The Keyblade Academy

Sylis laughed sneaked invisable preparing to strike"Oh this will be fun". He was sneaking up on Rhixan and Darryl with his keyblade out smirking he prepared to strike them with it"They will watching them talk not escape me".

 

Ryoku walked into the room (after slipping away from Riku before he noticed he was there)

''hmmm...I scene...a foreign aura'' he whispered and shook off the thought

And then he said (making sure for once in his life that he wasn't ignored) he made his voice clearly audiable ''Excuse me...am I suppost to be here?...Im new and I dont know where.......''

Ryoku stopped in mid sentence and thought There is a foreign aura... he was suddenly in a state of panic breathing heavily he thought .....Somethings wrong

 

Darryl sensed something, it was a smell, a familiar smell, the smell of darkness. And it was drawing closer. Darryl turned around from Rhixan and Dark and summoned his Keyblade. "Who's there? Show yourself." He demanded.

 

Sylis laughed "Well you are smart I can tell you that boy heheheh" Sylis became visable and stood up looking at Darryl. "How did you find me here I thought I was stealthy explaine to me now before I kill you.

 

"Well that's easy. It's your scent, its the scent of darkness, even the light can't dismiss a scent like that. That's how I usually can tell where my enemies are, its quite useful," Darryl explained and then pointed his keyblade at Sylis. "Now the question is, why are you here? You're a fool to come to a place full of Keyblade wielders by yourself. Wasn't one of your better ideas, was it?"

 

Sylis yawned"I unlike the others have honour and I have come to fight a worthy opponent am I geting through that thick skull or am I not". Sylis summoned his keyblade and pointed it at Darryl" Do you think you can take me on".

 

"If you want to fight, don't bother. I'm not doing it here, somewhere else would be better, away from everyone else, unless you want someone to interrupt." Darryl said, he rather he didn't fight, but it looked this guy meant no good and he wouldn't leave without a fight either so Darryl had to do what he must.

 

Gabranth stood with his arms crossed "i was told, you had some exceptional students who were interested in learning the art of war" he said, scanning the students in his class, his eye sight hidden behind his helm

 

Riku smiled. "Ah, yes. You must be Gabranth." He walked into the room. "Follow me. I'll show you around the room and introduce you to the students once class begins." Riku stood at the front of the class, waiting for everyone to arrive.

 

Gabranth followed Riku, his heavy armor made a loud noise when he walked, he crossed his arms and stood waiting to receive his students to train

 

Phenox walked into the room and sat down just as the bell rang. He sat in his chair, eyes forward.

Riku looked around, shaking his head as he saw empty seats. He looked at the students. "Okay, everyone. This is Judge Gabranth." He gestured towards the armored man. "Be sure to give him a warm welcome. This will be his first year teaching at the acadeemy. But, you will treat him with the same amount of respect you would with me, Sora, or Kairi. I will have Mr. Gabranth introduce himself." Riku stepped back to give Gabranth some space.

 

Gabranth walked to the front of the room and turned towards the class,
"now i assume none of you know who I am, and as far as you need to know, i am simply a teacher, I am here to teach the art of warfare, not to baby you, now... before I continue, anyone who thinks that this class will be too challenging, please leave the room now..." he watched as a few students walked out, with scared looks on their faces. Gabranth felt disappointed, but at the same time relieved
"good, now that I have those of you who will not die on me... hopefully, I will introduce myself, I am Judge Gabranth, I will be referred to as Judge or Judge Gabranth, I will warn you now that in Ivalice, my home city, calling a judge by their informal name alone is punishable, so I expect you all to show the same respect.... now tell me... do any of you have any experience in war? or battle in general?" he asked

 

Phenox raised his hand. He had expierience in both. He shuddered at the mere memory of the war. Seiing his comrads die in front of him, rescuing people only for them to die later. It was horrible, but he kept his hand raised with a serious look on his face.

 

Gabranth was surprised "really... such a young student.... what is it that drives you to fight?" he asked, not believing the a boy his age had served in war

 

Phenox put his hand down. "Judge, most people would answer, 'glory'... But my motivation... is the future." He stood up. "I fought in what most people call, The Great Heartless War... my motivation then, was my home, my friends... but I realized how trivial those things are. My motivation, when I say it is the future, I mean the future of the worlds. In my opinion, if darkness is to rule us, we shall not survive very long. I am motivated that one day, I will have a hand in destroying the darkness... that is all." Phenox sat back down.

 

"first competent and respectable answer ive heard all day, i like you already" he said to Phenox. "anyone else?" he asked

 

Phenox nodded. "Thank you, Judge."

Riku was slightly shocked by Phenox's demeanor when he gave his reason. Why was Phenox acting so strange?

 

Gabranth assumed no one else had any other experience so he continued "moving on, well as you know, I am your teacher for war and tactics, you will learn to fight with honor as well as finesse" he said, and summoned his blades to his hands "when two of you are ready, we shall begin training immediately" he said

 

Phenox raised his hand once more. "Judge, I am ready when you are."

Riku scratched his head. Once again, this was unlike Phenox to be THIS eager to train. Riku could remember when he had to force Phenox to train.

 

Xignias walked through Radiant Garden, the town was as fresh as ever and quite full, probably due to it being the tourist season. Sylis had been foolish enough to enter the academy with there being so many people in it and personally Xignias thought he was asking for a death wish. The destruction of the Keyblade Academy would come soon. For now he held up his hands and summoned a few nobodies and heartless to attack the citizens.
