The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

Immediately noticing the damage Mixt thrust his hands against the wall of the shattering prison, using alchemy to reconstruct it. However this did nothing to stop the captive's continuous breaking of it, essentially causing the situation to become a power struggle. On one hand it is easier to destroy than create. But on the other the captive man was sedated to a degree, or at least he should be. Were he to free himself from his confinement Mixt wasn't sure they would be able to capture him again.

 

"I win" a voice echoed threw the room as the water started to glow bright. The water in the crystal prision started gathering energy as it got brighter.

 

He's overloading it! Mixt realized as he jumped back and slammed his hands on the ground to bring up a wall to shield himself from the burst of energy that would surely result from his allowing the energy to be released.

 

The water in the crystal exploded, sending massive shards of crystal everywhere, the water that leaked out of the prision exploded from the original explosion.

 

Having been bracedfor such an event the explosion did not phase Mixt much. Once the shockwaves subsided Mixt let the barrier wall collapse and he ran in, hoping to get in an assassination with alchemy. Or if not that then at least a severe injury.

OOC: well I'm sorry, there was many times this rp was idle lately so you could have caught up and actually read into things. I suggest you keep the conversation in the ooc or atleast ask me to recap you once in a while ~_~;

 

As Mixt came foward the prisoner fired seven kunai at Mixt.

 

Mixt pushed forward with his hand. A strong gust of wind started pushing the kunais up and backwards, slowing them enough that he could mostly sidestep them. What did hit just glanced off his armor, though Mixt noted that the damage it did was more severe than should of happened at those speeds.

 

The kunai that went past turned around and flew at the mixt lookalike from behind while the prisoner touched his hands on the ground, he then sank threw a portal that opened beneth him and reappered in the deserted city Mixt was in, falling from the sky.

 

Meanwhile . . .
Phisoxa heard troubled mutters amongst the people in the palace saying that the prisoner had escaped. Did news get around that quickly. If the prisoner escaped, then what would that mean for her. Suddenly Phisoxa was grabbed on the arm by a guard as he began to drag her along.
" Where am I going?"
Phisoxa said as she was dragged along towards a long empty hallway as Dante and the man from before showed up at the end of it walking towards them
" Its has been decided the trial shall start since the prisoner escaped."
Phisoxa was lead into a white room where all the walls seemed to be made of some sort of opalesence material that was reflective and smooth. The room was circular and on the walls were rows upon rows of velvety chairs. In the middle there was a tall platform build to face the VIP and judge box where the gods and the judge would be seated. There was a adjacent platform that seemed to float in midair next to the middle. From Phisoxa's guest this was the accusers platform while the middle one was the accused, where Phisoxa would be sitting in front of everyone.
The guard walked over to the towering platform and pulled Phisoxa over as they were loaded onto a elevator that took them all the way up to the platform above as Dante and the other man simply floated almost magically up to the adjacent platform. When they reached the top, there was a single white chair in the middle of the platform where Phisoxa was forced sit within while on the adjacent platform Dante and the other man had their own table and chairs which were white too.
Behind Phisoxa in the rows lining the walls people were starting to flood in and in the VIP box. Most of the gods were already seated and the Judge seated in his box. Phisoxa could spot Aia sitting on the top row next to the VIP box while her father sat in a throne nearby the Judge's box. When Phisoxa sat down in her white chair the guard left her alone on the platform as she could hear the King's voice boom all the way over from where she sat saying that were still waiting for Mixt.

 

As the kunais turned the man vanished to return to the god realm. He was not going to be able to take care of the escaped prisoner on his own so the least he could do would be to take care of the girl. As he appeared in the court room he made his way into position at the accuser's platform with Dante and the other man.


Meanwhile Mixt, the real Mixt, sat in the abandoned town. He had given up hope of finding anything long ago and took this chance to try and practice focusing his energy. Perhaps soon he would be making a stable portal.

 

