ALRIGHT, sorry for taking so long on this. The song I've chosen for my part in the MEP is "Hold" by Superchick. I intend to start editing tomorrow (or, considering the hour, later today?). :)

Big update, as we are reaching the home stretch here I have color coded the list of participants: green for those who have turned their parts in, red for those who have not. Please keep in mind you have about two more weeks before the deadline on August 12.

As I had to sift through the posts manually and I'm aware some people have turned their parts in via PM, it is very easy for me to have missed someone, so let me know if that's the case! I only made your name green if you have given us a download link of your part (if you have only posted it on YouTube, your name should be red).

Also just a quick note, while we are happy to provide critique and encourage you to ask for it if you want it, if you are unable to redo your part or even simply don't want to, let us know. We understand if you don't have the time or desire to rework your parts. Keep in mind, though, that any critique we give is entirely constructive and is not meant to be offensive.

It's looking pretty good. You did a good job with the lyric sync and while some of the scenes could've flowed together better in my opinion, you did a pretty good job. Congrats!

The deadline is approching closer guys. How are the people who are still editing their parts doing?

Well it doesn't need to be fixed. Plus flowing scenes together smoothly is something that you learn with practice and there isn't a simple way to do it. Sometimes you can just use a fade or maybe a blur to blend two scenes together when you transition them. Sometimes you don't even need that and a simple cut can suffice. It's a little complicated xD

 

What GS is TRYING to say is that there's no RIGHT way to make it flow. It all depends on the editor, and although the beginning was the best part imo, it still looks good. There's no need to fix it unless there's a major issue (which there isn't).

There was no need to do that. I've already gotten in contact with most of the people on the list already to see how they are doing. Plus they should also be checking this thread for updates anyway B|

EDIT: Quick question. Would you prefer it if we had fade out's on our videos? Or would you rather do it yourself?

 

no fading out. I asked that earlier. If it needs to be faded out they'll do it themselves
