The Keyblade War-Breath of the Future

The energy wave blast Raxtion stunning him for a moment, while Nny sped after Mixt, getting ready to slice him with his sword.

Mixt charged in at Raxtion hoping to break his collar. With his free hand Mixt charged another explosion of air. Mixt knew he wouldn’t have time to launch it correctly while going after Raxtion but he was hoping possessed Nny still had enough brain cells left to not attack. If he decided to anyway Mixt was prepared to take the hit in order to reach Raxtion before he came back around. An added bonus would be that the air pulse would be more charged than it was last time he used it.

 

Nny was prepared to take this hit, however it still stopped him long enough for Mixt to get to the collar.

Mixt successfully reached Raxtion's collar and cut it off. Raxtion was suddenly brought back to his old self "Wha... what's going on? Oh!" Raxtion looked to Mixt "Hey, Mixt, what's up?"

Nny came speeding at Mixt, staying on target, creating energy slices with his sword.

One of the slices almost hit Raxtion, but he dodged it. "What's wrong with Nny?"

 

Mixt dodged some of the slashes, though some still hit cutting him up. Mixt held onto the charge for a bit longer since he wanted Raxtion to be ready when he fired it, but he did stop collecting air into it. Too much more and they would run out of air to breathe in this limited space. “Mind control collar. Dr. Traken’s design. When I fire- rush through the wind- and break it off” Mixt replied in broken sentences as he had his attention split by the attacking Nny. Mixt then sent out the shot he had been charging at Nny, but due to how much it had been charged the back lash sent Mixt flying to the other side of the room and pushed Raxtion just as hard. Raxtion on the other hand was equipped to counter that force.

 

Raxtion and Nny were both sent flying. However, Raxtion was in full control and allowed himself to be sent flying. Using this powerful shot and his own speed. Raxtion quickly sped behind Nny, who was still stunned from the attack, and ripped off the collar.

Nny and Raxtion both collided into the wall. First Raxtion into the wall, then Nny into Raxtion. Raxtion pushed Nny off of him, and then got himself out of the wall. Both fell down on to the ground below.

Nny quickly got up and examined his surroundings "Wha... what am I doing here? Where's that old man!? When I get my hands on him...!"

"Nny!" shouted Raxtion, happy that Nny was back to his old self. "Your back to normal. You were used to fight Mixt by Dr. Traken using mind control."

"Speaking of which..." said Nny as he and Raxtion sped over to see how Mixt was.

"You okay, Mixt?" asked Raxtion, trying to help him up.

Nny examined his surroundings making sure Dr. Traken wasn't going to try to pull a fast one.

 

Mixt let Raxtion help him up but was still cautious. Pulling a double bluff was by no means past Dr. Traken. "I'm fine" Mixt said. Then speaking out into the room Mixt said "So am I done in here yet?"

 

"Uh, who are you speaking to?" asked Raxtion, begining to think Mixt got one too many hits to the head.

"Indeed you are." said Dr. Traken on the loud speaker "You may proceed, Mixt. However..."

Two laser beams came out of the walls and captured Raxtion and Nny in two energy containment fields, which restricted them from even moving.

"... They may not proceed." said Dr. Traken "The stakes have now been raised. Should you fail your next tests, they will die along with your child."

"WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU...!!!!!" yelled Nny with incredible rage and fury.

"Nny..." Raxtion struggled to say "Stay calm... conserve... your strength. Mixt will get us... out of here... Right, Mixt?"

 

Mixt normally would have made a sarcastic remark but the farth this went the more pissed off he was getting. Mixt held a fist in his hand and cracked his knuckles with enough force that a normal person might have broken a finger. "Losing is not an option here. I will free you" Mixt said and then he turned to go through the door to the next room.

 

"See... Nny, we'll be out of here in... no time..." Raxtion struggled to say once again. "So... just stay silent and... conserve your... strength."

"Easy for you... to say." said Nny who was about ready to kill someone, but was reduced to doing nothing besides being contained next to a person he disliked.

