"just leave me to die" Drake said slowly opening his eyes. You could tell he was stuggling to stay awake

 

Robie: Go get Seth.
Robbie jumped in the pilot seat.
Robbie: I won't let you die.
A radar on the ship started to beep. A light armada was coming towards them.

Crystal looked at him, "Thank you so much." she said as she took off down the hall.

Shira nodded, "No i am to heal you first,"she said knelting down beside Drake, and setting Seth down, "I already got him."

 

Torxber went back to his bed a laid down.
Torxber: Great, another Mindell.

The ship took of at a high speed. The armada started to shoot at them. The ship dodged the fire by inchs.

 

In the meeting room the Mafia had completed signing the agreement with the Tohemi people and were now shaking hands to seal off their deal.

Steel Rose:" It's been a pleasure joining forces with you, a lot lately the White Kingdom have been hauling some of our members if they are captured and been labeling them as nothing but traitors, then throwing them in the Imperial space or just killing them in crossfire ."
He said putting out his cigarette in the metal ashtray on the table top.
Steel Rose:" It's been hard on us all since they were quite good friends to us."
Dante seemed restless and wanted to leave the room obviously by him continuously staring off into space.
Steel Rose:" You know you can go off and have some fun you know, you are more an old friend to me, it's not like you are a captive or anything like that and I won't consider you one unless you try to run away."

Dante stood up and stretched, without another word he left the room and walked down the passageways not paying attention to the mix of Tohemi and Mafia members wandering the halls, Dante was much taller then most of them and the tiptop of his head could be seen moving across the crowds. He came to the more less active part of the ship and found the ship eatery where two people were talking by themselves. Dante entered and came up next to their table and came to a sudden realization, it was Phisoxa who was one of the people, she merely stared up at him standing in the dark but then he drew closer, bringing his face into the light.
Phisoxa:" And of all places the last place I would expect you would be on this ship."
Dante:" The Mafia decided to bring me along anyways, so it's not like have a choice."
He said sitting down at the far end of the table, locking his hands together in front of him.For some reason he was feeling the need to be close to her but Dante still kept his distance, knowing all too well it was just the X-blade's calls and if he ignored them he would be fine.
Dante then grabbed for her hand and held it in his, he then pulled her aside so he could talk to her in private, he whispered to her.

Dante:" Phisoxa you must listen to me, you must avoid being seduced by the people you least expect, I can't stand seeing you falling into their grasp so easily. You always said that you always lived for freedom and that's only thing you cared about, but this is not doing you good at all. Whoever has you under their power upon this ship will make sure to keep me under check, since I'm the most likely person to try and warn you. I can feel a strong force chaining you down."
Phisoxa:" Want do you mean by that?"
Dante:" What I mean is watch out, don't take any affection these people try to pose against you too seriously."

 

More people started to enter the eatery. Most of them where Tohemi crew members. A young girl with short red hair sat across from dace and started to talk to him, Dace offered Phisoxa and Dante a seat.

Captain: Mr Steel, our commander is in the captains quarters, if you wish to see him you would be more then welcome.

 

Dante continued to whisper to Phisoxa away from group.
Dante:" Just watch out for yourself please, I know you are destined to die Phisoxa . . . but at least when I tell your children when they are older that you died honorably in battle and not because of the lead ons of another man."
He said turning away from her and walking towards the table and sitting down at it with the other people, he watched Phisoxa with a troubled look on her face, but Phisoxa sat down at the table anyways.

Steel Rose smiled and straightened his trench coat.
Steel Rose:" It's probably best to talk to him when hes not so weak and tired, plus I wouldn't want to make him cranky with one of speeches."

 

Dace: So Phisoxa, who is this guy?
He was looking at Dante with suspicion.

Captain: I don't think the captain would care, besides, he sent a message before you arrived to see him asap.

 

Phisoxa:" Well this man is just another friend of mine, but hes not in anyway in a relationship with me just to confirm it to you people so you start spreading rumors about me."
Phisoxa poured Dante a mug of coffee and sat it down in front of him.
Dante:" My name is Dante for a fact, I arrived here not too long ago with the Mafia. I'm what you would call her ex."

Steel Rose:" Alright then I shall head down there right now, now take care and make sure the holders of the key halves don't go get themselves in to trouble, the Mafia is already weakened and exhausted as it is from traveling so far to get away from the Light Armada that chased us down not stop over the past few days, so I don't expect to be babysitting them myself."
He said as he left the room, walking down the hallway towards Torxber's room, he stopped in front of it and knocked on the door politely, waiting for him to be allowed to enter.

 

Dace: Dante?
The girl coughed something up at hearing his name.
Girl: Sorry. But you just said Dante right? As in Dante the go- I mean the person who is said to know everyones Fates?
Dace: Mia, shut it.
Mia: No

Torxber: Come on in.
Torxber laid down on the bed exahusted.

 

Dante looked over at the two with a displeased look on his face as they almost spilled the truth of Dante's true identity. He sipped at his coffee and set it down with a loud thud, closing his eyes.
Dante:" Indeed I am who I am, but you see that in this state I'm nothing but human in comparison, this shell I'm trapped within, but I choose so in order to help out as much as I can, as you can see, once the enchantment has worn off and my human form expires, I will have to immediately report to him."
Phisoxa wandered off to go fetch some of the soup she had made earlier that was still simmering to keep warm on the stove for the others and came back.

