The Journies of a Warrior

Sin steered his clash of spells towards Ven to keep from hitting Jess and caught Ven quite off guard. Sin pulled up to Earth walls and smashed Ven in between them to make sure he was dead. Sin was breathing hard. Three spells mixed with a big one was tiring work for him. Kain was walking by when he saw the action and tried to stay out of it.

Kain pulled out his sword and, without thinking rushed in at Ven at the last possible moment, stabbing the orb surrounding him. Lightning was flying everywhere. Kain called out his sword's special attack and immediately a rain of Holy Light came for Ven.

Sin saw that Ven wasn't dead.

 

Maria fell to her knees, that spell took alot out of her. Then she got up and jumped over ven and ran to jess and locked arms with her.(breathelessly) "If you take her, you take me too!" Maria didnt notice this but her left earring fell out of her ear and landed on the sand and rolled to the ground.

 

ven turned to sand between the rocks, that wasn't him, he had already teleported away to keep from dying and left jess behind. "i am coming back for you," he said to jess as he left. the sand stopped falling down and jess tried to break the glass. she turned toward maria, can you do the lightning thing again? she asked still unable to be heard.

ooc: ven can't die cuz i am going to use him a lot later so ya...

 

OOC: (Kay, gotcha.)

Kain saw Ven disappear and kept up the Holy Rain until the barrier completely broke. Kain then collapsed. He had used to much energy in his spells today, and now he could hardly move.

 

jess was breathing hard as the sphere filled with carbondioxide that she was breathing out. jess's eyes closed as she fainted on the sand around her. she was breathing but barely.

 

OOC: wasnt going to kill him.
Maria understood her."Ok", she closed her eyes and concetrated and two big strikes of lightning struke the orb and it broke. Maria blacked out.

 

jess rolled out of the orb as it craked sand was covering her, sticking to her wet clothes. she was still unconcious.

 

Kain, who was still collapsed, tried to get up, but was too weak and fell back down, clearly unconscious. Sin ran over to his little brother and picked him up. Then he looked at Maria. "Tell Jess when she wakes up that I'm sorry." Then, Sin pulled out a pair of black wings and flew off towards Kain's house.

 

Maria was still out.

 

a few minutes later jess's eyes flickereed open, she was laying on the sand exhausted.she looked around and saw maria passed out next to her. "what is wrong with her?" she asked "is she dead?" she asked again her voice still low and worried.

ooc: i know she isn't dead but jess doesn't

 

Lynx watched the entire thing. He wasn't surprised a bit to see Ven. Lynx Also watched the fight. Kain had come in a bit late. And now he was completely out. Sin flew over to Kain's house and put him in his room on the bed. Kain was bloody and a bit bruised, as all spell users would be after using that great amount of spells that Kain had. Sin looked over at Kain, waved once, flicking a not onto Kain's chest, then left.

 

jess struggled to walk to the shore and get some water. she completed her task and went back to maria's side. the water she was holding glowed a pale blue as she touched the side of maria's head with it. this has to work, jess thought trying hard to heal her wounded friend,

 

Maria's opened her eyes.She sat up slowly and saw jess beside her."Sorry about that."

 

Kain woke up a few moments later and picked up the note. It rad:

~Kain:

Sorry I just got here, but I have to leave now. The possibility of any enemy catching us in the same area at once is too great, and it would kill me if I were to lose you. So, I am going to leave you in Lynx's protection and hope he does well on it. I am truly sorry for what happened today. It won't happen again.

Kain put the note in the trash. So that's where Sin was. Kain went back to sleep, too tired to move and too sleepy to do anything else. Besides, thought Kain before he went to sleep, I need to recharge my energy anyhow.

 

jess smiled warmly at maria, "thank god your ok, i thought you were dead," she said, trying to hide her own pain. she stood up shakily, i have to do teleport even if it uses the last of my energy there is no way i am going to make it to my house if i walk. she thought, trying to bend the water inside of the sphere was hard. you have to be able to feel the water when you command it. jess closed her eyes and teleported to her house, she was a little off and instead of landin on the bed she landed on the floor. she fainted before she could make it to her room.

 

"Hey, it takes ALOT to kill me, I was just unconsious. Are you okay though?"

 

Lynx watched Kain sleep. The kid was knocked completely out when Lynx had seen him. Lynx left the room and went to stand outside. Sin had left Kain in his care. Was that a good idea? Lynx knew he would protect Kain, sure, but he wasn't that good at protecting people.

 

"where is the girl?" a comanding voice asked ven. "i couldn't get her in time there were too many people around," he replied. "ven, i want that girl!" the same voice as before boomed. "i know my lord. i will get her for you, i swear," ven said. "but i have some good news, it seems there are other strong spellcasters there too..."

jess awoke a day later, her eyes opened slowly and she sat up from the floor. she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and stood up. she glanced down at her wet, mud covered, bloody clothes. she changed quickly and went outside. i can't practice today, she thought.

Kain woke up and felt completely recharged. Getting up out of bed, he changed out of his day before clothes and put on a white tee shirt, blue jeans, his red shoes, and a dog tag that read his name. Kain pulled on a pair of fingerless gloves, put a bandanna on around his head, then set off outside. After taking a piece of toast, that is. Kain didn't want to do anymore spell casting for the next three days, because after the episode yesterday he didn't feel like pushing his luck. Kain felt like heading to town for something, but thought better of it and just practiced his sword fighting skills. Kain found a suitable log to practice on. Three hours of sword fighting later, Kain got tired of sword fighting and decided to walk around. Sheathing his sword, Kain set off and walked towards the mountains in the distance.

 

"Huh?, where did she go?"Maria looked around for her friend. (thinking) She must have teleported, I'm still to weak at the moment to use magic so she walked to her house. She stumbled into her house and took a long, hot , bathe.
