The Legend of Dragon 2

Geryl leaned on teh rocky wall and watched them sing their tune.

 

Michael stopped playing after a while and sighed.

"I worry for our people, Kai. We may very well be marching to our deaths.....Some king I'm turning out to be."

 

Geryl looked at Michael. King? Geryl scoffed. Cities full of mindless violence and killing cannot be retored until that person finds out who it is. Never liked living in cities. geryl said.

 

"Michael, I know you'll be a great king," Kai told him. "But I'd imaged myself as a queen. But we have to strong, cause we have to believe in our strength." She turned to Michael and kissed him.

 

"You're right, Kai. I must be strong to lead the keldon through these dark times. This isn't a time for weakness. We will win this war, I know it."

 

Geryl left teh area for a while and went to the edge of the cliff away from Michael and Kai to watch the scene closer. The world is coming to an end.......time has come........why is my life complicated?

 

Kai smiled, Dante ran up to them.

"Michael!" he said. "We're ready to train for battle. Would Kai help?"

Kai sighed.

 

"Come on, Kai. They'll need to know how to handle a sword one day, anyway."

"Yeah! And you'll keep your promise to marry when we win, right?" Kai asked, smiling, as she walked with Dante.

 

"I'm a man of my word. If this damn war hadn't have come up, though, we would have been married sooner."

 

Kai just smiled and looked at the sky. "I hope Zephyr comes back soon. I really miss her."

 

"She promised she would, although I'm kind of dreading seeing that obnoxious little toad again."

Geryl came back to Kai and Michael. Either it's me or is teh army shifting?

 

Dante turned to Kai. "Some soldiers decided you as general. Since Father was..... Also they set up a tent for you and Michael."

Kai laughed a bit, "The army already has a general. Besides, I don't think I'll be a good general."

 

"Of course you would make a good general, Kai. Don't underestimate yourself like that."

Michael turned to Geryl. "What do you mean 'shifting'?"

 

I don't know. Like, moving in circles, squares as if you're playing follow the leader through the crowd. geryl said.

 

Kai turned to Dante.

"Go to the soldiers and tell them to prepare for battle. Now!"

Dante nodded, and ran.
