The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

The emperor sighed loudly as he spoke to one of his servants and then excused himself, he had enough eating and matters today so he left the room. As he left most of the council left as well to secure the building just in in case as Nathaniel wandered over and took Phisoxa by suprised as he grabbed his hands in his.
" I don't think we ever truly introduced eachother, I'm Nathaniel Foleski."
" Yeah I knew who you were, but aren't you going to go after the emperor? Are you sure hes safe at a time like this?"
" It's nothing, really, its just hes been around for so long he takes everything so lightly now."
He said replying to her as he kissed her hand softly.
" You are of the Mindell family as I can see? I don't know why our families are so hostile with eachother, you defiantly don't fit that stereotype known so commonly amongst many."
" Well not all families are perfect I guess."
Phisoxa said making a slight smile.

 

"Watch it bo- I mean sir knight" Dante said when he saw Nathianel kiss Phisoxa's hand "May I ask who that guy was?" Dante asked, referring to the man in the purple uniform.

 

" He is the CEO of the Tohemi company, otherwise the emperor's mentor when he was a young lad and don't worry I'm not that much of a barbarian to try anything so fast."
He said with a smile at Phisoxa as gave her a kiss on her hand again and walked off to go check on the emperor.
" Hmm, he seemed like a nice guy, the general did."
She said seeming completely oblivious to how serious that had been, kissing a girl's hands during this time was like getting to thirdbase in the noble society's terms, but she seemed so influenced by modern times, she seemed not to notice.

 

Dante cleched his fists and had to take a minute to calm down "You should stay away from him" Dante said to Phisoxa.

 

Phisoxa smiled and laughed at his comment, thinking that he wasn't serious.
" Why, are you jealous or something? I see how it is."
She said as tugged her loosely hanging sleeves a she talked.

 

"Do you realise what a kiss on the hand means here?" Dante asked Phisoxa.

The Tohemi CEO was almost out of the palace, but he stopped because he though someone may be following him. His guard readied to attack anyone nearby.

 

" Isn't it just a greeting? Anyways I always see people in movies do it, hes being chivlrous like any knight, should as long as he doesn't try anything too serious I'm fine."
Phisoxa said smiling as he pulled her shawl around her arms that came with her dress.

Nathaniel came walking out of the castle, he distracted the guards stationed outside and told them to take the night off, lying so that he could get the outside clear and empty so it would be safe to do what he was about to do next.
" Don't worry, it's just me, I've come to apologize for the way my lord acted, but also I have something to ask of you, also I come in peace, if I meant harm I'd have my keyblade out by now."

 

The green uniforms got out of the way, still aiming their weapons. The red uniformed stood between Nathaniael and the CEO and wouldn't budge "Speak" The CEO said.

 

" I have a proposition, say if the old man emperor was to have I don't know a accident of some sort. What power would that give me . . ? I mean it seems I'm more qualified for the job obviously but if I fell the blade myself, they would blame me in a instant. . . if the emperor suddenly winded up in his death bed for some "accident" what would be in it for you?"
Nathaniel said with a smirk.

 

"Killing a student who is like a son to me is what is in it for me" The CEO said.

 

" If you truly love him then why do you refuse his love he gives in return? Hmm, if you truely loved him, you would of killed me right now."
Nathaniel said pacing back and forth.
" Plus that man has been alive for too long and because of him, peace might remain here for another hundred years, and to me that is truly boring . . . but if what would in exchange would make you agree to these terms?"

 

"I am neutral, get it threw your head, besides any deal we make I'm sure you would just end up breaking it" the CEO said "Besides I have been around alot longer then he has, or anyone else for that matter so pick your words carefully"

 

" I won't break it, anyways I will make sure my nation and yours will stay far apart from eachother, anyways I'm not stupid, I know quite well what will you do if I do manage not to keep my word. If only I knew what you wanted, I could make this work, but eh, your loss."
Nathaniel said about to walk away.

 

"Touch the girl again, and you die" The CEO said suddenly moving and stabbing Nathaenil, he and his guard started moving back towards the building they had just come from.

 

Nathaniel made a move to block him, quickly pulling out his keyblade and stopping him.
" Oh so, what does that girl mean to you? That Mindell girl huh?"

 

"I said don't touch her again" The CEO said, the CEO and his guards disappered and a massive gash across Nathaenils chest appeared.

 

" Yeah I get you, I won't touch her, a rather small price to pay."
He said with a smile as he fell to his knees while leaning on his keyblade, making it look like he was in a terrible battle as servants began fleeing from the building.

Back inside Phisoxa heard shouts and screams of terror as some servants fled. She ran out of the dining room and into the main hallway.
" What is going on? Damn, the emperor."
She said sprinting down the hall towards the room where she heard the most commotion in the library the Emperor had been cornered.
"Leave him alone !!"
She said pulling a keyblade.

 

The two red uniforms pulled out ultima keyblades and charged Phisoxa while the green uniforms scared off everyone else with false attacks.

 

Gexln swallowed the last portion of his meal. He then looked at the man. "Any chance you could take me to see the others?" he asked.

 

"So, that's mostly what you do for a knight?" he asked the girl next to him, finishing up his meal "Yes, but it takes a lot of effort." she said, her eyes sparkling. Suddenly the screams and shouts made them both jump. "Gotta go!" he said, lifting from his chair and running out the dinner hall.
Mike sighed as he ran down the hall, Hunh. Well that was fun for..2 seconds maybe. he thought, finding the library and running in. "Oh..probably would've been smart to have my keyblade.." he muttered, summoning his keyblade and running toward one of the red uniforms.
