Drake smiled and wiped the tears off her face and kissed her forhead "I hate to see you cry. You quit as a knight. You should be relaxed and have no worries" Drake said

 

Ansem the wise:" Well I am not sure, nothing has happened to the holder of the X Blade has it? Maybe the X Blade is getting much stronger, it's trying to call the keys towards it, the blade is connecting with her heart, trying to communicate with her."
He said looking at the child with a worrisome look.

 

Keith let out a sigh, "This is exactly what i feared to happen, she won't awake till she is close to the others, that means Dante and Phisoxa, or until the X-blade awakes." he said as he looked out the window noticing one of the mafia walking close to where they were. "seems we have company."

Shira tried to smiled but more tears ran down her cheeks,"i can't help it, i lost many friends that day," she looked over at Drake, "I still have worries, and thats mostly about you, will you be alright, you fight the dark everyday, who am i to know if you'll make it home." she said with dread.

 

Ansem the Wise:" I see , well me must try and keep her away from the other half of the key, to keep her safe. Dante is in the Gardens you know, so since Crystal is asleep, that might attract him."
Meanwhile. . .
Dante eyes suddenly glowed a magnificent blue for a few minutes and stood up, looking around.
Dante:" Hold on Steel, I'm going to go check something out."
Steel:" Don't get yourself lost."
Dante nodded and smiled, slipping his hands into his pockets and he took off down the path towards Ansem's Castle till he came up from behind the Mafia.

 

The smile on Drake's face disappeared and he immediately hugged her tightly rubbing her back "please don't cry. They wouldn't want you to be upset about their death" Drake said trying to comfort her as much as possible

 

Ace turned around in fright as a tall figure loomed over him, "Dante? What are you doing sneaking up on me like that?" he asked. "Nevermind, anyways i'm trying to get the other half of the key," he said pointing to a window in the castle. Keith looked out the window again seeing Dante," there is something different about him" he thought as he turned to Ansem, "It's not going to be easy, it seems Dante is already outside, i'll take Crystal and leave to somewhere else in the castle, i don't want the two to get hurt, " he said looking over at the twins as they played happily, Keith hoisted the girl onto his back and looked over at Ansem.

Shira nodded and wiped her eyes,"I know, it just that was one of my most dreaded memories,don't think you suffered seeing them die alone" she said as she looked up at him.

 

Drake looked down at her and smiled "of course not. We both struggle a great deal but the thing I was happy about was that you were still alive" Drake said

 

Ansem the Wise:" Hurry because I need to try and seal all entrances before they try to smash their way in and knowing how strong Dante is, he won't have trouble smashing through a steel door."
He said gesturing for the man to leave quickly.

 

Keith nodded and stopped, "Thank you Ansem, till next time." he said running out the door till he was near the secret exit. Ace was trying to wedge open the front entrance but was having no luck, "This stupid door won't open." he said trying to pull it with all his strength.

Shira smiled,"Yeah thats one thing i'm grateful for, that we came to save you." she said as she looked over at the palace.

 

Ansem nodded and pressed the button on the control panel in his room and a alarm sounded, surrounding all the doors that were on the outside of the castle with walls of steel. Dante simply smiled and walked by Ace and pushed him aside with his hand.
Dante:" Step aside young pup."
He said as he held out palm up to the large door and a ball of energy eminated from it and surrounded the door and in minutes the door exploded, smashing it to pieces, and through the cloud of debris he saw Keith running down the hallway.
Dante:" There he is !!"

 

"So did you find what you were looking for at the City of Light?" Mixt asked after all the last time he saw her she was running down a hallway desperately looking for something while people were after her.

 

Phisoxa:" Oh yeah that thing, I found it, but I don't even know what it is, or if it's even safe to open the box, I just sensed it was the thing I needed. Now where is it? I must of dropped while Torxber was busy messing with me."
She said and walked over to the wall behind them and found the box on the ground and picked it up.
Phisoxa:" Here it is, theres some kind of magic seal on it, so it's giving me a hard time trying to open it."
She said bringing it over to him.

 

Drake looked over at the castle and then let go of Shira "cast aside all your worries. I want you to enjoy yourself" Drake said kissing her forhead and turned back to the castle getting ready to depart

 

Keith heard Dante's voice and ran faster, he disappeared behind the corner, Ace followed after him when he came to the corner he stood in shock,"Dante, hes gone," he said confused as he looked around.

Shira nodded , hugged him ,and walked out to the feild Seth was in, "I'll try, " she called out as she told Seth to say goodbye to dad for now.

 

Dante:" Damn hes somewhere around here, I can still sense the girl's heart, search the corridor for him."
He said looking around for Keith, he held a ball of energy in his hand.
Dante:" Don't think you can hide from me."

 

"So that's what it was... I had thought I sensed an aura here similar to one in the City of Light." Mixt examined the box while Phisoxa was holding it. "Must be either a strong seal or a fresh one. Otherwise the energy from whatever is inside would of caused the seal decay."

 

Seth ran up to his father ang hugged him "make sure to beat up the bad guys" Seth said

Drake smiled as he hugged Seth "I will" Drake said as he let go and looked at the castle "I'll be back soon" Drake said and began to run towards the castle

 

Phisoxa:" Knowing Nathaniel he is probably the one who wanted it sealed and sealed it himself. Whatever is in here, it must be very important because obviously Nathaniel doesn't want anybody to see it."
She stroking the lid of the box with her hand.

 

Ace quickly searched each corridor and came back shaking his head, "I didn't find anything, not a clue Dante, " he said sighing as he looked up, and noticed something, "Dante look!!" he said pointing to a small door in the ceiling of the hallway, "You think he climbed up there?"

Shira nodded and waved as Drake ran to the castle.

 

Dante:" Yeah I think so, but knowing this castle as I always have, that door leads to a dead end, the attic it leads to."
He said smiling as he sent another rush of energy flying at the door and smashed it open and jumped into it and looked around in the dark room, he could sense Keith was in there, because he could sense Crystal. Dante's eyes glowed a chilling blue in the dark.
Dante:" I know you are in here."
