The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

"Well I didn't want to make a bee line here. Since we were so far out an offset of a few degrees became quite a detour. As far as I'm aware though I was not followed. I assume I'm the last to arrive?"

 

"Who caught you two?" Dante asked Mixt and Phisoxa.

Outside the inn soldiers slowly surrounded the inn. They looked like normal citzens of the shadowlands and didn't give of any strange pressence.

 

" Mhmm , we were waiting for you, we were wondering if you were going to come at all."
Phisoxa said walking back over to the lounge of the inn and picking her bag back up that she had left stationary near a couple of wicked looking potted plants that almost seemed to be alive, one tried to snap at her but she turned away too fast to even notice.

" Some weird people who talked of feeding me alive to something, I don't know, I guess people around here are a little loopy."
Phisoxa said putting her bag over her arm.

 

"Oh, Rould is it, I think we should leave" Dante said after listning to Phisoxa. Outside the city where the portal was a sometype of object near by exploded destroying the portal and engulfing the area, it could be seen from the inn, as soon as the explosion started the soldiers surrounding the Inn started firing magic at it.

 

OOC: Time for us to be seperated from Rould and Victor, they will probably disappear leaving us on our own.

Phisoxa sensed something was up and she quickly ran towards Dante and pushed him out of the way and up against the wall, standing rather close to him as a glass window nearby exploded, sending shards everywhere.
" Watch out !! We have been found out I am afraid, we must get out of here!!"
She said as a another window exploded and she motioned for Mixt , Mike, and Dante to follow as she lifted herself away from the wall and ran down the hallway to the back of inn hoping she could find some back door out.

 

Mixt jumped as the explosion caught him off guard. That was something he hadn't noticed or expected. Quickly regaining his composure and noticing Phisoxa he followed as prompted.

 

As Phisoxa found the back door a soldier kicked it down, as soon as he saw Phisoxa he fired a stun spell at Phisoxa.

 

Moving on instinct Mixt summoned his keyblade and casted reflect on Phisoxa to protect her from the stun. However Mixt didn't make any move to follow up, not being sure about the current circumstance.

 

" Damn they must be with those women from earlier, that wasn't a spell meant to kill me for sure."
Phisoxa said as she looked around trying to find some other way out since the entire inn was surrounded. She then noticed a stained glass skylight lit up by the moon peering through the rainclouds above and she aimed her keyblade at it and fired a heat spell that shattered it, she covered her head to keep herself from being hit since the others were well out of the way she had no need to tell them to watch it either. Phisoxa then jumped out of the skylight and onto the roof outside, she tried to keep her balance when she hurried and ran off the said of the roof and pounced off of it landing on a smaller roof below.
" C'mon !!"
She signaled to them as she jumped off the smaller roof and onto the ground below and began sprinting down the road on the westside of town.

 

Mike had been following the whole time, but keeping silent as if he was never there, since he didn't want to be. He jumped out onto the roof, but instead of heading to the smaller roof he immediately jumped out onto the ground, but the roof was not as high as he thought. He toppled onto the ground, but not to stall he struggled upward and started running behind Phisoxa, still trying to regain his balance.

 

Mixt followed Phisoxa. This time they didn't have a rendezvous point so he couldn't try to split the pursuers up, they would need to find another method to make it work.

 

Phisoxa lead the others into the crowds nearby trying to make their pursuers loose sight of them as Phisoxa made a right turn and then came to a stop in a more deserted part of town which was mainly estates of the wealthy and higher up so there wasn't many crowds. Phisoxa turned around and stood there underneath gloomy looking streetlamp, catching her breath while she watched the others run towards her and to make sure nobody was following them.

Mike skidded to a halt a few feet away from her, kneeling against the pole. He looked back, the only noise he could hear his heavy breathing. "They're going to find us eventually." he muttered.

 

"Stop" someone said silently to Mixt, but there was no one around, his arm itched from where the dark wisp entered his body. "Stop, turn back" the voice said again.

 

" I wonder where Mixt has gone, maybe he got lost, I hope he is alright, I am sure they are not after him though. If these soldiers are associated with the two who kidnapped me before they would be after me."
Phisoxa said grabbing a hair tie from within her pack and tying her hair back so it wouldn't get in the way when she had to run with such high endurance like earlier.

 

"I'll go scout the area, you guys try to stay out of sight" Mixt lied before he ran off, wondering how long it would take before they gave up waiting on his return. Gut instinct was one thing, hearing voices was a whole different story. Good or bad it was worth investigating.

 

"Where are you running?" the voice asked Mixt, "Go back, go back to where we met" the voice continued.

 

" ... Mixt is a weird one isn't he, maybe he likes it here or something. I can see why, the social society in the realm of light can be quite a bother sometimes."
Phisoxa said as she then continued to walk on down the road, hoping those people from before won't follow her.

 

"How?" Mixt called back in his head "I don't exactly have a ship and even if the portal survived the explosion back there I don't know how to work it alone"

 

Use your greatest power, let it flow threw you" the voice said.
