The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

" Yeah, why is that suppose to be uncommon ?"
The woman said as she backed away from him while he walked forward, making sure he didn't get too close. She held her keyblade at her hip, keeping alert in case he made any sort of move.

 

"You do not even understand the power that you hold." He said shaking his head slowly again. "How could you not even know you have it?"

 

" Huh ? I know I hold the power of the keyblade yeah but whats so strange about having a power inside, I mean you have to have a powerful heart to be able to wield a keyblade so it shouldn't be uncommon, especially where I come from . . . Master Westus taught me mostly everything I know about how to master my power inside . . . he was almost finished too if he hadn't died . . . Each wielder has special key of their own, they are all on the same power level, its the wielder's heart and skill that decides how powerful that key later becomes"
The girl said rubbing her head while going off on her own thoughts outloud without noticing as she took her keyblade and leaned on it as if it were a cane of some sort.

 

"So naive." was all the man said. He continued walking towards her but truly he was walking for the door behind her. "We can't fight here. Per chance you do release him I will be the least of your worries." This last statement however was not presented as a treat, but merely a matter of fact.

 

" Why should I follow him if he tried to kill me . . . ?" Phisoxa sighed as she looked back over at the man in the container and she grabbed Mike by the arm and pulled him along as she followed him through the door.
" I don't get it . . . if you want me dead why didn't you just kill me on the spot? You could have instead of starting a fight with me. . . "

 

"First, I didn't know who you were. I came to investigate the sudden presence of life forms. Second, this isn't exactly my job. Third, I could kill you with a touch of my hand; I just thought you deserved to fight for your existence. It isn't your fault that your life will bring death to millions." The man led them through hallways, but the technological essence didn't fade when they left the room. The whole area looked like something out of a scifi movie.

 

Phisoxa followed him but she didn't seem a least bit surprised by the appearance of the place, she had been to technologically advanced places before especially Sarca which was a city made purely of technology and relied on it. A far cry from Janina which was all architecture but still had a oldworld-modern feel to it.
" Where are we going?"

 

"Here" he said simply as he stopped and placed a hand on the wall. An opening was made and revealed a room on the other side. The room beyond was a perfect cube with black and white tiled walls, ceiling, and floor that resembled a chess board. "This is a testing chamber, here we can fight without damaging the equipment. Unless you can break through titanium alloy reinforced by diamond nano-rods."

 

" Ah . . . I don't think I can . . . I'm sure."
Phisoxa said as she heard him go on and on with so many long words, this was like Mixt. But she still couldn't be too sure.
Phisoxa spun her keyblade around in her hand for a bit thinking as she walked to the otherside to face him. She then without warning began the fight again as she sprinted towards him with inhuman speed, sending charges from key in all directions as if they were missiles and then she teleported and reappeared behind the man floating in the air above.

 

The man moved with surprising speed, dodging the shots as easily. It was almost as if to him the beams were moving at a much slower rate. As the shots ended, instead of turning to face Phisoxa he walked over to a wall and then walked up it, as if doing so were entirely normal.

 

" What?"
Phisoxa thought as he dodge them with ease. " Hes pretty fast, I better just do normal attacks then. . ." The girl thought as she seemed surprised when he began walking up the wall. For some reason she felt as if she couldn't keep her focus and it was bewildering while she couldn't during such a battle, she began to feel dizzy for some reason as the mark under her collarbone burned like fire. Phisoxa then took off and teleported up into the air as she went to attack again, this time she welled up a large fire storm in the room using purely magic as she pounced up at the man and charged her key up again and she reached up to him with a even stronger hit, bringing the blade down on the man's armored chestplate and slamming it hard over and over till a large crack appeared on it and traveled down the side, Phisoxa then slammed it again, wedging it into the crack of the chestplate till blood seeped out and it landed on Phisoxa's shirt. She looked down at the blood and then one moment she even more dizzy and blacked out in midair and fell several feet down onto the ground below.

 

Once the assault was over the man looked down at the damage she had done. Despite the effort it took he he was surprised she was able to do it. Waving a hand over the crack it repaired itself. Although it looked the same as before he knew that it was now a weak point in his armor until he could repair it properly. Somehow it didn't feel right executing her like this. Sighing he returned to the floor and picked up Phisoxa. With an outstretched hand he called a door from nowhere and it opened on it's own, revealing itself to be a portal to a very long staircase. Turning to Mike he said, "You are free to follow or remain trapped in this room, the choice is yours." And at that he walked through the door with Phisoxa.

