The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

"You were right after all, as you always are Dante. I didn't have the heart to do it. She blacked out on me and I can't kill her if she can't even fight for herself properly. I'm taking her in for trial. But first I figured I would explain what her trial was for. The eons of war has to do with her holding the χ-blade it seems, but I still don't know what she would have to do with the first part you saw."

 

" Hmm . . . well my visions never explain it in full detail, they mostly come in riddles or mysteries that need to be decoded."
The man said as he walked closer and grabbed Phisoxa by the chin and looked he over without much of a thought. He looked over as if she were nothing but a pet or livestock and said nothing with little show of emotion. He then let go of her and stood back scratching his own chin.
" Hmm . . . there seems to be something else off about this one as well if you haven't sensed it yet Mixt. It seems the power of the X-blade is masking something else lingering in the shadow almost as if it were hiding itself. . . we better get that looked at."
Dante said as he muttered things over to himself nervously as the man that had been accompanying him only shook off the incident as if it were uninteresting.
" Wait till the oldman finds out about this, he will be hysterical and perhaps he will try and keep Aia hidden away further from the public eye."
The other man said as he eyed Phisoxa with a different interest in his eye as he made a slight charming smile that had no emotion behind it.Phisoxa felt a bit bewildered. It was hard keep herself from talking straight to their faces especially when she knew two of them so well yet in turn they didn't know her at all and seemed a bit hostile. Phisoxa felt as if she were in a bad dream, maybe her hunch was right and all of this was unreal. She pinched her arm and felt the sharp pain travel up her arm but nothing happened.

 

"I hope this gets dealt with before whatever we have to figure out what it is. If he puts anymore protection on her then she might as well as be in a prison." He said half jokingly.
Turning to Phisoxa he said. "Do you have any questions? Unless someone decides to speak on your behalf it will be up to you to convince the gods that your should live."

 

" Whats the point of throwing her into prison when the oldman's estate is as much prison in itself?"
Dante replied while he was still scratching his chin and thinking while staring at Phisoxa with almost a estranged look. This made Phisoxa feel a bit uncomfortable.
" I think I can handle myself pretty well, how bad can they possibly be, I basically live in a world full of politicians. . ."

 

"Well if she's ready I think we best be off." The man said. "I won't carry you this time, but if you so much as hesitate you might not get a chance to go to trial after all." He said to Phisoxa before giving her a light shove towards the palace to get thr group moving again"

 

It felt weird being bossed around by "Mixt" but Phisoxa heeded his words since they were only warning she was going to get on this world. So Phisoxa began walking, her mind concentrating more on sightseeing then the battle of fate that was about to play out in the trialroom. As the group started moving, Dante and the man who was accompanying him began following them. Phisoxa felt as if she were some dangerous criminal even though she couldn't hurt a fly, her existence was all but enough to make her a danger. She made it to the steps and walked up slowly and came to a stop at the top when a man wearing bronze colored armor opened up his visor to get a better look at the group that was arriving.
" May I ask why do you bring a unmarked mortal to the palace steps? You know the oldman isn't going to approve of this."
Phisoxa felt the nostalgia kick in when she saw the soldier's face and she almost broke out crying.
" Master West- "
She said in a hushed tone but she stopped herself from saying more.
"What was that mortal?"
Phisoxa remained quiet.

 

"This mortal is to stand trial. In accordance with the visions of Dante she is to be considered a severe threat until proven otherwise. As for the old man I think he'll be happy to have this out of the way. And don't mind her tongue, she still needs to learn to withhold such comments." He said, the last line being more to Phisoxa than to the man.

 

The man thumped his spear on the hard stone tile of the palacefront as he nodded and stood back as the front doors opened on their own. The throne room was massive greathall, with marble floors and pillars that seemed to go on forever at the end the there was large golden throne and olderman who appeared to be in his mid fifties dressed in a elaborate robe and next to his throne sat a very beautiful woman upon a satin pillow with jetblack hair who wore a linen dress that seemed to sparkle slightly. She wore a elegant sliver choker around her neck with a pendent picturing a white translucent deer upon it and a white rose, the choker seemed a bit heavy on her fragile neck and it didn't match any of her other jewelry which probably meant it symbolized something important.
Phisoxa and Mike were ordered to stop five feet from the foot of the throne but the Mixt, Dante, and the other man were allowed much further as Phisoxa and Mixt were forced to their knees by a attending adviser who had his head shaved bald and wore a black set of robes.
" Lord Dante, Lord Mixt, and Lord Mercentes wish to speak with you, your excellency."

