"Oh, dad's fine, he's just asleep." Kain said, unworried.

 

"well at least we have some good news," jess turned pale and doubled over coughing up more blood.

 

"Yea.I can fight, my side just hurts a little. Itll get better in a day or two."she looks at Jess,"Youre the one that needs to be healed"she told her in worry. Then she held out her hand over Jess,"Cure!"

 

"i told you i'm fine!" jess said for the third time denying the fact she was still coughing up blood, "your wound can be healed easily where as mine... you'll just be wasting energy,"

 

Kain snorted. "You guys think you're FINE, but just wait until you start fighting. You'll be dead in two seconds."

 

"Mine's already healed, now let me cure you!" she tried again to cure her stubborn friend.

 

"Neither of you are fit to fight," A drowsy voice said. Jaden was awake. "You'll both be throwing yourself to an impossible fight with no strength and horrible weapons." Jaden sat up, holding his head.

 

jess glared at kain. she stood up and pulled some water from the ground, "i am not dead," she said calmly as she twisted it around her body. why do i suddenly have this weird power?

 

"You expect me to be a specialized fighter with a huge sword?"

 

jess let the water sink back into the ground. as it faded away her arm gave a sharp jolt. without realizing her right hand shot to her left shouler. she pulled her hand away and a black seal laid there etched in her skin.

 

Jaden laughed. "That's why. No, I don't expect GREAT THINGS from you, but even if you were strong enough to fight, that seal would effect your powers. You would lose."

 

"Hey! I dont have that seal on my arm!"

 

jess inhaled deeply as the seal slowly began to form the words 'i am watching you'. her eyes grew wide and she took water from the ground and attempted to heal it. instead of healing new words formed 'my name is yoshiro'...

"No, it only takes one seal for the effects to go out. Sin has the other seal." Jaden looked over at Sin, who's left arm was glowing a blackish color. Sin didn't seem to care.

 

"Screw this! im just giong to let myself get killed on purpose so yall would stop complaining!" walks off angrily.

 

Lynx stepped in front of Maria out of nowhere. "Going somewhere? They won't kill you, they'll suck the power out of you then rip out your soul and crush it, then dispose of your dead lifeless corpse." Lynx smiled evilly at that comment, and then added, "I know because my brother Desera had it happen to him."

 

"Well, thats the guy that stabbed me and i dont care!" and continues to walk off.

 

Sin called to Maria, "Didn't Dad already say that even if you get killed, Zragos will revive you then kill you again in an endless cycle of life and death he created out of his own will?" Looking down, he added "Apparently not."

 

(groans)"Why dont someone just walk up to him and shoot him in the head!"

 

"Bullets? Don't make me laugh. I used to be one of them, I know for a fact that even if you managed to kill Zragos, you most likely only killed a clone of him. I don't know where the real one is, but I know he's much more powerful. In truth, he could end the world right now if he wanted, but he instead wants to destroy the solar system and create his own massive planet, absorb the power of the sun, and create his own realm of evil to eventually destroy the universe." Sin smirked at the idea.
