The Keyblade War: Rewind and press Play

Mixt did not return her gaze, instead he looked up at the ceiling. It was almost like he could see through it into the open sky beyond. "I wouldn't say nothing; but yes, most of it is superficial"

 

Phisoxa:" So what do you plan to do after the war is over? Chase after the chances of find the Philosopher's Stone some more? I doubt there would be anymore great battles after this one. Once the council are knocked out of power, not much more is going to threaten us, I guess?"
She said leaning her head back onto the wall behind her.

 

Mixt: The war will never end, Phisoxa. Human nature won't allow it. Darkness and Light are in a constant struggle for power in the hearts of men. Peace is artificial, both sides want to exist in solitude but neither can exist without the other. The final result is an eternal war. I may have to wait for the illusion of peace to subside, but the battles will never completely stop.

 

Phisoxa:" So you mean my death was all for nothing? I'm dying for this illusion? Well at least my children will survive, because if I was left alive, they would surely die. So what do you plan to do when you gain the stone? You never really told me that or is that information too confidential? If its ruling the world, that trick is so old."
She said with a playful smirk.

 

Mixt shook his head slowly "Not ruling the world. Ruling my destiny..."

 

Phisoxa:" And what is your destiny Mixt, do you even know what it is? Mine's perfectly clear, but how about yours?"
She said watching him .

 

Raz grinned having a really fun time fighting Victor. A crimson aura was surrounding Raz as he fought with both his claws and his keyblade. As time went by Raz's strikes became more stronger

Drake fought off as much Knights as he could and looked up at the cave "whats going on over there" Drake said sensing something was going on

Seth continued to hold on tightly to his mother. He was shivering in fear as they fought. He also had his eyes shut tight as he tried to hold back tears

 

"My fate? Who knows. Any stone that it would of been written on crumbled to dust long ago" Mixt laughed slightly "You know it's kind of funny when you think about it. You were given power that you never wanted, and I am searching for power many never dream could exist. And it was these events that bring you to this journey's end that marked the beginning of mine. Equivalent Exchange never ceases to amaze me."

 

Phisoxa:" But who knows, something different might happen, you can never ever truly predict how well your fate will go, sometimes life is so uncertain that something completely unexpected happens."
She said with a smile.

 

Mixt: Believe me, I know. I aught not to be alive right now.

 

Eventus brandished his keyblade, then dropped into a battle stance, charging at his opponets, flames swirling around him to protect from attacks.

 

After a minute of silence Mixt spoke up again "So what are we still waiting on with this ritual of yours?"

 

Phisoxa:" I don't know who's going to perform it but Torxber unlocked a strange secret lair within the cave. Apparently that must be where this Dark Stone thingy is he was talking about. Currently hes in there."

 

Mixt: When we made this deal back at the clock tower it had been a lot simpler. If someone were to be on the verge of capturing or killing you I would stab you in the back. Being involved in a ritual wasn't exactly what I thought I was signed up for.

 

Phisoxa:" But the host of blade at the end of the ritual can only be slayed by a keyblade in the hands of somebody of your stature. Torxber probably has that amount of power but, I won't die a dignified death if it was him who dealt the blow. He is personally my enemy but yet I allow him to push me around. Anyways I'm being used in someone else's ritual just as much as you are. Think about it. You are being used in my ritual and I in yours, since I sort of consider what you are doing more a ritual. "

She leaned forward in her shackles and closed her eyes as she kept talking.
Phisoxa:" But also we are being used to complete someone else's desire. And the item hes trying to receive, I don't know if it could be used for good or not. This dark stone, I don't even know what it does yet . . ."

 

Mixt: By definition rituals involve magic, and I don't have any. But I do see what you mean. Only time will tell how any of this will resolve. How does it feel to be willingly leaving a story before it ends?

 

Phisoxa:" It doesn't feel wonderful at all, truly I do wish to stick around but I don't know. It seems the phrase ' no life is worth more then another's ' isn't meaningful in this universe. I don't know how many times I smacked Torxber for calling me a useless weakling but heh he still tries to go against my wishes. Maybe it is true, maybe I'm not a human at all."

 

Mixt: It is false because people degrade themselves. That is part of what draws me to the Philosopher's Stone. when lives become tangible it is imposable to make yourself less than you are.

 

Phisoxa:" So are you the one degrading Mixt? If yes, then why are you degrading? Is there something about your past you don't wish to share with anyone. Actually ever since I have been around you, you never spoke about your past while the others do. You act so serious all the time, but why do you? Is there something that causes you to be serious? Because nobody's soul can turn stiff and stern just from living a normal happy life. I know that for sure."

 

"I don't truly know what happened back then. My research says I should be dead. You see, there is a taboo among alchemists..." Mixt took a pause moment he tried to find the best way to present his point, "Water, 35 liters. Carbon, 20 kilograms. Ammonia, 4 liters. Lime, 1.5 kilograms. Phosphorous, 800 grams. Salt, 250 grams. Saltpeter, 100 grams. Sulfur, 80 grams. Fluorine, 7.5 grams. Iron, 5 grams. Silicon, 3 grams. And trace amounts of 15 other materials. Do you know what that makes?"
