The Infected

Xara looked up at Xiomara and then to Kairi and smiled. "I think I can walk on my own." Xara steadily stood up, getting her bearings again. Boy, that was way too close... She then looked at the others and gave them a thumbs up sign to show she was okay.

"Um..." FH was debating on that question. Did she really want to go back in the backpack? The boy's hair looked so interesting though... FH smiled with her eyes and tilted her head cutely. "Can I ride on your head?"

 

Rita woke up grogglily and looked over too the others. "Oww" she cried, rubbing the back of her head,"What...just happened?"

 

"You died." Xioimara answered as Rita awoke. The others had become quiet. She decided to start off towards town. Her clothes were starting to annoy her and she wanted to replace them as soon as possible. The others could follow if they wanted. She honestly didn't care and did have a big habit of leaving people behind if they couldn't keep up.

Sora smiled, and bent down, letting the Freindly Heartless ride on his head.

Kairi looked at Rita, "how did you die?" she asked, bewildered by Xiomera's comment.

 

OOC: I know, it's been a while. I couldn't think of what to put...until now.

Toki awoke from his nap. He yawned, stretched out his muscles, and sat up. "My wounds...they're gone." He said to himself. He peered out the window. "I hope everyone's all right." Then he thought of Rita. "Please be safe." He said with a sigh. As far as he knew, there was only Rita, Xioimara, and Sinder. He felt so worthless. He had been in the hospital twice in the past week or so. "Am....am I really this weak?" Toki asked himself. "I haven't done anything to help. I've just been dead weight to the team." He moaned. "I hope they will come and visit soon. I have to apologize for being a burden." He paused. 'Wait, why am I talking to myself?' He thought. He took a sip of his water and layed down on his bed, turning on the TV.​

 

Xioimara looked at Sora with a smirk on her face. She shrugged, "I dunno." The comment was merrily a part of her sarcasm sense. Xioimara made her way down the waterfall and headed back to Twilight Town. She had a pretty good idea of how to get new clothes without any money. To avoid any attention, she shifted to her wolf form when she entered Twilight Town.

 

OOC: So sorry for the wait. Our internet got limited this week, because it works weirdly like that out here in the middle of no where. ><

Xara followed right behind Xiomara, excited to go back to civilization, and for shopping. It has been a while since Xara last visit the shops, and the munny she had with her was starting to burn a hole in my pocket. 'Maybe I should buy more potions... Oh! And some accessories too! That would be nice...' Xara chuckled at Xiomara's sarcasm. It almost sounded exactly like her. Well, when she was annoyed with people.

"Yeah!" FH was excited to ride on Sora's head. His hair was so fluffy and was spiked in different angels, so it made it all the more interesting. FH pushed down Sora's hair and then looked ahead, seeing that Xara was heading off. "Hey! They're getting ahead of us!"

 

OOC: Sorry my RPing buddies but I was wondering if (after you guys finish going shopping) you guys could stop by the hospital to see Toki because I'm getting really bored <_<...thanks you guys!​

 

OOC: I think I might quit this RP, I haven't made up my mind yet, but I've been doing other things, and this is an RP that I've had trouble keeping up with before.

The large wolf managed to enter the store without being spotted. She glanced around, the place was empty and the cashier looked really out of it. Xioimara slunk away in the shadows, quietly looking for something that would fit her. She couldn't be picky now. 'Perfect?' She grabbed a pair of leggings, and a shirt. While she was at it the wolf grabbed a pair of boots and quietly stole the clothes from the shopkeeper.

Xioimara hid in an alleyway as she got changed. Oh, she loved nothing more than new clothes. Xioimara wore black leggings with teal boots that went past her knees. For a shirt she had on a black dress-like shirt. The sleeves went down to her elbows. She hoped Xara had seen her leave. Xioimara half-wondered where the others were. Xioimara figured it would be a good idea to go visit Toki in the hospital, once Xara caught up, after all they were nearby.

 

Toki sat up in bed. He grinned. He had a gut feeling they were coming. Then Sally (his nurse) walked in.
"Hey Toki." She said with a smile. "How're you feeling?"
"Much better, thanks." Toki said.
Sally smiled. "Here's your dinner." She said. "It's Chicken Fingers." She placed the meal on the table next to Toki.
"Thanks." Toki said. "Bye Sally. Stay well."
Sally waved. "Bye Toki." She said. "Remember, I don't want to see you here again." She winked and left the room.
Toki started to eat. 'I know they're coming.' He thought.​

 

Xioimara left the others. It only took her a few minutes to remember she was a loner. She was evil. What was she thinking by helping wanna-be heroes? She entered the hospital and headed to the service desk.
"Uh I'm looking for somebody..." Xioimara couldn't quite recall the person's name. "Toki?"

"Last name?"

"Uh, he got attacked by a bear," Xioimara informed. She eyed the name tag on the nurse. "Sally."

"Ah, right this way."

Xioimara followed the nurse. Thoughts drifting towards planting a bomb or simply starting a massacre in this sad place. It made her smile.

"This room here." The nurse waved a hand towards Toki.

"Thanks." Xioimara walked past the nurse, knocked on the doorway of Toki's room and leaned against the wall. She didn't have anything to say to Toki. She found the male weak but brave. "How are you?" Her reddish brown eyes flickering in the cheap yellow lighting that hospitals always had.

 

Toki waved at Sally, then saw Xioimara walk in. "I'm fine." He said. "Just a little sore." He looked around the room, then at Xioimara again. "Thanks for visiting me." Toki said. "I should be out of the hospital by today, I think. Where are the others?" He then quickly scanned her new outfit. "Nice outfit." He said. He was glad somebody came to see him.​

 

"The others will catch up soon. They were taking too long to get ready so I left without them." Xioimara shrugged. She smiled at his compliment. "Thanks. Got a five finger discount." She said and looked around. "Man, they could really renovate this place..." Xioimara muttered. "How did you guys not hear that bear coming?" She asked.

 

OOC: @Kairi- Don't quit! FH just found a new buddy. T_T

Xara followed after Xioimara, keeping her distance though. She didn't know if the wolf girl wanted Xara to follow or not... but Xara didn't want to ditch the girl just yet. Xara just met her after all. She saw Xioimara disappear through a doorway and then stopped walking before she even passed the door that Xioimara went through. Xara didn't want to be a bother, so she just leaned against the wall by the door and folded her arms, waiting for the wolf girl to come out.

 

"Because I don't have the hearing of a wolf." Toki said with a chuckle. "So...how have you been?" He stretched his arms and continued to eat his Chicken Fingers, looking at Xioimara.​

Xioimara raised her eyebrows, "Maybe it's time for you two to adopt a dog then." She joked. "This town is full of fights..." She started. "Not that I don't enjoy a good fight, but it's non-stop." Xioimara ranted.

 

Xara pulled out a tennis ball from her pocket and looked at it. She then started to pick at the random fluff balls that were on it, and flicked it to the side. She heard bits and pieces of the conversation, but not much. She didn't feel like ease-dropping anyways.

Toki shook his head. "I understand." He said. Then, Sally walked in.
"Hey Toki." She said. She waved to Xioimara. "The docs say that you're healthy enough to leave. Also, you have a guest outside." Sally pointed to Xara, then left.
"Okay, thanks." Toki said. He finished his dinner and got out of his bed. He stretched his muscles. He smiled. "So I have another guest, eh?" He looked to see Xara. "Xioimara, do you know her?" He asked, walking out the door. He passed Xara and waved to her. "I'm Toki, by the way." He said to her.​