Steel Rose came and stood next to his bed extending a friendly hand to the man.
Steel Rose:" And so how do things go? I see you have managed to capture the key holder herself."

 

Dace watched Phisoxa get up and when she was out hearing range he looked back at Dante:
Dace: Ok, grandad, We know who you are, if you don't want Grandma to know, do as we say and everything will be alright ok.
Mia: Dace.
Dace: Shut up Mia. You understand Dante?

Torxber: The key is of no interest to me.
He shoock Steels hand.
Torxber: So why don't you tell me the real reason for this alliance?

 

Steel Rose sat down on a chair in the room and crossed his legs.
Steel Rose:" Then why would you seek a reason to try so hard to keep her at your side at all times? If she isn't so valuble to you, why didn't you just allow Nathaniel to marry off with her recently? Is there something I don't know about her? And no, the reason why I prefer to sign this treaty with you is for the same reason I keep informing you people about, we can't keep the key halves safe enough without allowing ourselves to be completely wiped out by the White Kingdom fleet since they are already after them."
He said leaning in the chair.

Dante:" As long as you do go spilling critical information I will let it slide for now, but next time expect a beating from me. Because the woman is in a critical state as of now."

 

Torxber: the key is of no use to me. Her memory is, it shows the place to where the dark stone is, and with it I can awaken the ogddes of life and light. I already have the dark stone. So, you can't do this on your own? I expected more from you Steel. You did brag years ago that you didn't need my help. What happened?

Dace: A beating against me? You must have lost it being stuck in a shell like that. Robbie would kill you in an instant if you touched me and you know he has that power.

 

Steel:" Well you see, things have been getting a little harder for us, not too long ago our group's efforts to bring peace and end the Council's rule was going along smoothly, but as this war started up, Nathaniel has grown more desperate, obviously because he wants the blade for himself and nobody else, but he's using us as nothing but a rug to beat senseless when he wants somebody to blame for White Kingdom's mishaps and faults. He has captured many of us and locked us up for false crimes, weakening our numbers. Most of the people that were captured were skilled and more experienced members, but now I am stuck with mostly new comers amongst my forces, who barely know how to aim and gun and shoot when told.

Like I said I could of protected them easily if it wasn't for all these problems hitting us currently."


Dante:" And I won't allow him to kill me off either. He knows it's best to respect his elders you know, especially those who are related to him. And don't think I'm that weak just because I'm older, I can teach that young pup a few tricks that would really send him running for the hills.."
He said taking another sip of his coffee.

 

Torxber: A real good leader can adapt to any situation no matter what his forces are. I thoug I taght you that once.

dace: Then what about the Black Phantom? Do you think you can take on the god of total destruction?

 

Dante:" Damn it I forgot about that, damn him and all his extra powers, letting the older man have a unfair advantage. Oh how I want to give him a piece of my mind."
He said taking another sip as Phisoxa sat down next to them, wondering what on earth they were talking about. And wondering what Dante ment by old man, he didn't appear or ever appear to be aged at all, he always seemed to be young and handsome.

Steel Rose:" To tell you the truth, my heart has been acting rather cowardly lately in my opinion. It hungers to commit events so desperate that it will allow lives of my men to be spent while doing so. I hunger for power you see and my spouts of anger seem to come along with it. Do you think I'm leaning a little to far into the darkness?"

 

Torxber: You ahve to remember that we all have darkness in us. And we all have light. Just because you are desperate and considering doing something wrong dosen't make you instant evil and dweller of darkness. It just means that you are listening to the energies around you.

Dace: yeah give him a p-
dace stopped as Phisoxa sat down.
Dace: Hey Phisoxa, do you know that this Dante reminds me alot of my Grandfather.
Mia stood on Daces foot.
Dace: Ow, ok I get it.

 

Phisoxa looked over at Dante and observed him for a moment and turned back to Dace.
Phisoxa:" Is your grandfather really good-looking and rather a pain in the neck at the same time? Then maybe I would agree as well.
Dante:" Hay Phisoxa don't go calling me a pain in the neck, your the younger one here in the comparison, you act like nothing else but a mere teenager."
Phisoxa:" Says the guy who can't be without female company for more then a couple of days and not go completely insane."

Steel Rose:" Several times I considered capturing the girl for my own use to unlock the X-blade and bring a revenge upon the council, but then as I thought about that I knew that the intention of it wasn't any better then how Nathaniel would want to respond."

 

Torxber: Then I don't think your going into darkness. You resisted the temptation of darkness and went with a different path. But I wonder, what is it that really bothers you that you would come and seek my aid? Is it the light cannon. A cannon so powerful that it destroys everything on the surface of a world and leaves it unlivible ofr many years?

Dace: She reminds me of grandma.
Mia stood on Daces foot again.
Dace: I gets it. Oh, Phisoxa, Dante, this is my little sister Mia.
Mia didn't look at them, she looked about fourteen years old. She just looked straight ahead of her and Drank the drink she had in her hands.