OOC: AwkwardFailure is on so lets try to get him posting instead of godmodding this whole part.

 

Phisoxa felt the sensation almost as if she were floating again so she woke up when she heard the strange man talk to Mike.
" What . . . What are you doing with me"
The girl said squirming in his arms.
" Mike watch out, he dangerous !!"

 

Mike groaned silently, "I'm sick of all this crap." he muttered, "I'm coming Phisoxa!" he said, slightly jogging through the door without hesitation.

OOC: So sorry, been lost for a while and been busy with end of the year stuff.

 

The man continued calmly up the staircase. "I can't fight you properly if you are just going to pass out." He said very simply to Phisoxa. "There is only one act of mercy I can still give you. You are to stand trial with the gods."

 

Phisoxa still squirmed but for some reason something was holding her back from attacking or jumping out of Mixt's arms, like when thought of jumping out of his arms her body wouldn't respond.
" To stand trial for something I haven't done I see, things work strangely around here. Anyways can you atleast explain to me why that man is trapped in that crystal container? What has he done?"

 

"He waged war on the gods and kidnapped Aia. As I've said before she is the goddess of life, thus he nearly caused Armageddon." As he reached the top there were a set of guard waiting. "The two of them are with me. No, they aren't slaves. And no, I don't feel like explaining" He said dismissing the guards before they could even say a word and leading the three of them through. "By the way boy, stay where I can see you at all times. I take no responsibility if you end up as a slave for wandering off"

 

" Oh so he really is a bad guy, I almost feel guilty for trying to let him out."
The girl said as she sighed, for some reason she felt relaxed as if the feeling came over her without reason. But that didn't take away from the pain that the mark was causing. Phisoxa reached down and moved the side of her green traveling cloak over to reveal the tattoo underneath her collarbone, it burned alot for some reason and it glowed a red glow slightly.
" Hey . . . If you people are gods correct, then you would happen to know alot of things humans wouldn't, so might I ask, do you have any idea what this mark means?"

 

"You really have no idea do you? I guess I should explain as it will be important to your trial. But not here. We need someplace more private." The man brought them through a crowded area remenescent of a market place and towards a palace but instead of going all the way to it he went off into the gardens. The gardens were truly only eye candy and people rarely actually went in them. "The keyblade you used to fight me is not the same as the keyblade I spoke of you possessing. In this case 'key' is a symbol looking similar to the letter X. 'Kye' is also appropriate if you prefer. It is born when a heart of pure light and a heart of pure darkness meet. Hence the seal being a dragon of white fighting a dragon of black. This χ-blade is a weapon of immense power. It spawns war over it and brings Kingdom Hearts. It's very existence can bring no good, and in the wrong hands spells disaster."

 

" X-blade . . .? Then that explains my dream with the monolith displaying a picture of two dragons forming into a X . . it must have been a vision fortelling what is about to happen. But . . . how does a picture of twinlike figures holding hands have to do with that."
The girl said thinking as her eyes were focused on the sights and sounds of such a strange place. Her sightseeing was intertupted when a man in gold tinted armor with long brown hair and a man who looked rather, strangely familiar passed through the garden. They were talking amongst themselves and seemed to be going somewhere. But the familiar man stopped and his eyes widened and he then raised a finger that was wearing a obsidian ring and pointed at her almost with a surprised look in his eyes but not his face.
" This can't be possible . . ."
He said fumbling inside of his pockets for a simple glass orb filled with a watery substance and he stared into it almost as if it were a crystal ball. He had no emotion what so ever appear on his face, just in his eyes. The man who was accompanying a rather handsome man as well only watched but not a concerned look appeared on his face. Phisoxa then came to the conclusion that people here didn't show any sort of emotion, she couldn't remember if the Mixt-lookalike had smiled or even frowned one bit. He then shouted with realization and kept pointing a finger at her.
" Ah ha . . . !!!"
Phisoxa then realized who the man resembled, Dante, with same egoistic charm and strange but at sometimes psychedelic nature.
