The Keyblade War: Rewind and press Play

Phisoxa's eyes stopped glowing and she fell to her knees, she went back to the normal her, but she seemed to wear a scared expression her face for some reason. What had she done.

Phisoxa:" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to beat you up that badly."
She said, cringing at the look of blood all over him.

 

Mixt felt weak as he started to loose blood but he had one last thing to do before he could rest. Mixt dipped his finger tips into his own blood and began to draw in the sand with it. Once he finished his transmutation circle he activated it and a stone began to rise up arround them like a flower blooming in reverse until it closed into a sphere. Mixt had left the side on the opposite side of the sand storm open however so that they could still breath and have light.

Mixt then walked weakly over to Phisoxa. "With all that magic of yours you must have a healing spell. I know we're not exactly friends, but would you mind?"

 

Phisoxa:" Yes I do have some strength left for a healing spell... here we go."
She said raising her hand weakly and a green light grewfrom it, and touched Mixt, covering him with the same green light.

 

Mixt took a deep breath and then sat down against the wall. "Thank you. Alchemy requires a lot of focus. And alchemy on a living thing takes a lot more. I was in no condition to be trying to reconstruct my own body. There is nothing like feeling youself being broken down and rebuilt to break concentration"

 

Phisoxa:" Alchemy? You mean you are like a Alchemist."
She said laying up against the wall of rocks, toying withe the buckle of her belt, turning it over in her hands

OOC: Sorry, I missed the start - I've had a very busy week. Can someone please give me a recap?

 

The distant sounds of an ongoing battle drifted whole-hearted from the centermost area of the camp. Realizing that to bring the girl any closer to the action would be an act of sheer stupidity, Zei Je had slipped out to the camp’s edge. Many of the tents he came by along the way had been sacked, torn, and some, burned away by fires. But even amongst these casualties, there still remained suitable resting zones. The stuck out like black against yellow, and Zei spotted one that, while still scarred and beaten, maintained itself as suitable for residence. Without a second thought on the matter, he moved into this tent that of mere soldiers, and rest the child on the ground mat.

It wasn’t too long after the two had entered that the child finally came back into the sway of things. She still seemed a bit weak, and flustered a bit about what was happening. She probably doesn’t remember a thing that she did, Zei concluded. “You’re in the camp,” he informed her, “and if I must say so, quite fortunate to still be amongst the living. You were out pretty bad when I found you. And speaking of you,” between the gap at his eyes provided by the shawls, his eyes narrowed into what could have been described as a badgering expression. “What is that brings one so young as yourself into this war? Most I’ve seen have almost a decade on you.”


It would appear I’ve not given this child the credit that she deserves so much. Xiao found herself impressed for the first time all night when the girl’s resilience exposed itself through her survival. So she domineers control over the her spirit that she is able to resist the effects of unraveling. And at that, she can sever her ties with with each partition to use as a shield. But the question remains, how many more of these sorts of assaults can she resist before crumbling? Doubling back from her spot, Xiao made a violent, sweeping strike with Judgment, a bid for sucking out the spirits instead. To her further ‘pleasure’, her attack had it nothing more than the gaseous mist form of her target, which now gripped her to her spot, in conjunct with forging a mock replica of the original body.

“Well, to any extent, I’ve not given you as much praise as you deserve hun. But the truth stands, that I’ve still got tricks to play. Let this be a lesson to both of us, never to underestimate each other again.” From some off dimension, not unlike darkness and nothingness, though still bearing its incredible difference, a horde of spirits manifested through space and time, allowed access by combination of Eclipse’s spatial bending, and Xiao’s own affinity. In themselves, they were damned, rather than blessed, embodying a similar destructive nature, if she so willed them to use it. Yet whether physical, or spiritual, either one could work, depending on the preferences of the spirits themselves.

Three in all had manifested. One forced its way into the wasted body of the light knight whose soul was drained previously. Being that he had no soul in his body, the spirit would serve as possessor, much the same as Xiao’s foe. But the overlaying difference would be found in that the spirit’s nature would cause it to dissolve, amongst itself, whatever outside influence vied for control over the body. Te two free spirits crowded the replica, more or less, stalling for time as their comrade took root in its host. Spawning a second time from Judgment, the negative spirit pulsed out; not as a projectile, but as an aura-like point, from which it ebbed forth in controlled portions within the space enshrouded by the red mist.

