Aden smiled slightly. Today was a new day. A new day for people to make fun of your heritage, a voice in her head nagged her. She told herself to shut up. I wonder who's going to the new school, she thought. I don't want to be alone.

Axel gave her a small set of chakrams. "Take care of these," he warned. She smiled and hugged him. "Thanks, daddy." He ruffled her hair and smiled. "Have a good day! You do remember how to portal, right?" She nodded. He smiled wider. "That's my girl. Have fun!" Aden portalled out of the room.
