Cloud walked towards the front of the room towards Riku "dont you think thats a bit much for the first day?" he said

 

Riku sighed. "Fine... Fine... 100 push-ups. Surely you all can do that? Plus, i'll do them with you."

OOC: Oh, and Hexin is accepted.

 

OOC: Thanks. XD I'll just start as the freshy?

Poor Edoigneus's eyes widened. "100-push ups!? Are you serious!? I can barely do 40!!" he shouted out loud. His arms were already shaking at the thought of having to do 100 push ups. He looked at Riku, right eye slightly twitching. "No wonder the guy can do them, he's got freaking giant arms.." he murmured in a whisper.

 

Cloud walked past each student as they were doing pushups "you may think it is cruel, but you will be begging to do 100 pushups when I tell you to hold a blade up like this" he said as he drew his buster blade to his hand, "the only way to get stronger is to get hurt, pain blinds weakness" he said

 

Riku ignored the Freshy that was protesting. He started doing push-ups as well.

 

Edoigneus was at 40 when his arms were shaking like crazy. His face was turning pinkish red, and his breathing wasn't stable. "GGGrrrrrrrrrr....nnnngggghhh...come on.....!" he uttered, passing the 55 push ups. He attempted the 56thn push up when his muscles gave in. He fell on his chest, and just stared ahead. "NNnnnggh...ooooww..." he said, exhaustion consuming his body.

 

Cloud picked up the small teenager by the back of his shirt and a few inches off the ground, he looked him in the eyes "you arent finished yet, you dont stop until perfection is achieved" he said as he set the boy down again, he walked down the line of other freshman "keep working, anyone who stops again will have to hold my sword above their heads for 10 minutes" he said as a threat

 

Riku finished his push-ups. He saw Cloud and sighed.. "It's okay... at least he passed 40."

 

Edoigneus looked up at Riku in surprise. "Guess he's not a bad guy after all." he muttered as he heard Riku showing him mercy. Cloud on the other hand.... He got up; shaking his arms in the air. "Ooow...sssso what now?" he asked looking up at Riku.

 

Riku scratched his head. "Well... i'm afraid I can't let not completing your assignment go unpunished... 500 laps around the arena. That's your make-up assignment. Phenox will lead you to the arena."

Phenox stood up.

 

He gasped, almost fainting. "500...!? WHAT!?" he exclaimed, ready to start an argument. Reluctant, he followed Phenox to the arena. His arms were tired as it was, but now he had to run 500 laps. "I should've finished my push ups..." he whispered, pouting as he walked along.

 

Cloud smiled a little and walked to the track where the two students were running, he stood with his arms crossed watching them run

 

Phenox entered the arena. "Here." He approached Cloud. "Hey."

 

Taking off his jacket, he raised the sleeves of his long sleeved shirt and began to run. Inhaling and exhaling the air, he did 15 laps....and already he was about to fall. He started walking rather slowly. "I can't....do....so much..." he said, gasping for air.

 

"hello Phenox, come to break in the new kid? if your tired ill take him down myself" he said

 

Phenox laughed. "Sure. I AM rather tired from doing nothing all day." He joked. "Nah, you can take him if ya want."

 

Cloud drew his blade to his hand "ive been waiting for a fight all day" he said as he took his stance "come on new kid, you have a weapon?" he asked

 

Phenox sat on a bench to watch the fight. "This has GOT to be good." He chuckled.

 

"Phenox, it will be good, but i dont plan on killing him, we wont do us much good as a smear on the gym floor" he said, still his blade in stance waiting for the new kid

 

Phenox laughed. "Okay. Be sure not to get carried away." He smiled.
