The Keyblade War- the Return of Truths

"You first." Rako said in his mechanized voice.

 

Trixis still stood where she was. She had to think of something to slow this "hunk of junk" in Trixis' words down. She dashed around at him and used thundaga on his jet engines and jumped back out of the engine's reach in case he turned it on.

 

OOC: While I was waiting for my Mom to go through her stuff on the computer I was listening to music on my PSP and the song was Falls Apart by Thousand Foot Krutch. Sometimes I swear my music players have a mind of their own.

Through a hole in the smoke that had been cleared by Torxber rising up out of it, Torxber could see Mixt giving him the finger as the smoke wrapped around him again. The injury would mean that flash-stepping would cause the injury to worsen significantly. Fortunately having his body trained to flash-step meant that he could remain at a decent speed even with such an injury.

 

Music

Rako lifted his hands and attracted the lightning to his open palms. Once they struck he held them in the palms of his hands. The he tossed the lightning back at Trixis. "Let's see if your faster than light!"

 

Trixis watched the lightning dance back at her and she managed to dodge it by going right through it. She caught it on her keyblade and sent it back at him once again.

 

Rako didn't want to play catch all day so he back-handed the lightning bolt behind him. Then Rako blasted towards her with his sword ready. Rako then, at the last moment, leaped into the air and came down on her in a down-ward slash of his energy sword.

 

Nuthura then aimed one of her cannons at Phisoxa and was aiming to hit her when she was too busy fighting off the outcoming drones and when the cannon charged up and Nuthura was about to fire at Phisoxa she then stopped, unable to strike such a blow at Phisoxa, inside the suit Nuthura kept trying to reach for the launch button but her movements were unresponsive. Phisoxa saw the moment and thought the cannon was jammed as Phisoxa ran towards the hulking thing and began hitting it with large waves of water that made it seem it was tsunami happeining as a huge wave began to heave itself over the horizon and began coming towards Phisoxa who was busy trying to keep the spell going from a top a tower of rock now.

 

Trixis was about to dodge the straight approach when Rako did the downward slash. She twisted around it and made her ankle hurt more. She clasped it while jumping back again out of range. She began to use curaga on it.

 

Music

Rako gave her no time to actually heal. As he began sending energy slash's at her once again.

 

Trixis spotted the slashes coming at her and quit healing. She jumped and flipped around the slashes.

The wave seemed to hit Nuthura with a force of running into a solid wall of stone and smashed her up against one of the rock formations as the rave seemed to disappear as fast as it came. Inside the armored suit Nuthura was knocked unconscious by the concussion as Phisoxa pounced off the rocks and began to walk over to the crumpled over armored figure.

 

Mixt stood still in the dust cloud, taking deep controlled breaths, trying to keep his energy up and at the same time calm himself down. He wanted to join one of the other two fights since Torxber was momentarily inactive but knew that their best chance was in these smaller battles. Instead Mixt came up with a side plan. It probably wouldn't be enough to win, but it should work better than what they have been doing. Mixt placed his hands on the ground and alchemical sparks started flying across the terrain but after they had passed nothing looked different at all.

 

Phisoxa made a fist with her palm and threw it back and then thrusted it forward with such energy that it punched a hole in the suit so she could see inside. When she attempted to look inside it was too late before Nuthura smashed through and jumped out of the suit and began to throw some physical attacks at Phisoxa. Phisoxa stepped back trying to block all of Nuthura's powerful kicks and punches with her own palms.

Sharpening her clearly frustrated stare at her husband, Renee let out a long sigh. A tear seemed to trickle gently down her cheek as she began to recant her observations. “People of have been talking Cor. People around town have been passing word back and forth for months now, about some new war that might be breaking out. Even the kids are talking about it now, because their parents won’t let the subject drop. They say that it’s only a matter of time until everything picks up, and the town is brought into the fray. Some people are even talking about leaving.”

“What does that have to do with Adrian though?” Cornelius inquired. His wonderment was beginning to mount now. He had some idea of where Renee was going, but a part of him kept those thoughts down. It was dangerous to think of another war, especially considering how much rebuilding had had to be done in the wake of the one fifteen years ago. He shook of his ideas of where his wife was going. It was unfathomable to think in such ways.

“I mean, so what? There’s a war in the works, and we might have some trouble. This town is under some watchful eyes, even if they’ve been having a bit of trouble keeping up with the quickening pace. One the younger guys get broken in, the Defense Force will be top notch!”