 

The man gave a slight bow before speaking, the act seeming more polite than required. "Your excellency. I, Mixt, would like to request a panel to judge a case of this female mortal vs. the world order based on the visions of Dante. On initial confrontation she proved to be a severe threat, more than she realizes, but was still unable to duel me due to falling unconscious; so the task of her fight for existence must be done politically."

 

The middle aged man shifted in his seat, taking interest into this matter especially if such a case were so abnormal.
" So, Mixt, are you saying a mere mortal female is a source of such a severe threat . . .? Dante elaborate on this."
The man ordered as his eyes shifted over to Dante who was focused on something else at the moment but he jumped right back into reality when the older man called his name.
" Er . . . sorry my lord, well many days ago. I came upon a strange prediction, stranger then I have ever seen before. I kept it under my hood for a while because this event wasn't suppose to happen till hundreds of years from now. You see, it has been predicted that this mere mortal girl is to cause terrible disorder amongst the worlds as well as threaten the function of Princess Aia as a shepherdess of life and light. If this creature is allowed to live then utter chaos as well as the birth of the malicious godslaying weapon known as the X-Blade shall soon come to term. But as you can see, she has appeared before us far too early and her very presence here can be threatening."
The servants and advisers in attendance to God king gasped and muttered about themselves as the king scratched his chin and thought trying to think this over as he tried to narrow his eyes on the sight of the girl but couldn't since she was so far away.
" Bring her up here, I wish to gaze upon her face, heart, and . . . her memories."
The man said as he ordered Mixt, the young woman seated next to him looked concerned as she tried to tell the king something but he brushed her off and told her it was okay. The woman made a slim grimace as she sat back down on her pillow, the pendant on her choker dinging and ringing against the silver band from the sudden movement. Phisoxa looked around with a surprised look on her face as she scooted farther back away from them.
" Er Is this really necessary there are things that shouldn't be seen from my memories . . . strange things !!"

 

As ordered, Mixt walked back to Phisoxa. Noticing her hesitation he layed a hand on her shoulder and said. "Don't even think about going against his wishes. Even woman such as you have been killed for less. And you are lucky to be allowed this, people here wouldn't bat an eye for me to have killed you when you blacked out." Suddenly his grip tightened and he started pushing her towards the throne. "Now don't keep him waiting"

 

" I know but I'm warning you, you won't make any sense of thi- . . ."
The young woman said as she shoved forward and the bald headed adviser dragged her over by the collar of her shirt and threw her at the foot of the man's throne. The oldman grabbed Phisoxa by the chin and held her up examining her face, Phisoxa couldn't feel her arms and legs as he did that so she couldn't move,all she could do was breath, speak, and think since her body was gone from her control.
" The x-blade lays dormant in her and it won't wake up for quite some time, but. . . theres something else here . . . a curse almost as if it were. . . she will bear twins upon the day when the sun sleeps yet remains high in the sky, twins with the blood of a demigod, both are said to inherit a destructive nature and will terrorize the universe with unbelievable power, those are the details of the curse."
The man said as he stared into her face, making her feel rather uncomfortable, but the things that he was saying troubled her more.
" What . . . ?"

 

A soldier ran into the room to inform the oldman about something but stopped when he saw Phisoxa "Sorry sir" he blurted out, his expression was that of worry.

 

Twins of demigod blood, born during an eclipse. With both having awesome power. Could that be true? Mixt instinctively thought about that portion of the prophecy mentioning Aia. Could that have anything to do with how the mortal was to give birth to demigods? No, surely this was just paranoia. Completely natural considering what she had just gone through. When the soldier burst in Mixt turned to face him. It was rare for anyone to enter as such, surely he had important news. But judging by the look on his face it wasn't good either.

 

"Its the crystal prision, its breaking!" the soldier said panicing.

 