((EDIT: Since may not be directly evident, the output from Judgment is being used in a smaller amount, and not quite as concentrated as it had been before, such that the -spirit effect would be more or less as a repellent.

 

OOC: Seems my post didn't go through earlier.

IC: "I'm not 'like' an alchemist. I am one" Mixt said as he closed his eyes and relaxed into a state of meditation "I don't posses any actual magic. Outside of my dark powers everything supernatural you've seen me do has been alchemy. It's funny hearing myself call it supernatural though, as it is heavily based in science" Mixt was feeling rather tired. Between having let himself bleed out for long than he would of liked and the large-scale alchemy stunt he just made, even though his body was healed it would be a few minutes before his energy built back up to fighting conditions.

Phisoxa:" Ah I see, its just I have only heard of these alchemists, I never met one before though, just a surprise to me is all."
She sat standing up and stretching her arms and she looked around to see what was up. The desert was still empty and it seemed nobody came to investigate the source of all this commotion. Suddenly there was a crack in the side of one of the formations of rock Mixt had produced with his alchemy and something came crashing through it. It was a keyblade, a sliver,blue, and gold one. There were voices of two men that came from behind it.
????:" So this is where she is, getting herself into trouble all time isn't she always."

Said a rather tall and strong man with shoulder length jet black hair and hazel colored eyes, wearing a imperial armored suit, one that was similar in quality to Phisoxa, he was carrying a larger keyblade that rested on his shoulder and he stepped in to observe the scene within, he stood about 6'5 or so, he was followed by a smaller, more slimmer man who looked to be around middle-aged, he had blonde hair, wore glasses and wore a long brown leather coat.

 

Mixt did not stir in the slightest, as if all this was an everyday occurance to him. He simply remained in his meditative stance and waited.

 

Phisoxa:" Hay why are you guys here? Did something come up?"
????:" No nothing really, we just saw this huge commotion going on over here is all and it caused a concern is all."
Said the man with blonde hair. He adjusted his glasses as he spun around to observe Mixt who was regaining his strength, he recognized what Mixt was but still remained calm and collected.
????:" Interesting."

 

"huh hey the sphere is open" Drake said poking his head in due to the fact that they left him outside in the storm

 

Mixt found it surprising that they weren't attacking him when he was the one that instigated the attack to begin with but he wasn't about to bring that up while he was recovering. Instead he remained silent and unmoving.

 

????:" Don't worry there, we won't kill you, you are too valuable to kill now, you would understand that, you look like a intelligent man anyways."
The blond haired man said adjusting his glasses again and turning to Phisoxa.
Phisoxa:" I thought you weren't going to participate in events on the battle field huh Rould?"

The blonde man smiled and paced around, observing the scene and then responded back.
Rould:" Once I heard my daughter was forced to join up, I couldn't sit back there and allow her to be alone with a bunch of hooligans on the battlefield, who knows what they could do to her."

 

Feeling that he had reached a point where he could do battle if he needed to Mixt opened his eyes and stood up. "So do you have any idea what just happened? I don't really like being a part of a three way battle. Especially when one of the sides is unkown to me."

 

Drake smiled as he walked in "I'm glad to see you again Rould" Drake said as he walked up to them dusting off all the sand on himself due to the sand storm

 

Rould stroked his chin and turned his attention back to Mixt.
Rould:" Possibly, there is a war going on that is above our concern that harbors beings other then ourselves. Possibly for different reasons, we want of course domination other each other, since that is typical of human nature, but they want something even more grand."
He said walking over to stand by the taller knight.
????:" Shouldn't we go back to camp ?"
Rould:" Joshua, we will take him along with us as well as 1st Captain.

Rould:" Ah, General Drake, its been a while, I haven't seen you since nearly everyone dispatched out for the war."

 

"You can't mean me. Making an enemy general into first captain. You get hit with anything heavy recently?"

 

Drake smiled as he ruffled his own silver hair to get sand out. "heheh it really has been a while. I totally understand why you came. No father would not worry their child's safety." Drake said.
