The Keyblade War: the Awakening of a Solemn Melody

"I can fix that" Robbie said looking down at the destroyed scenery around them. He kneeled down and touched the ground with his finger causing everything to repair itself, or more go back to its previous state before the fight. "There, now, out of you three which is the strongest?" he asked looking over the group he had come across.

"Its Dante" the noble said to Phisoxa.

 

Mixt made his way to the palace. He was about to explain his situation to the clerk in the reception area but was cut off. "Refugee of the Academy of Light? Please wait here a moment." And before Mixt could respond she went through a door behind the desk.

'Talk about bad security. I walk in here with bandages and they let me in without even a word. Is this that important?' The girl came back through her door and sat down at her desk followed by a man entering through a door to his left seconds later.

"Follow me" he said quickly before turning and going back in. Mixt obeyed and went with his escort through the palace. Mixt looked around, playing the role of the awe inspired tourist but was in fact drinking in every detail in case he ever needed to return.

 

" Oh . .. your that Dante Mundvoi guy,oh I see, the dinner is going to start in a few minutes, can't we hurry get dressed ?"
Strangely Phisoxa wasn't surprised by who he revealed himself to be. Unlike most girls who'd probably have a sudden urge to squee or admire the man the entire trip, Phisoxa seemed uninterested or disconnected from the fact that he was handsome. It was strange she completely ignored his charm after all.

Suddenly a couple of men started walking down the same hallway Mixt and his escort were. It appeared to be Rould and his elderly companion from the Hospitial earlier. When Rould saw Mixt, he stopped the escort he was with him and dimissed the escort so that Mixt could be shown around by Rould instead.
" So I see that you made a safe recovery, that is good, and just in time for dinner."
He said with a smile as the elderly man with pointed ears looked him over as if were a scientist observing perhaps a new able bodied specimen.

 

"It would appear so" Mixt responded to Rould but his eyes were on the old man. He didn't like the way that the man was watching him and was trying to figure out his true intentions. The two of them were rather strange people for their surroundings as proven at the hospital. They were obviously interested in him because of the darkness that others seemed oblivious to, but what did they have in mind? Mixt wanted to ask them questions but this was obviously not the place for such a discussion. In places like this the walls have ears. And in this case the head those ears are attached to happen to be rather paranoid about such subject matter. Especially now after the attack.

 

" Hmm, well that tattered schoolboy outfit thats been ravaged by the effects of the dark storm won't do, we simply must have you changed before dinner. I think my son Athiol might have something that would fit you better then clothes tailored to my frail frame."
Rould said leading them down the hallway till he came to a crossroads in the hallway route of the palace. Three other people were making their way to the opposite side of the castle. A tall and handsome nobleman and two students whose school uniforms looked as tattered as Mixt's from running through the forest at night. Rould and the nameless old man stopped to allow the group to pass while Rould chivalrously saluted the young woman who was in the group who actually turned out to be Phisoxa. Phisoxa and one other boy had made it out but they seemed not be as beat up looking as Mixt appeared, they seemed fine, except for the fact Phisoxa's uniform did have a bloody stain on the front and there were bruise marks around her frail neck. It appeared she had been in a tussle with someone who'd had their hands around her neck at one point. Phisoxa barely seemed to noticed Rould , Mixt, and the other man as the group walked through, she seemed busy speaking with the Noble they were with. Soon the group left out of sight and Rould continued forward. The old man finally spoke after remaining so silent.
" Did you see that, looks like her loving master put up a fight before he went. I'm surprised he didn't go through with it, also I don't understand why she allowed him to attack her so easily like that, she wouldn't be in such a condition if she hadn't cared so much for the old oaf. That's my sister for you, very simple minded like father was."
Even though the old man spoke so lightly and heartlessly, Rould only gave a chuckle in response.
" Now, don't be too harsh on the young lady, it's a surprise she even survived. I was about to go down there myself and finish him off if he posed a threat to destroying my plans. But I decided to stay here and keep Nathaniel busy, hoping that she proved how worthy she was on her own."

