The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

As Mike and Phisoxa travelled threw the corridor they eventually appeared in a dark room. On all the wall where glowing dark red runes and in the middle of the room was a massive crystal container, the inside was filled with water and someone was floating in it. The person was wearing a black cloak and their face was hidden.

 

Once the pillar was high enough Mixt jumped off of it into the White Corridor and the pillar he used to get there crumbled to dust.

 

" I would like to learn how such a life plays out."
Rould said as he smiled and looked back over at the man.

Meanwhile . . .
Phisoxa stared over at the man inside the crystal container.
" Hello, hello can you hear me? Do you know what is going on?"
The girl said without thinking, she was desperate.

 

The person didn't reply, he didn't even move, he just floated in the container.

Mixt landed in a desolate town, the streets where empty.

"You won't get the chance" The man said flying towards Rould.

 

Mixt got to his feet and brushed himself off. "I must have gone in too long after them..." He commented out loud. Mixt walked through the town to see what he could find.



Hearing an alarm go off a man looked over at a screen. Looking it over he said "That's odd. Three new life forms? Where did they come from?"

 

" Hello . . .? Are you awake. . ."
Phisoxa shook her head as she tried to catch his attention but it seemed she couldn't, but as she leaned forward she found that she could float through the air on her own now. She floated over to the man and set her hands against the crystal carefully and knocked.
" Hello?"

Rould raised a eyebrow as he smiled and rushed towards them, when they clashed there was large red explosion and it began engulfing the town as people began running for the mountains in the distance to take shelter.

The town looked as if everyone had left months ago, it was completly empty.

The person in the crystal still didn't move.

 

Phisoxa then thought that maybe the man was trapped in here for a reason, whatever reason that was Phisoxa didn't care at the moment, she needed answers so she summoned her keyblade and then hesitated for a moment as she brought the blade down on the crystal with one hard hit.

 

The hit did nothing but crack Phisoxa's keyblade, but the person in the crystal moved. His left eye opened and had a yellow glow to it, that was the only indication that he was awake.

 

" Damn . . ."
Phisoxa said as she disummoned her keyblade, but when she saw the man open one of his eyes she pounded her firsts again on the crystal again, trying to get his attention.
" Hey you !!!"

 

"Talk about a ghost town. Strange though, it looks like there were plenty of people here before. Why would they just suddenly leave?" Mixt said as he looked around for anything out of place in the town.


Ribbons of energy started flowing through the air around Phisoxa and then closed together taking on the form of a man that was strikingly similar in appearance to Mixt. In fact the only notable difference was that this man looked older. The man placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's no use, and even if it was I wouldn't recommend it."

 

Phisoxa nearly screamed when she felt the hand of a strange man placed on her shoulder, she jerked free of it and backed away as she floated down to the ground of the chamber and looked over at him as she stood there.
" Mixt . . don't scare me like tha- . . . wait . . ."
Phisoxa looked at this man who looked like Mixt and realized she had mistaken him.
" What . . .? You aren't him, you look older . . and stay away from me !!"

 

"Wait a moment. You're her..." The man said. Shaking his head sadly as he reached out an arm and a katana materialized. "I'm sorry, but I made a promise. You can't be allowed to exist"

 

"I wouldn't do that" A voice echoed threw the room as 'Mixt' got his sword.

 

" Oh fine, I see how it is, you just met me and now you want to kill me .. "
The woman said as she summoned her keyblade and held it at her side. She nearly jumped when she heard a strange voice boom.
" Who else is here?"

 

"I'm sorry, it is your life or the lives of many. I can't allow you to undo the work of the goddess Aia." the man said as he brought the katana in to hold it by his waist and held it with both hands. However he waited for a more from the other person in the room before he would make his attack.

 

" Who is this Goddess Aia? If you are going to kill me over someone I don't know then it makes things far more unbecoming."
Phisoxa said as she jumped at Mixt, she had to make sure Mike didn't get involve in trying to protect her so she went for it as she brought her keyblade down on his chest.

 

The man blocked the attack with ease. Slowly he let go with his left hand but the force on the sword did not change at all. "Aia is the goddess of life, and this is her era. I can't let your existence ruin it."

 

" I don't intend to harm anyone or throw things out of wack, I winded up here by mistake, I don't even know where I am or who you are or who that man is in the container. . . the only thing that looks familiar to me is you, but it's impossible, hes younger."
The woman said as she pushed harder with her keyblade in hand, making sparks fly off as metal clashed with the metal on the man's glove. Her keyblade then slid off with a metallic ring and then she ran back at him again but instead her keyblade was charging up with some sort of energy as it began to glow and as she swept it through the air it make a stream of white energy in the shape of a X as it flew towards the man, its very presence seemed to cause a slight tremor in the room as it made contact with Mixt and it sent him flying into wall behind him.

 

The man had jumped up to fully allow the blast to carry him to the back wall. As he planted his feet on the wall the energy from the slash seemed to be sucked into the blade and as the force died he pushed off the wall with a thrust and sent a bolt of lightning from the sword back at her. "So that is why. The Keyblade rests within you does it?" He said calmly walking forward.