The courtroom was cluttered with chatter as the jurors and noble immortal guests sat in the rows of benches that it drowned out the conversation of Dante, Mixt, and the other man were holding even though they were so close by.Phisoxa felt intimated because it was so crowded that she felt as if she were exhibit at the zoo. No where else to go or run while everyone was staring or talking about some nonsense or rumor they heard about her or the breakout. Phisoxa's eyes then focused on the box in front of here where the judge, the king, and the other important gods were seated and she picked out Aia, the raven haired beauty without much trouble since for some reason she stood out like a sore thumb. Phisoxa then noticed Aia's expression it seemed bored and exhausted as if the woman didn't want to be here right now. Phisoxa was surprised that the woman could even show such human emotion her face and the others around her only wore fake smiles and or frowns since they had no use for the show of such emotion. Was there something different about Aia that Phisoxa had no idea about. The king's bald adviser's voice boomed throughout the room as he tried to bring silence down on the noisy crowd. When silence fell about the courtroom the king stood up, his watery blue eyes not staring at Phisoxa but rather the crowd around her.
" I assume that everyone has heard the news about breakout of our most serious criminal yet, well he still remains at large and I suggest everyone remain on high alert and report any suspicious incidents. But right now we have another matter on our hands. You see the young mortal woman before us. She may seem harmless but she is just as much a threat as the escaped criminal himself. It has been decided that the gods try her before deciding whether to spare her life and put her under containment or to execute her, reasons why our very own royal seer can answer."
And with the ending of that sentence the King sat down and Dante stood up, the metallic jingle of his gold earrings could be heard in the eerie silence of the courtroom.
" It is true, I did make a grim prediction involving this woman and the safety of our world. From the careful translation of my visions I have come to the conclusion that this young woman's existence will bring disorder amongst all living things and the world itself and all the way up to the God's court as well. She is a abnormality that holds destructive powers and qualities that makes her a prime threat if she is left to continue living. Also in my visions it have been foretold that she will bring about the downfall of many gods and especially the downfall of our precious Princess Aia. I support the idea that it is best that we consider a speedy and quick execution to rid us of our threat. Lord Mixt here has more on the story to offer since he was the one who discovered her presence and the qualities she holds within her heart. Please hear him out."
Dante said raising his arms in the air and gesturing as he spoke as he then sat back down and a couple seconds of silence passed by as the room erupted into chatter and panic while the bald adviser tried to bring back order to the court. Again the room silenced. As Phisoxa rolled her eyes and sighed as she slumped back in her chair.

 

Mixt rose to his feet and waited for the room to quiet before starting. "It would appear to me that this mortal fits the mold of Lord Dante's visions. I discovered her when investigating a security breach. It seems to my systems that she spontaneously came into existence. When I went to investigate the phenomenon and found her attempting to release the very criminal that has escaped today. It is unclear if her actions played a significant role or if she was aware of her actions, however this not the topic of concern. What I discovered very quickly is that she holds within her the power of the kye-blade. The mark on her chest proves it, and I saw a glimpse of it's power as I engaged her in combat. I can provide data on the energy signatures if anyone would care to see it. Our combat ended when she fell unconscious and I brought her to our realm for his majesty to review. Although I was present, I believe that he would would provide greater insight..." He said, providing a pause to invite the king to speak or pass the explanation back to Mixt

 

The king nodded as he continued speaking.
" The girl also carries a second quality that also proves to be a big threat. . . you see upon the day of a solar eclipse she is to bear infant twins and those infant twins will be of demigod descent you see. Both will twins like the mother will be other threat to the worldly order and with them they shall harbor destructive power that will see to it that this universe be destroyed."
Phisoxa only sighed boredly as she waited for them to finish up. When the king finished the rest the courtroom broke out into an even larger uproar of chatter.
" There is no way I'm going to let that happen, the x-blade perhaps, but those children. I hope these people realize in time that I don't have time for men. Anyways being part of the knight's council prohibits me from marrying or having children. Both which I can do without. . ."
Phisoxa thought as she shifted around in her chair and looked up at the VIP box and waited for the judge to say his first words since the steely eyed man had remained quiet for such a time. The judge looked to be of normal height and he wore a long black robe, he looked to be in his mid thirties and had lengthy dark red hair that fell to his shoulders and green eyes. Even though he was young looking his presence felt overpowering as if she were feeling the presence of a much older man .

 

"Let me get this straigh, you want to condem this girl for something she hasn't done or can't help, because countless wars and deaths will happen and you mister god of fate wish to change, could you elbrate o what these changes would do?" the Judge asked, almost bored and annoyed.

The prisoner walked towards the real Mixt and watch his pathetic attempts at opening a corrdior of darkness.

 

Dante stood up quickly in response to the Judge's question.
" Its not the deaths we are concerned about really since the mortals seem to be at it again down there in their little game of war but we are mostly considered for the fate of the worldly order. Imagine if both the blade and twins came into existence at once. It will tear huge holes in time and space and mostly likely let unnatural things in and cause the world to be unstable and possibly more able to collapse into the darkness."

 

"Alright, but I still see no law broken, even if we did kill her whats to stop this from going to someone else instead, in fact can you tell me who the father of the twins is?" the judge asked Dante.