 

OOC: Oh crap i just realized i have no idea where any of you ARE in the new world lol
IC: Gexln awoke. He stood up,slightly shaky and holding his head. He had a slight headache. "Urgh...what happened? One moment i was sitting at the Academy..the next i wind up here? And where IS here?" he asked. "What happened to everyone else?" he asked, thinking out loud. He couldn't see many people around him. He stared up at the sky. "WHERE AM I?!" he yelled out as a desperate plea for help.

 

A young man nearby walked over to him and looked him over thinking that there was something weird about him. The man wore an armored suit and he had blond messing hair and blue eyes.
" Oh you must be one of them, your late for the meeting but, you can just have dinner with me till they open castle back up, they won't let me in since I'm on patrol duty."

 

"Uh...thanks i guess? Who exactly is one of 'them' though?" Gexln questioned.

 

" Oh a survivor from the Academy son, you see not many survived that incident, but for those few survivors we have been stationed to keep an eye out for any that might drop in suddenly."
The man said, brushing his blond hair out of his eyes.

 

Gexln was shocked. "N-not many survivors?! But..no..that can't be right.." Gexln said. He hadn't had any friends at The Academy, but he still felt saddened by their deaths all the same.

 

" I'm sorry I thought you knew what had be fallen your school by now. The darkstorm attacked during the night when most of them were still in their beds, not a single master has shown up by now so we assume they have all fallen protecting the youth still trapped inside. But even with hearts strong as theirs they should have been able to survive, yet none have been found, strange happenings eh."
The man said walking away and gesturing for him to follow.

 

Gexln hurried along, following the man. "They died protecting us...they'll show up somewhere. They've got to" Gexln said, reassuring himself.
OOC: See, despite him being a Nobody he has convinced himself that he CAN feel

 

" Hopefully, maybe they are just stuck on another world or something and they are trying to make it here, who knows."
The crowds seemed to have thinned by now since they probably all went their seperate ways to depart to their homes, their bars, anywhere as long as it was off the street. Strange things were happening lately so it was safe to try and be somewhere instead of being alone on the streets when night falls. The man lead him to a outdoor cafe on the side of the street, where he sat down at one of the tables.

 

Gexln sat down. His stomach growled, as he hadn't eaten in quite a long time. "Uh..what is there to eat in this place?" he asked.

 

" Just normal food you would find at a tradiontial homedinner. Nothing too exotic."
He said as the doors open and a small plump looking catlike creature with tiny purple wings and a big red nose flew out with a couple of menus. When it spoke, or at least tried to it made a sound similiar to the air being squeezed out of a rubber duckie or a dog's chew toy.
" Choose whatever you wish, my wallet is far from empty. Kupo, you already know what I want, the usual, but I'm afraid we need another minute for him to decide."

 

"I'll let him pick. I really have no idea what i want" Gexln replied. Don't really know what tastes good anyway... he thought to himself.

 

"Mixt looked quizically at the old man. Excuse me. Did you just call Phisoxa your sister?" This was obviously not the only question Mixt had, but he figured it was best to ease into the heavy stuff. These two were obviously in a leuge outside of his own. He wasn't sure he could take on one of them as things were now, much less both. But as long as he wasn't being stupid he doubted it would come to that.

 

The blond man smiled and handed the menus back to the small critter.
" The usual for him as well."
He said as the moogle took the menu in it's tiny paws and flew off clumsy.

" Why yes I did say that, we may seem rather distant in age appearance, but I'm not telling you so quickly on how it happened, not when so many open doors are around. As you can see, that girl she is involved in more things then she knows, she is involved in plans of one man, perhaps soon to be two men soon if that certain young man comes sniffing around in our turf which I know he will." The old man said as Rould lead them to his son's quarters and opened the door. He then reached into wardrobe and pulled out a clean pair of dark brown trousers and a tan button up long sleeved shirt.
" This ought to do."

 

Gexln waited patiently for the meal. "So,how many others have you found so far?" he asked.

 

" We found a young woman with the last name Mindell, a man by the name of Mixt, and another boy by the name of Mike I think that is all that showed up so far."
The man said combing his fingers through his hair.