The king put his hand up in a signal for the soldier to be silent for a moment as the room around them went dark and instead they were in some sort of dark void. The walls of the voided displayed scenes of Phisoxa's memories flashing upon them. Strange scenes indeed. Some of those scenes were of a young with white hair facing a orb of light that sat suspended in midair that was speaking to her in some strange dialect, scenes of physical and emotional abuse of young girl by a adult male, scenes of people dying left to right at the hands of a key wielding raider, scenes of Phisoxa meeting a man named Master Westus who looked very much like the captain of the guards and then attending a school where many knew how to wield the key, scenes of Phisoxa meeting many new friends, friends of whom looked strikingly similar to Dante and Mixt, many other unexplainable things followed after that as some of the people in the room gasped and watched as they muttered amongst themselves. Phisoxa's eyes began watering with tears as she fell onto her back and lay there, her eyes wide open with fright. As the room faded back to normal, the King listened to the soldier's plea.
"Mixt hurry and take a few with you to stop this from happening. We can't afford for it to break. As for the girl she is fine here, I must go prepare and keep on high alert, if this goes smoothly, we will have the trail and hopefully it won't take too long. . ."
The King stood up and exited through a side door leaving Phisoxa still lying upon her back as the black haired woman got up and walked over to her. She kneeled down next to Phisoxa and put her hands on her arms. Suddenly Phisoxa could feel the feeling return to her arms and legs so she sat up as the woman looked down at her silently.
" Thank you very much . . . I'm sorry if my memories disturbed you people too much."
Phisoxa said as she rubbed her head, the black haired woman sat back, the jingling of her silver choker echoed slightly as she sighed.
" I don't get it, you do have these terrible powers that everyone talks about, yet don't seem like a malifius to me, you just seem to be a normal human girl."
The woman replied as Phisoxa listened intently.
" Well I didn't know I had any of these threats in the first place, I winded up here on my own so I'm not here to give anyone hell as far that I know. Anyways you must be that Goddess Aia that everyone keeps telling me that I'm going to one day harm. . . am I right?"
The black haired woman nodded as she sighed and she tightened her hands against their palms while they lay upon her lap.
" Hes finally breaking out, did you help him escape?"
Aia said as she looked over at Phisoxa.
" ... Hmm I guess I did, maybe that attack with my key did work. . . even though the mixt-lookalike said it wouldn't . . . but that's Mixt so it's alright. Anyways whats with that choker you wear on your neck, isn't a bit heavy, it looks very uncomfortable and what does the pendant symbolize?"
Phisoxa said changing the subject over to something random without realizing it.
" Ah . . . Its a engagement necklace . . . it symbolizes I'm getting married soon, the rose is my family's logo and the white doe symbolizes purity and serenity of the betrothed."
Aia said as she gripped the pendant in her hand as a couple of tears rolled down her cheek as she broke out into a silent sob.
" Whoa hey, I didn't mean to insult you. You should be happy about the marriage . . . are you . . .?"
Phisoxa said as she remembered Aia mentioning the word betrothed.
" Oh,You were forced into this huh . . . ah I see . . no need to tell me anymore."
Aia shook her head in disagreement.
" No I did it to save the man who is imprisoned in crystal, earlier before I met him the idea was suggested to me but I never accepted it willingly. But I did this time around to prevent a devastating war from happening because he and I had a relationship that would anger most. . ."

 

((So, for the sake of courtesy, I'd just like to inform you all that my house Internet has been down for about seven days. I have no clue when it's gonna be back up though, and until then, i probably won't get any posting in. If anything has happened or will happen around where Diuccio last was, just consider him as being tow with others. Hopefully I can jump back in soon)).

 

Mixt nodded. "Westus, you go gather some some men for a fight. I'll go straight there and see if I can't still repair it." Without even waiting for a response Mixt summoned a door back there. Etiquite would normally require him to go through the gate at the edge of the city, but time was too important here. Mixt did not even use the stairs but rather glided along them as he raced to crystal containment. What could of happened? The magical and physical resistance should have been absolute. The machine providing a constant barrier, using an etheral vat as energy. It shouldn't have run dry yet.

 

Westus nodded in response as well as he began calling orders out to some of the soldiers who had been lounging around in the throne room as he instructed for them to head to the crystal chamber, they all shouted in agreement as they warped away and Westus took one last look at Phisoxa as if something in his heart was nagging him to as he then warped off as well. Appearing several minutes later at the crystal chamber Back in the throne room a servant whispered in Aia's ear as she then got up and then wandered off without giving Phisoxa another look or warning while she left the room. The Bald headed adviser in the room then whistled and gestured as a middle-aged yet timid man walked in carrying a wooden box as he set it down next to Phisoxa and opened it revealing a metal black color with a smooth sheen that had some glowing blue light on the front of it. He clicked a unseen button as it opened up and then he walked towards Phisoxa. However Phisoxa tried avoiding the man as she scooted back and got up dodging his attempts to grab her. He muttered with a annoyed look in his eyes as Phisoxa kept moving out of the way, she wasn't about to have some strange device put around her neck but she wasn't going to be left alone without it as Phisoxa by mistake bumped into the broad chest of a guard stationed there who yanked her back by her hair as the timid man who was trying to capture her came forth and put the collar on around her neck.
" This shall keep you under control, you cannot run far nor can you summon that dreadful keyblade of yours in the presence of your trial."

 

The crystal prision started cracking as the captive inside started gathering energy. The water in inside the prision started leaking out all over the room as the cracks got bigger.
