The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

"Never heard of either of them. Then again...i didn't know very many people there at all" Gexln replied,a hint of sadness in his voice.

 

" What do you mean? If you came from the Academy you must of known someone there?"
He asked as the meal was delivered, it was baked chicken, veggies, and french bread.

 

"Well not really....i only really knew the masters and teachers" Gexln said as he began to eat.

 

"Thank you" Mixt said as Rould handed him the clothes. Mixt entered a side room to change. As he put on his new clothes he thought to himself 'So there is more to Phisoxa than what I see. very interesting. What are the odds that we would meet, even so breifly, just before the storm hit? Maybe there is something to Rould's theory that this is fate. No, preposterous. It is just a coincidence' When Mixt was done changing he stretched himself out some. The clothes were not a perfect fit, but did fit surprisingly well for hand-me-downs. Still Mixt was not one for close enough. Using a bit of blood from under his bandages, Mixt drew a transmutation circle on the hardwood floor. Stepping into hit he triggered it and the clothes around him began to adjust in size until it was a perfect fit. With the additional cloth he made a handkerchief that he used to wipe up the blood on the floor. Placing the handkerchief in his breast pocket (bloodied end concealed). With everything in order Mixt then stepped back out to rejoin Rould and the old man.

" Good, we are ready I guess."
Rould said as he and nameless old man wandered out of the room,leading Mixt towards the dining chamber. The doors opened for Rould and the two others, leading them into a large room, with tan a marble floor and a high ceiling that hung from it a large chandelier and on the ceiling was paintings telling the stories of the old council and the emperor on their treks long ago. Instead of a long table that would normally be found here there was a large round table with a empty space cut out into the middle. Most of the council were already seated as well as a bunch of politicians and nobles who sat close to the emperor who sat on the farside away from the door as Lord Nathaniel, the lead member in the council sat a across from him on the otherside. He then motioned for Rould and his guests to sit on the left side of him while a few of the more higher ranked council members sat on his right. There were three seats left open still farther down from where Rould, the old man, and Mixt were assigned to sit. It seemed Phisoxa and the other two she was with were still busy getting ready, so everyone in the room seemed busy talknig.

 

"Come along then, for crying out-" he sated saying but stopped himself as he let her get finished and led her to the dinning room.

A young man in a purple uniform entered the room, he was followed by two people in dark red uniforms. Behind them were tweleve people in dark green uniforms. The man in the purple uniform looked a lot like Robbie except he had an eye patch over one eye and had a more sinister look in his eye.

" Fine, hold your horses !!!"
She said coming out of the room wearing a velvety dark emerald green light weight dress.
" It was the only thing I could find that fits without falling off, there is hardly no girls here so not many outfits. So I had to wear the dress of some council member's mother. . ."
Phisoxa said following him to to the dining hall.

 

"Hey, I'm not complaining, its better then the school uniform" he mumbled as they went to the dinning room.

The man looked at the people sitting down, expecting one of them to give up their seat seeing as they had pratically ordered him to come, not that he wasn't going to.

 

Mixt took his seat and looked around the table. The table concept itself was intriguing. There was the cliched "everyone's equal" piece that was learned about in world culture classes at the academy (though it was immediately obvious that it was not the case as your seat in relation to the emperor spoke volumes). What Mixt found more interesting was the logistics. By removing the center of the table you make the table itself less overpowering and make a nice stage type area for all the speeches that doubtlessly take place in this room. He also attempted to remember as many faces as he could. The years of alchemy training had taught him to take in information like a sponge.

 

The Emperor looked up seeing man come in. He smiled and snapped his fingers as suddenly the floor under their chairs shifted, the segment of the floor the table was sitting on was actually moving and suddenly the table actually began enlarging enough that the people seated across from one enough came more distant from eachother as the table unhinged and unlocked, revealing more panels of wood that added on. The machine then came to a stop with one loud lock of a gear and table now had more room. The was room for a few more seats next to where Phisoxa, Dante, and Mike were to sit as servants brought more chairs over for the newcomers. Phisoxa sat down in the seat that a card with her name on it on the back of the chair and watched as Mike and Dante went to their seats. Phisoxa was sitting next to a middle aged politician who seemed to enjoy his wine too much.

