Phisoxa:" From what I heard from down the hallway, you are a goddess correct? A higher being just like Dante. Interesting, so let me guess you come with a spoiled god-like attitude as well?"
She said making fun of her.
Aia:" You have no right to insult me mortal !!"
She said as Phisoxa twisted the heel of her boot deeper into her stomach and Aia cried out in pain. Indeed she had never experienced pain before and now she has since she is in a human host.
Phisoxa:" Shut up, I don't care how high and mighty you are, you are not going back to your friends in the sky nor are you going to take Dante or Mixt with you, they can stay here if they please, they have choices too you know. Anyways what Dante feels for me is none of your business because from what I hear most gods are coldhearted selfish creatures, who never knew what love is. Tell me, have you ever felt love?"
Aia stopped struggling with Phisoxa had asked her that and tried to think, when her eyes wandered over to Robbie and Clara suddenly a huge feeling of guilt and sorrow flooded her heart. She didn't know why nor could she remember. Yes she had loved before, but who she had loved she could not remember. She pulled Phisoxa's foot away and dragged herself over to the wall away from them.
Aia:" Stay away from me now !!"

 

Trixis gazed upon the scene. Things always happen when you talk about love. The worst thing about it is if you can't remember who you loved. She felt only a little sorry for Aia.

 

zero step in from of Aia "ok i seen too much i will not let you hurt Aia phisoxa or anybody of you people "zero grad aia let got zero look at phisoxa something was making zero sad to see aia like that.

 

"Actually" Mixt interjected on Phisoxa's rant. "I would like to go with her." Mixt could hardly believe what he was saying. He had made the decision logically but it still stood that a dark general was to be an assistant to the God of Light.

 

Phisoxa:" Mixt are you serious? Are you sure she won't treat you like a slave?"
Aia:" I knew you would come to your senses Mixt."
She said as she stood up.
Phisoxa:" Okay fine then whatever."
She said as she exited the room and walked out into the hallway, not even making eye contact with anybody.
Aia:" Since you are a immortal dear sir, you are able to open the gateway back home, I can only summon it mentally but this human vessel cannot open it because it requires the blood of either a immortal or a God."
She said snapping her fingers as a serene looking door appeared. It was white with gold inscriptions on it that seemed to be a different language.
Aia: I will burn my hand off if I try to open it."

 

Mixt opened Aia's door and then took a step back with a half bow to allow her to enter first. Once he was behind Aia Mixt looked at Phisoxa for a moment and flashed her a cold and smug smile that said he knew exactly what he was doing. Then Mixt walked through the door himself.

 

Aia smiled and sent a grin that said payback to Phisoxa's eyes, Aia wanted this and enjoyed seeing Phisoxa in that state. When she walked through the door Aia began to walk up a pure white staircase that seemed to be on going forever, but it was a illusion. As soon Mixt got in with her the stair case began to shake and suddenly thrust itself forward till the door had gone and they were at the top.
Phisoxa stood out in the hallway watching them leave. Dante smiled a bit after acknowledging them. He wasn't sure if Mixt would come back or not, be he didn't care at least he didn't have Mixt in the way anymore.
Dante:" Hey Phisoxa, don't feel so terrible, its expected of Mixt."

 

Robbie was using a first aid kit on Clara when he looked up at Dante. "Don't even try start putting the moves on Phisoxa" he said to Dante as he went back to the first aid.

 

Mixt followed Aia but was a bit uneasy. As a scientist he was used to finding things slowly, like pulling back the layers on an onion. Being shown all this at once was like someone took a knife and cut the whole thing in half to show all the layers at once. And it wasn't helping that he was accustomed to being surrounded by dark, or at least neutral, people and places and now everything he saw was white. But as long as he kept the end in sight he would be able to handle this.

Dante:" Awww why not? Mixt is not here anymore, its not like its going to make him mad, plus I saw her first and then all you late timers decided to take her away from me."

Meanwhile . . .

When they neared the top of the stairs, a second pair of doors opened for them, revealing a magnificent world on the otherside. A huge city filled with beautifully constructed buildings, surrounding the city was a beautiful oasis, of gardens, lagoons and waterfalls. A gate stood before them where two men, possibly guards, foretold by their armor and spears that watched the gate. When they saw the two enter they began walking towards them.
????: "Hey you,immortal, why do you bring a mortal here?"

