romantic to those who have."

Lu came out of the tent, "You're saying in that poem, you've have love?"

Virgil laughed, "Cliff, the news of Kai and Micheal's wedding was really a shock to us."

 

Geryl sighed as he watched teh army shift.

 

"It was a shock to me too." he said "But I'm happy for them."

 

"She means everything to me."

 

"Well, when I heard of it, I thought, 'This can't be Kai. She hates boys. The way she treated the boys in our village.' But I realized Kai actually happy with Michael." Virgil smiled. "You have someone you love, right?"

"Kai thinks the same of you," Dante said. "About your wedding, I thought that this couldn't be my older sister. She always dislikes boys. But are you actually willing to have your life for her?"

 

"Yes, Sophia." he said. "I'm thinking of proposing to her after the war, but don't tell anyone."

 

"Yes, I would go to the bowels of hell itself for her."

 

"My lips are sealed." Virgil smiled at Cliff.

Dante smiled. "I think I'll visit Kai's mind and ask her what's wrong? She's the only one who would love me." He vanished.

 

"Thank you." he said.

 

Michael gripped his head in frustration. While Dante was playing games, Michael was inching ever closer to losing the love of his life forever.

 

Geryl went over to Michael. Is something wrong?

 

Dante reappeared. He gasped for air.

"Dante, son, are you alright?" Hermia asked.

"Kai's fighting the demon the witch she faced five years ago put in her," he said. "But she told me, 'Dante, tell Michael I need him right now. I don't think I can handle this myself.' She said she feels like she's in hell. Michael, Kai wants this demon in her freed." He fell to his knees.

 

"Lead me to this demon then, Dante."

 

Geryl watched him a bit then shrugged and left back looking over teh cliff.