 

The man in purple uniform sat down next to the politican near Phisoxa. He didn't eat, talk or even move, he just sat there like a statue. On the mans other side was Mixt.

 

When Mike and Dante seated themselves next to Phisoxa she stared at the strange man, she felt the strange feeling she had gotten from that man back at the school from this man except it was slightly a bit different. Phisoxa adjusted her velvet green sleeves that hung low so that they wouldn't get in the way of her hands as the Emperor cleared his throat.
" I welcome you all honored guests to my home, not only my home, but the home of my knights as well. I am glad you all made it just in time, the incident at the school was a tremendous blow indeed and we have lost many young men and women as well as keyblade masters. Pretty soon I fear war may interrupt our long time period of peace."

 

The man that looked like Robbie still didn't move, hos expression was that of bordoem.

 

Phisoxa noticed the expression of the man as servants in the background brought out the appetizers and wheel them into the center of the gap in the table on a smaller wooden platform that fit right into the middle stage. Phisoxa's eyes then drifted off to Mixt since she recognized him immediately as the man she fought back at the school, for some reason she knew he would survive somehow and then her eyes wandered over to the men seated next to him. It didn't take long to spot the oldman. Her heart stopped as her eyes widen. She felt as if she couldn't breath as memories of bloodshed and betrayal whizzed through her mind, she snapped out of it when the wine happy politician tried to kiss her hand since he was a drunk and couldn't control himself, but Phisoxa pulled her hand out and sunk back into her chair, as the old man near mixt eyed her almost bullying her with his presence.The Emperor continued to speak, not noticing the tension in the room. It seemed to be a murmur to Phisoxa when he talked, she seemed so afraid that she was frozen. The Emperor spoke about plans in the future, new programs that should be put into action, preparations and other projects given to some of the politicians, Phisoxa was back to earth when she heard the Emperor ask something of the CEO of something or somewhat about the terms of making closer connections with some company called tohemi.

 

"It would be difficult, many of our people came to us because of our distant relationship with your people. Many of them would be unhappy if we came closer or formed an alliance. Everyone member of my escourt even has a strong dislike for your people. So I would not advise closing the gap between our two people" the man said, as if bored of this whole thing.

 

" Then it's settled, consider the tohemi company and us allies now, we will assist you in any means necessary, especially with this war coming up, we would be the most inseparable of allies, no lies either, but how about you, what do you expect to gain from it? If you need anything asked of me, don't hesitate to ask."
Phisoxa ate sparingly as people around her talked, she was afraid and at the same time still very hungry after not eating for a entire day. She struggled to eat though as she kept her eyes down at the counter of the table below her, when she looked up the oldman had turned to talk to a politician nearby, giving Phisoxa a bit of relief as her eyes wandered around the table and they came to a stop to look at the knight that had been stationed in the throne room earlier whom she now assumed to be Lord Nathaniel by his physical features. The knight looked up from his dinner to stare at Phisoxa again with that same look he had given her earlier as he spoke to the emperor and some of his knights.

 

The man facepalmed at hearing the emperor's response, he had ignored him. "Ah man, I told you no!" he shouted across the whole room, silencing it "My people do not want to be your allies, we are neutral in all conflicts!" he said angerly. His guard filled the room, alarmed by his raised voice.

 

Phisoxa looked up alarmed when she heard the rise of voices and looked around, seeing the men file to the room, was there a attack about to take place? She thought as sat up in her seat. The knights who were seated around the table, seemed to be on alert, ready to draw their weapons at any time.
" I apologize I thought you meant different I didn't know you were being serious."
The emperor said, seeming confused.

 

"My people live with us because we do not see light as good, nor do we see darkness as evil, they just exist. As do we, we build. This is how much my people distrust you, just raising my voice and they are ready to kill you all" the man said looking over the room, he then pointed at the Emperor "I taugh you to take your role seriously, if you act like this then eventually you will be betrayed" the man said pushing his seat out and heading to the exit, his men slowly followed, ready to attack if they were followed.