“COR!” Renee was on her feet now. Her voice was roughed with a mix of both fear, and astonishment. “How could be so incompetent that you can’t see what your own son has been thinking of? Everyday he comes back from school, asking if you’ve left to fight the Darkness again! And what’s more… he asks me if he can go too, and fight for the town, and for right! Adrian’s…. he’s got too much us in him Cor. Too much of that fighter spirit. But times have changed. We can’t let a fourteen year old boy go out into the worlds to fight if a war breaks out.”

“Ummm…” Cornelius fumbled around for his next words. They came pretty hard to him, but eventually, he managed to piece together what he thought to be a well formulated rebut. “Renee, I can’t speak for the people of the town. But the Defense Force has been in a buzz all the same as that. Talks of new wars and troubles to come. And yes, a lot has been happening in town as well, what with all the commotions. But I can assure you… teens and children will be the last people that could possibly get out into the action if things were to escalate to the point of war again.

“Now,” he said. “Let’s not worry about Adrian’s adventurous attitude just now. OK? Let’s just enjoy diner, and wait for the kid to come home. We can always talk to him about his ambitions.”


“Who are you?” Adrian spat out at the five men before him. He couldn’t rightly say why he was yelling at them like that. Anyone of them probably could have swiped him out of consciousness with a flick of their wrist. They seemed that powerful, where a ceremonial looking combination of armor worn over robes. Then, for an even more unknown reason, the boy tacked on an affront to the lot of them, “I mean, other than a bunch freaks.” He cracked a satisfied smile, under the impression that he had gotten to their heads the way bullies at school always got into little kids heads to provoke them into fights. He felt accomplished only for a few seconds though, when he realized that the men wouldn’t be so easily swayed.

One of the men, one standing at the front and center of the group’s formation, had stepped forward. It was hard to tell if he was more or just as frightening as his partners. He was a tall, lanky man, with a smooth, and completely bald head. The only hair that was visible upon him was the goatee extending several inches out of his chin. “So, you must be the Boroughs boy, right?” he said, acting as though he hadn’t even heard Adrian’s demand for his identity. “I mean, you ARE Boroughs’ kid, are you not?” he rephrased his question, albeit needlessly, laying into Adrian that it was not his turn to ask questions.

“Yeah!” Adrian retorted. “Cornelius and Renee Boroughs. They’ve fought tooth and nail for this town, and someday, I’m gonna do the same thing! Now who are you people? How do you know my parents? What do want here?”

“Kid,” said another of the five. This one was slightly shorter than the previous one, but with a larger, bulkier build. He also had hair of a black color that ran perfectly straight in long locks passed his shoulders. He too, had a beard, though his was accompanied by an adjoined mustache. “Your father’s an old man. And old men always have a few old friends that like to look them up from time to time.”

“Damn it!” shouted another one, roughly the same height as the second man, though not quite as large, with wilder hair that was colored brown. “Jon! Joran! Quite stalling and just cut to the effing chase!”

“Alright, alright! I’ll get to it Cahimel,” the first man said, holding up his hand to silence the third. He looked at Adrian with a dissecting glance, and asked simply, “So. You’re old man still kicking around town like we’ve heard?”

“What’s it to ya if my old man’s kicking around town?” Adrian asked, this time more curiously than stubbornly.

“Well,” said the one named Joran, “we’ve been hoping to give your father a little visit. Turns out he’s got something that we need right now. So how’s about you take us to him, so we don’t have to go tearing through town to find him?”

“… Alright,” he said after a moment’s hesitation. “I’ll do it. But only because my dad can take on anyone!” ​

((So where abouts are the other characters? I'm looking to send Adrian out that way somehow)).

 

OOC: They are at some military base... I don't really know where it is XD

 

OOC: common guys, I really need a Recap! Can someone please give me one, as I do not have time to read four+ pages of posts.

 

OOC: Pretty much, Torxber and Rako left the ship. Phisoxa was in med bay when Robbie woke up. Robbie asked who Trixis was and mixt came in the room. Phisoxa showed mixt somewhere he could rest and Robbie went to the bridge. Trixis hung around med bay and Phisoxa went to the pool in the gym to swim. Torxber, Rako and Nuthura attacked a military base in Highteck Heavy armor, and the alarm went off in the ship. Everyone was called to the bridge which Mixt, Phisoxa and Trixis were in the bridge after. Robbie showed them pictures and footage of the attack and the four of them went down in a gummi ship to fend off the three. Trixis is fighting Rako, Mixt is fighting Torxber and Phisoxa is fighting Nuthura. I don't know where Robbie went. Someone correct me if i'm missing something important or if something isn't right as i am not good at writing recaps... XD

 

Torxber came flying down at Mixt with his massive sword ready to cleave Mixt in two, when he swung he made sure he wouldn't land on the ground so he would be hovering just above the ground.
