A car bomb went off about 40 minutes ago on the other side of Belfast, and I heard it :lolface: Not only that, within 40 minutes of it happening this facebook group sprung up: I Survived The Great Northern Ireland Explosion of 12/04/2010
Another thing I quite like about Northern Ireland is that they end most sentences with an upward inflection, even if it's not a question. :lolface: Except there I wasn't being sarcastic. I think it's adorable. :3
A large carbomb went off outside an army barracks in a populated area, and you're laughing? O_O The lolface was because nothing like this happens that I'm involved in. I actually heard it this time xD My phone and facebook all light up after it.
I'm going to take the role of the concerned person, as it appears no one else has, which I expected there must have been already. :B|: I tried to google this recent event, but the thing that came up most was a recipe for a drink called a "Belfast car bomb". I felt like laughing and crying at the same time. Any news of injuries? ;~;
Apparently no-one was injured. It was timed to go off to coincide with the devolution of policing and justice powers from Westminster to Northern Ireland. Possible other explosions, but no confirmation. All the security forces are on high alert =/
Thats awful D: I just saw about this, it could have been so much worse so at least there is positive in that. Please be deliberate stupidity, please, please be deliberate stupidity.
I don't think so. Paramilitary groups have used carbombs as a method of execution before >_> Currently it stands as no fatalities and only a few injuries. Could be more though =/
Aww, you ruined my morning television now,and I wanted it to be a surprise. How are the IRA? Still hoping to keep themselves alive or have they given up? Sounds like either a message or a distraction. Both are bad.
