Seth ran out of the gummi ship and looked around the area in awe. This was the very first time he was in a different world and was very excited

Drake yawned "man that was a pretty long ride" Drake said lazily and looked over at Shira with a smile "you must be pretty tired driving all that way" Drake said

 

Phisoxa looked up from her defeated state looking up at Zei with a afraid look in her eyes, but she didn't even attempt to run. Phisoxa clutched at her head and tried gain back her own control. When she saw Zei trying to help her out, it brought her self back into reality. She must be a human with the same freedoms as others, to have one trying to save her.
Phisoxa:" This is my heart, X Blade, I don't give a damn how badly you want to be born. As long as it doesn't cost my sanity and my dignity, I'm fine. But I'm not going to allow myself to be dragged in and walked over by people anymore. What is happening to me right now, is worse then just dying."
She stood up and brushed herself off.
Phisoxa:" Thank you Zei, for helping me gain control. . ."

 

Shira smiled and looked up from the pilot's seat, stood up and stretched her arms, she nodded, "Yeah its kinda stressful when your husband collaspes on the floor, and you don't even get to know if hes alright or not, " she said as she looked over at Seth, "He seems excited."

Keith sighed as he walked over close to where Ansem the wise was, Crystal was still on his back and he looked back grinning, seeing the group of Mafia he tied up as they tried to walked all together and fell over, Ace stood up dazed and noticed his gun had been broken, "What happened,"

 

Ansem the Wise looked at Keith and then over at the Mafia, swiping up the two children in his arms, he had a bad feeling that this place wasn't safe anymore, since guns and blades were being drawn.
Ansem:" Excuse me kind sirs, would you mind taking your fight someplace else away from these kids, it's not right to do it so close to them. They might get hurt."

 

"well this is his first time out of the city of light. He should be excited" Drake said and looked over at Shira "heheh and sorry I fell asleep lik. I was very tired" Drake said

 

"Yeah," she listened and looked over at Seth and crossed her arms, "You weren't tired... you were thinking about that day again, i heard you when i was piloting the ship, you were yelling and saying how it was your fault they died, then you passed out." she said as she looked over outside.

Keith looked over at Ansem the wise,then over at Dante and SteelRose, "Why don't we talk somewhere else about this "situation, " we seem to have," he said staring at them.

 

"oh....so you know" Drake said closing his eyes "I shouldnt have yelled that and passed out like that. How weak of me" Drake said

 

Ansem the Wise:" Indeed let us hurry to my home, we must hurry so they can't find us and follow us back."
He said gesturing towards Keith as he ran down the road that led to his castle.
Back on the rock formation Steel didn't look so happy, his men beaten by a measly man with his hands full with the girl on his back.
Dante:" Looks like you more to worry about now, but if you truly going to allow your men to chase after that man back to Ansem the Wise's castle, then I suggest you leave the twins out of the whole ordeal."
Steel:" Don't worry."

 

Having heard the explosion Mixt rushed over. This wasn't an area he wanted a commotion in. If the war came here someone would recognize him and the Kingdom of Light would enforce their exile. As an alchemist he needed time periods of meditation and study, otherwise he would lose his edge. And the Dark Army would constantly send him into battle had they known where he was.

Moment's later, a still cloaked Mixt found himself standing on a rooftop overlooking the alleyway. It was Torber and Phisoxia again. But this time it looked like they had been fighting. And Torber was fighting someone else. Mixt jumped down into the action but didn't say a word, he simply looked at each of the three of them in turn.

 

Keith nodded and followed Ansem back to the castle, once inside Keith shut the door, and set Crystal down in one of his chairs, she was still sleeping. Keith looked over at Ansem, "Ansem, the mafia, they're after this girl for one reason, she is half of the key to unlocking the X-blade." he said as he dropped the journal Ace had onto his desk, "If you have no idea what this X-blade is i suggest you take a look at this journal."

Shira turned to Drake, "I'm just worried that you still think that whole thing was your fault still Drake, you always take the whole blame for yourself." she said looking over at him.

 

Phisoxa:" What a coincidence, Mixt is here in town as well? Now that's strange. Anyways, so why are you here Mixt?"
She said turning her attention away from Torxber and walking towards Mixt.
Meanwhile. . .
Ansem the Wise:" Ah I see, and I thought the X-Blade was a myth told to young keybearers to help them keep themselves determined. So it is all true is it not?"
He said sitting down at his desk after sitting Moegiro and Nuthura down on the ground, he pulled the book over at him and opened it. Examining the contents.
Ansem the Wise:" So if she is part of a key, that unlocks the X-blade, then who is the X Blade themselves?"

 

"I happen to live here" Mixt said calmly "Why are you guys here? And about as importantly; why is stuff blowing up?"

 

Phisoxa shook her head and smiled.
Phisoxa:" Well if I told you the reason, you would think it's strange. Well I got all emotional and stuff like that and I ran off to here. Only to be chased down by Torxber who almost blew the place up, trying to find me and tried to use affection to keep me from trying to disobey him again, and well. . I almost lost myself back there till Zei came along and broke me out of that state."
She said rubbing the back of her head.

 

"but it was my fault. I could stop him. They all died because of me. The had the chance to escape but they chose to fight and save me. As they all died before me I did absolutly nothing" Drake said

 

"Lost yourself? Like what happened back in the desert?" Mixt asked remembering Phisoxa's last attempt to kill him "By the way Torxber, we are comrades, not tools. If you keep pulling stunts like this I will kill you"

 

Phisoxa:" Naw, I didn't go all crazy like I did back there. My heart almost lost control of me. But anyways that's what I kept trying to tell him, but obviously he thinks he can get away with murder around here. Let's just put it this way, if a boss mistreats their workers, the workers leave. Thats rule 1."
She said smiling.

 

Shira shook her head, "They died at their own choice to save one of their squad members, i even fought to save you, we couldn't leave you, we weren't going to walk out on one of our own."

Keith nodded, "i already know who weilds the X-blade inside of them, and it seems everyone is after her, Crystal's sister, Phisoxa Mindell." he said, "The X-Blade is unlocked when the two people closest to the the barer are joined together, Dante is the second half of the key, this is the reason i never told Phisoxa about her sister, it was safer."

 

"but if I was able to just do something I would have...." Drake started to say but stopped in mid sentence as he realized that the whole event must have been painful for Shira to remember also "never mind about that" Drake said as he put his arm around Shira and looked at her "we should relax" Drake said with a big smile

 

Ansem the Wise:" Well that explains why Lord Nathaniel is doing all these weird things lately. Because Phisoxa Mindell is a member of the Council, from what I heard about her, maybe used that situation at the City of Light to weed out the knights who that were the disloyal and one's who can't possibly be the X-Blade's host. Because from legend the X Blade's host can withstand the dark core with ease, it all makes sense now, but whom of the three establisments will succeed in winning it first? The Dark Realm? The White Kingdom? Or the Steel Mafia?"
He said smiling, folding his fingers as the two twins were busy playing.

 

Shira suddenly put a hand to her eyes noticing she was crying, she wiped her tears, and listened to Drake, "I guess it would be best to relax." she said quietly trying to dry her tears of the memory.

Keith nodded, "Who knows the fate of the three, none.. we'll just have to wait to find out." he said as he turned his attention towards Crystal, "Ansem, i do wonder why is this girl sleeping, she hasn't woken since i found her, is this the work of the X-blade somehow?"