As Mixt went into the next room, the door closed behind him. This next test wouldn't be the most difficult... but would be the most challenging.

Mixt was brought to another large, auditorium like room. This one had different lighting but was pretty much the same.

 

Mixt took a look arround. Despite his anger caution was more important now than ever.

 

"So, Mixt, you still look the same as I remember you."

Robbie levatated down from above to the ground in front of Mixt. "Are you still as half-witted as I remember, too?"

 

"Robbie, working under someone? I can't believe it. You don't have mind control too do you?" Mixt asked, though the mind control seemed to leave them silent as Mixt noted in the other room so it seemed unlikely. The truth, Mixt still did not know.

 

"Ha, Mind control... good one. No mind could control me anyway." said Robbie, smiling. "I'm just here to settle things with you first, then it's Dr. Traken." Robbie stopped smiling and got serious "The fact is, I never liked you Mixt. The whole 'I'm changing sides' thing never did sit right with me. I didn't even like it when Rako changed sides. The fact is that you and I never saw eye to eye. I was trying to change things for the better, however you always had to get in my way with what you thought we should do... when destiny and my future already showed that your way was wrong! I'm going to end you while I have the chance, Mixt. You'll never cause any more pain or suffering again!!!"

 

"You should know the butterfly effect better than anyone, Robbie. The instant that you moved through time the future was forever changed. Except being only a clone you wouldn't understnd that. The curse of the time traveler forbids him from existing in this time. I sugest you drop your faulty logic with the charade and get down to why you are really here."

 

Phisoxa walked through the door, walking slowly through the hall that connected the next room. She slowly regained her strength as she walked and when she got to the middle of the hallway she had no need for walking with her keyblade, so she disummoned it. Phisoxa though still felt a bit of pain, but not from her ordeal, but from giving birth to a child on her own and without medication. She shook off the dizzyness as nothing and continued off to the next door and opened it.

 

Robbie smiled and laughed "Nothing could ever get by you, Mixt. That was the only thing I admired." Robbie decided to explain how he was here. "I have thousends of copies of myself, running around. However, this was the only copy designed to destroy you. Dr. Traken was merely a step on the ladder to get to you, and kill you myself, with limited people knowing, of course." Robbie then summoned his blade "I can not be sure the future is safe with you around. I must stop you once and for all. And if this is the only way to do it, then so be it." Robbie pointed his blade at Mixt and was very serious in tone and attitude "Prepare to die, Mixt."

Phisoxa found her self in yet another strange auditorium, just with different colored lighting.

"Are you ready for what you'll see next, Phisoxa?" asked Dr. Traken "He finally came to his senses and decided to join the one who was stronger. Now he and your son are in my possession." Dr. Traken laughed on the loud speaker. "Now, Mixt... Kill her..."

Mixt suddenly appeared infront of Phisoxa. But it wasn't really Mixt, but a clone created by Dr. Traken himself.

Mixt had a stone cold face on him. He seemed to hate the idea of killing Phisoxa... but it had to be done. Mixt began walking towards her, non-threateningly. "Phisoxa... I... Come here for a second. I want to tell you something privately."

 

Mixt pointed his keyblade at him as well. "I would say the same but you died two days ago so it wouldn't have the same meaning. I'm going to enjoy this" Mixt meant that entirely. For all the fights Mixt and Robbie had they both seemed to realize that it was better for them to be there than not, a noted flaw in this clone's personality. In the fights they always fought hard but never to the bitter end. Going against him no-holds-barred would be the ultimate test of their strength, who should truly be victorius.

 

Two other swords appeared at Robbie's sides. Robbie dashed at Mixt with his keyblade in hand, and swords behind him. Robbie made a downward slice at Mixt, while the swords cut near his legs.

 

Mixt flashstepped around the room rapidly shooting blizzard spells at Robbie.

 

Robbie merely phased through them, flying at Mixt with incredible speed.