 

Robbie sighed. "You know why" he said to Dante leading Clara to one of the med bays.

 

It took Mixt a moment longer than it should have to realize what they meant since his mind was working on overdrive to process all of this at once "What mortal? What are talking- Oh! I'm sorry for the confusion. I'm actually the guest here. She isn't a mortal, rather a god in a mortal's body."

 

????:" Oh really now? How do you expect for us to believe that? We have strict polices here on mortals, they must first have a note of approval by one of the other gods if they have been assigned as a slave or a worker."
One of the guards said as he pointed his spear at the girl's chin. Aia however seemed displeased with their ignorance and with one quick shot of her hand grabbed the spear beneath the tip and pushed it away from her chin with such strength that it startled the guard.
Aia:" I am no weakling of a mortal, I am the Goddes Aiadera, don't you dare question him, for he is my assistant. He has helped me return he and I do not wish for you people to rudely treat him, now let me into the palace or will go inside on my own."
She said she as the guards seemed to surprised and feel to their hands and knees in a low bow.
????:" We are terribly sorry my Lady, we did not expect you to be in this form, forgive us !!!"
Aia:" Apology accepted, luckily you have caught me in a merciful mood."
She said with a smile as they hurried to open the gates and so they opened for Mixt and Aia. Aia proceeded through not even waiting for Mixt to catch up.

Meanwhile . . .

Dante:" Maybe it's because you can't keep your filthy mitts off things that don't belong to you."
He said looking over at him with a annoyed look as he followed Phisoxa who was going to help bring Clara into the bay.

 

"Don't help" Clara said to Phisoxa. Robbie carried her to the med bay and put her down on one of the beds.

 

Phisoxa:" No I got to help you, she nearly tore you up pretty bad, anyways whats her deal? Anyways I don't think I have ever heard of this goddess being so violent and uncaring. From what the people down at the temple in Sarca tell me, she is the Mother Shepardess and nurturer of life and light, but by the way she acts I am unsure."
She said as she kneeled down by Clara's bed as Dante stood leaning in the doorway.

 

Mixt was a bit surprised. This was her being merciful? She was so... wrathful. Especially considering she was the god of light and life. This might work out better than he thought. As Mixt caught up he was slightly disappointed that he didn't get a chance to see what punishment for immortals looked like. Aia had mentioned people losing mortality for the sake of having a child. Could the punishment be becoming mortal? But she also said they had few numbers so he didn't imagine them being willing to be rid of them that easily.

 

"When she stuck me, I felt her emotions for some reason, she is incomplete, missing a part of her self" she said to them. She looked up at Robbie. "We have to help her, she is suffering and is lost in that suffering" she said to him.

 

Aia walked past the people avoiding their eyes and whispers, nearly the entire population of immortals lived here to serve the gods to work for them so there were alot of them, almost as much to fill the city of light. She walked the stairs of the palace and when she got into the throne room it was massive room layered with marble and thick stone, it was full of people too, many servants a sparse few gods who sat on large silk pillows they spoke to the lead god who looked to be at the peak of his adulthood, with small flecks of gray hair mixed in with black but he didn't look too old or wrinkly but had the look of someone who has seen many summers. He stood up when the girl entered, to get a better look. He silenced the many talking people in order to get his voice to be heard.
????:"Aiadera? Is that you?"
He said as Aia wandered over, a smile on her face.
Aia:" Yes it is I Grandpa, I have returned from my absence, but now I am trapped in this mortal body that look simliar to mine, as you noticed, it does seem younger then my true form."
He came running down the steps and wrapped his arms around the girl.
????:" That doesn't matter now, I haven't seen you for nearly tens of thousands of years, I have missed you terribly, I surely thought that ran off with that boy you were involved with and got hurt, but now that I see you, that doesn't concern me, you are alive and well."
Aia was full of happiness and relief but when her Grandfather mentioned a boy, she seemed even more confused.
Aia:" Boy? Grandfather don't you remember? I don't have time to associate myself with men, I am sure you got yourself confused I wasn't involved with any boy."


Phisoxa held Clara's hand in hers.
Phisoxa:" Are you sure? You really want to help that witch? She might try to hurt you again. Are you meaning to go after her through that gate with Robbie?"

 

"She is in pain, besides I held back against her" Clara said.
