The Infected

Sinder shot out with lightning speed and rammed her horns flat into the girls abdomen. She grabbed the girl's katana in her teeth and snapped it in two.

 

Xioimara nudged Xara with her snout. "We should probably get out of the way." Xioimara said. The others had the enemy handled or so it seemed. Xioimara's form shifted. Xioimara picked up Xara. She was close to going unconscious and probably wouldn't be able to walk for long. Xioimara looked at Sinder and then the enemy. Rita seemed out as well.

Xioimara quickly jumped away from the area. One of the reasons she loved being part wolf, it gave her great agility. Xioimara didn't know where to go. She could only think of going to the top of the waterfall. They would have a hard time following her there.

 

Sora and Kairi backed down, "do what you have to do, I understand," Sora said.

Kairi's keyblade disapeared, but she was ready to summon it again for a cure spell at a moment's notice.

 

The girl squeezed her eyes tightly when the horn rammed into her abdomin. The katana unsummoned, and all was left was the girl. Blood started to seep out of her wound and she knelt down heavily, clutching her side. The darkness started to disappear around her.

Xara screamed out as a searing pain peirced her abdomin. 'Oh man that hurts!' Xara clutched it, whimpering in pain as she was being moved. Everything was going out of focus, too fast. 'Stay awake, Xara... stay awake now...' Darkness started to flutter off of her, giving those who could see it a sign that she was starting to fade into darkness. Xara was starting to talk, but she couldn't hear her own voice. "She's... she's my... my Somebody... She's me..." Xara clentched her jaw tightly together, trying anything to ease the pain that kept stabbing at her body.

 

Sinder grabbed the girl by the hood and brought her to Xara. She knew that she needed them to fuse together so they wouldn't have to fight anymore.

 

Xioimara looked at Xara. "Stay awake for me." She said as she made her way up the side of the waterfall. Xioimara got to the top in a few minutes. She laid Xara down and splashed water on Xara's face to try and wake her up. Xioimara didn't really know what to do. She wasn't that experience with medicine, and she was afraid to leave Xara's side. "I'll get you help. Just hold on." Xioimara said to Xara.

That girl from before. Kairi, was it? She had that spell she used on Xioimara. Xioimara howled from the top of the waterfall. Sinder could bring them up top most likely. "She needs help!" Xioimara shouted. Her howls carried a longer distance but it was still worth a shot.

 

Sora grabbed FH, "they are going to need this too," he said, placing FH next to Xara.

Kairi summoned her keyblade, "I can do all the magic spells, just tell me what one to do," she said.

 

"Ok everyone jump on my back, we're going to that waterfall," Sinder said as she knelt down for them to jump on her back. "Kairi when we get up there you have to cure Xara and this one," she said, shaking the girl in her mouth a little.

 

Xara turned her head to the side, barely concious. She heard distant voices, but couldn't make them out. Then she felt a tingly sensation... like she was being called to her Somebody. Xara's eyes snapped open and she tried to sit straight up, but she fell back to the ground, wincing in pain. "No, not yet... Not yet... Bad idea... really bad idea..."

FH went over to Xara's side, really worried about her friend. "Xara... You're going to be okay, right?"

 

Xioimara listened to Xara. She thought she had a good understanding of what was happening. Xioimara barked. "She might die if we fuse them. Heal Xara." She said to Kairi. The wolf looked at FH and watched Xara.

 

Kairi nodded, and Raised her keyblade, "Curaga!" she shouted loudly, healing green light flowed over Xara, and everyone else who was wounded, almost completly healing them.

 

The darkness stopped coming off of her, giving the sign that she was out of the crisis stage. Xara's eyes fluttered opened, feeling much better. She was confused where she was at, because her surroundings were different. But at least she was safe... and alive. As Xara slowly sat up, her hood fell away from her head. She looked like the girl, but she had gray hair and silver eyes instead of purple and black hair and purple eyes. Xara looked towards the others that were standing around and smiled at them. "Thank you..."

FH was very happy when Xara sat up. She could see that her friend felt better. "Xara!" FH jumped on Xara's lap, wrapping her little arms the best she could around Xara's stomach, which was healed now. "You're okay!"

Xara looked down at the little heartless in her lap and stroked her head. "Right as rain, thanks to our new friends."

The girl's wound was healed, but she was knocked out cold.

 

"What do you want me to do with her?" Sinder asked Xara, shaking the girl that was in her mouth a little.

 

Xara looked up at Sinder, looking at her Somebody. She sighed out quietly, looking down a bit while debating on where to put her. "Put her... by the stream. She'll be okay." Xara knew that if she got near her Somebody right now, it would be suicide... Her Somebody wanted Xara to fuse with her, but Xara knew that it would be a very bad idea to do so.

 

"Let's get out of here." Xioimara voted. "Back to Twilight Town where there is safety in numbers." She said, "Plus I need new clothes..." She said while looking at the claw marks and blood stains in her shirt and jeans.

 

"Ok then," Sinder said as she flew down from the waterfall and laid the girl down by the stream.

 

Kairi looked at the girl, "so, how did yoursombody get infected without you getting infected?" she asked.

Sora bent down next to FH, "so, where did you learn to talk?" he asked.

 

Xara shrugged her shoulders at Kairi's question. "Dunno... I guess it didn't spead to me. I just woke up, finding myself exsisting in the worlds... So yeah. That's all I can really tell you."

FH looked up at Sora and grinned with her eyes. "Xara taught me how to talk! It took her a while, but now I can say what ever I want."

 

Xioimara looked at FH and Sora from the corner of her eye. He had the same hair as the boy from earlier the other day. "Can you walk?" Xioimara asked Xara. She wanted to get back to town before any other trouble could pop up.

 

Kairi offered her hand to Xara, "you want some help to walk?" she asked.

Sora nodded at FH, "well, do you want to ride in Xara's backpack again?" he asked.
