The Keyblade War: Rewind and press Play

"shes a squire of the white kingdom" Drake said as he walked in and ruffled Crystal's hair "anytime I see her I always worry. I say your too young to be fighting in the battlefield" Drake said

 

Crystal smiled, "i'm learning the ways of the keyblade, i'll be able to defend myself." Crystal said , "To send a child this age into a battlefield.." Shira said thinking it over, "Wait she must be the child Keith brought in from the rescue mission."

 

"yup that what I heard too" Drake said and sighed "to sent a child in battle....they must be desperate" Drake said with a serious look. His mind was deep in thought about something

 

"Its been this chaotic since Nathaniel banished his brother, i mean why would he let this happen?" Shira looked over at Drake, "What is it Drake?" she said seeing the look on his face, Crystal looked up at him.

 

Drake sighed "Its just....no...Its nothin" Drake said calmly

Seth looked up at his father. It was strange seeing his usually happy dad so serious

 

Shira nodded and noticed Crystal shivering, Shira took off her cloak and wrapped it around Crystal, Crystal seemed to be the only one shivering in the group.

 

"is something wrong Crystal? are you sick or something" Drake asked hoping she was alright

 

Crystal smiled, "Its just cold is alll.." Shira smiled, "You should go back on the gummi ship," she said putting a hand on her forehead, "Crystal your ice cold."

 

Drake crossed his arms "As your general Im ordering you to get some rest" Drake said

 

Crystal sighed, "Yes general, sir!" she said as she walked off towards the gummi ship, Shira sighed, "She knows how to follow orders." Shira said smiling.

 

"yeah she works really hard and will become a great knight" Drake said "but she is just too young to be fighting right now....especially at a time like this" Drake said

 

Phisoxa climbed steadily higher and higher up the wiring cable of the elevator shaft, with a small but potent light lighting her way as she went up. She had to find this item whatever it was, if it was in the castle at all, hopefully it wasn't too prized to Nathaniel and he didn't take it along with him.

 

Mixt found his way to a stairwell. His first good fortune of this ordeal. It was for maintenance and so there were pipes running across the walls and there was a large gap in the center of the stairwell as it spiraled upwards in a square formation. Mixt used a pipe on the wall and transmuted it into a large hydrogen balloon (Using metal from the pipe to form the balloon and hydrogen from the the water to fill it) The balloon itself wasn't strong enough to lift Mixt, but it compensated for much of his weight allowing him to scale the center of the stairwell jumping flights at a time.

 

Torxber's three gummi ship's flew out side the knight's council palace. They started to shoot at the palace as they though no one of importance was inside. Several floors of the palace exploded.

A massive corridor of darkness appeared at the bottom of the palace. The corridor started to grow biigger and bigger and consumed everything it touched. The more it consumed the faster it grew.

Torxber opened a door to the elevator shaft, he was several floors above Phisoxa. He looked down to see Phisoxa.
Torxber: Phisoxa, why are you climbing up an elevator shaft?

 

“Damn it! Nothing but static? You’ve got to be effing kidding me!†Cornelius Boroughs, or rather, the possessed body of the former Staff Sergeant, tore off the ungainly helmet, ditching it in the all-consuming desert dunes. He’d been wandering for at least five hours through the unforgiving environment trying to find some smidgen of a signal; but there had been nothing. The City of Light, despite it’s grandeur, couldn’t seem to keep any sort of communications link with their own devices now. “Just what I should have expected, what Xiao should have expected. They’ve been scattered. They’re more a bumbling mess than our guys are lately.†He pressed on in search of some other form of life that might get him out the hellhole he was in. “Forgive me, mistress, if I fail you. Not my fault, really.â€

[Zei stood in the center of the pitch-black room, lone, and bemused by the absence of the Elders. They should be here. They wouldn’t have left, but it seems they have. But then… things must be worse than even they had anticipated… As this thought crossed him, the light within the room came to life, revealing the aged stone workings, grown beyond time, and the seven seats upon which the Elders should have been sitting… they were empty, save for a single scroll upon the seat of Grandmaster Xiang Ai Ning. Worriedly, he approached the seat, to find only that there were no catches, or strings attached. It was in deed just a scroll, and upon it, the Elders had left him a message:

“Zei Je, we know you have traveled a great distance to come and see us. But the time has come for us to depart; it is not for the sake of taunting you, but for the sake of guiding you, so to speak. You’re mission is simple: to maintain the balance between Light and Darkness. This balance is crucial to existence, as we’ve taught you time and again. We will be around again, but only after we’ve found what answers we’re looking for elsewhere. It is likely that you’ll not be seeing us for a while. Best of fortunes to you in your mission.â€]

“I must say that I’m quite perplexed as well, m’lady.†Zei rose through the shaft in quite a lazy manner; it was more of an idle drift upwards than actually flying. He was smiling as well, sort of playfully, as far his expressions went, though it would have seemed to be filled with some small amount of ill-meaning. After a few seconds, he had arrived at Phisoxa’s height, shaking his head in a mocked disapproval. “Why would you be so inclined to climb your way up when you’ve proven yourself so capable of simply wall kicking your way up? Or, dare I ask, would it be a more accommodating if I simply gave a you lift up to your desired floor?†He held out his arms as a holding place for the girl. “I can assure you, you’ll get to wherever t is you’re going much faster this way. And it’s quite safe, if I do say so myself.â€

 

Phisoxa:" Just because I'm a lady doesn't mean I can make my own way up, plus I had little choice on what to do, was either jump onto this line or wait for the lights to go out and then jump and kill myself, you know I can't see in the dark, its pretty dangerous, ehehehe, go ahead and make your ways up, I sense something up there that needs my attention."
She said looking up at Torxber, who stood all the way up there.
Phisoxa:"Was that you that disabled the elevator? Because I don't think you would try anyways, I mean anybody that's a normal strengthened human can get up here with ease, thats not like you to use.... errr claw marks that tear through steel."
She said, using her speed to reach the top of the shaft and entering the opening where Torxber was, she entered the dark hall.

 

"I'm going back to the ship to take care of her." she said as she walked toward the gummi ship.

meanwhile...

a man in a silver cloak walked out of the shadows and smiled at Phisoxa, he seemed to be alone, "Well hello there miss," he said smiling.

 

"there is somthing I want to talk to you about right now" Drake said looking serious. "I didn't want Crystal to hear this" Drake said

 

Shira looked over at Drake as she stopped walking towards the ship and looked over at Drake, with a worried expression.

 

Drake looked at the ground as if he was ashamed of something "Im starting to think that the knight's council is becoming corrupt.....or maybe it already has become corrupt" Drake said
