The Infected

Kairi grinned, then looked back towards town, "sure, but our freinds are still back in town, I think I should probably go tell them where we are first," she said.

Sora nodded, "yeah, one's my best friend, and the other is my nobody," he said.

 

"No..body?" she asked, confused

 

"Invite them too." Xiomara offered. "The more the merrier."

 

"what a nice relaxing place" Said Blade suddenly appearing above them laying down on a branch

 

A shadow suddenly fell over FH, making the little heartless suddenly nervous. She turned her head around slowly, and suddenly gasped.

Xara was instantly alert when she heard a high pitch scream not too far away from them. "FH?" Xara stood up, looking around quickly, realizing that the little heartless was missing. 'Great.' Xara looked over at the group that was forming. "Be right back." Xara started to run in the direction of the scream, hoping the FH was alert. "Dang it, FH, I told you to stay close!"

Xara broke through the trees and came to a stop. There was someone there in front of her. A girl... or that's what it looked like. Her back was turned to Xara. And she had FH in her right hand, holding her by the head. FH's frightened whimpers made Xara's blood boil. "Hey you! Put her down!"

The girl looked up after she heard Xara's voice. Then she slowly turned and looked straight at Xara.

Xara gasped and stumbled back a bit. It was like looking at herself in the mirror. "It's you..." Xara whispered in surprised.

The girl turned completely around to face Xara and flung FH to the side. Her eyes... were full of darkness. In one swift motion of her hand, a single blade katana appeared in the girls hand. She watched Xara with steady, dark eyes waiting for her to make her move.

Xara slowly got in a stance, keeping her eyes on the girl in front of her. "Well... if it's a fight you want..." Twin bladed katanas appeared in Xara's hand on her cue. "Then its a fight you're going to get..."

 

Sinder appeared behind Xara after she had heard FH's screams. Her giant head lumbered over Xara and she saw the other girl.

 

Rita looked away from Sora and over to Xara. She gasped and looked at Sinder.
"Should we help?"she asked her

 

Xioimara stood up once she heard to small scream. She followed after Sinder and Xara. Without any pain she was ready to fight again if she had to. Xioimara slowed down next to Xara and focused on the girl. Her green eyes threatening her. Xioimara's ears went back and her tail and hackles rose. A growl rose from her throat as she pulled her lips back to show her teeth.

 

The kingdom key appeared in Sora's hands, "of course!" he said.

Kairi's keyblade appeared, "we can't let that adorable heartless get hurt!" she exclaimed.

 

Rita ran after Xioimara, She took out her sash and and stood next to Sinder. The girls green eyes were creeping Rita out.

 

Xara felt everyone else gathering around her and felt a sense of dread swell up inside of her. Were they planning to fight the girl to the death? Or just until she was exhausted enough to stop? Xara had to make a choice here. She took in a quick breath, keeping her eyes on the girl. "Guys... I think I should fight her alone. If it gets out of hand, you can jump in. But... I have to start it on my own." How was she suppose to tell them she was basically fighting herself.

The girl was phased by the fact there were more people around. She just kept staring blankly at the others, watching them carefully. She showed no emotion... It was like she was being controlled.

 

Xioimara stopped growling and glanced at Xara. Her ears folded back and her tail dropped down as she relaxed. She backed away and sat a few yards away to watch.

 

Rita lowered her sash, sighing she took a few steps back.

 

Sinder stepped a few feet back and shrank down to about the size of Xioimara's wolf form. The dragon sat on her hind legs and watched the two girls.

 

'What am I thinking...?' Xara wasn't all too sure about this, but she figured it was now or never. 'I looked for you all this time... and I finally found you.' Xara raised up her katanas, staring at the girl. "Take care of FH... if anyone will." Xara then stepped away from the others, keeping her eyes on the girl.

As soon as Xara walked forward, the girl lunged, slashing her katana at Xara. Xara countered it and turned to get the girl right back, but when she slashed at her, the girl suddenly vanished. Xara's eyes widened in surprise. 'What?!'

The girl suddenly appeared behind Xara, swinging her katana down on the Nobody with all her might. And as the katana was swinging downward, fire appeared in the girl's hand and sent it towards Xara. Xara dodged rolled out of the way, getting back on her feet quickly. 'She's quick.'

[[And since I don't want to be stuck doing one on one fight with myself... lol, speeding the fight up a little]]

Xara spun around in a series of combos, trying to block the girl. Her twin katanas suddenly locked onto the girl's single one, but the girl didn't look effected by it. She just stood there in place, leaning in towards Xara. 'How the heck is she doing that?!'

A dark aura suddenly started to emit around the girl and she stepped in more towards Xara, trying to throw her off balance. Suddenly, the girl stepped back, making Xara loose her balance and fall forward. A fireball formed in the girl's hand and then she fired it towards Xara with incredible speed.

Xara didn't have time to block the attack. She was hit dead on. A cry of pain escaped her throat and she was hurled backwards and slammed into a tree. Xara's eyes closed tightly as she willed herself not to go into unconciousness. Her chest and her back her. 'Dang it...'

FH's little yellow eyes suddenly widened. Seeing Xara getting hurt was shocking to her. "XARA!"

The girl turned slowly toward the others, looking at them with her dark eyes. The darkness emitted off of her more, as though daring them to take her on.

 

Rita watched helplessly as Xara was utterly destroyed by the stranger.
"Why you little!!" She cursed. She sent A stream of water at the girl before foolishly Running up and attacking her.

 

Xioimara lunged into action. She pounced forward but instead of attacking the girl she went over to Xara. She was still alive and Xioimara was in debt to the girl. Xioimara's tail stiffened as did the rest of her body. Her ears went forward as she stood guard over Xara and glared at the stranger girl. If she dare laid a hand on Xara, Xioimara wouldn't hesitate to tear the stranger's throat out.

Xioimara kept her glowering eyes on the girl even as Rita went to attack. She didn't growl but simply watched with a stiff body to warn her off.

 

Sinder stood up and faced the girl. She snarled and her teeth showed. Venom dripped from her fangs and darkness started oozing from her also.

 

The girl simply moved out of the way of Rita's water attack, and then let Rita run right pass her. She then brought up her katana and used the handle to hit the back of Rita's head. The girl then turned and looked at the dragon, still blank and emtionaless as ever.

Xara winced in pain and clutched her stomach. 'Gah, it burns...' Xara didn't know whether to double over or lean back. Both sides hurt. Xara brought her head back as pain shot through her body and accidently hit the back of her head against the tree. "Ow..." Xara kept her head there, taking in short rapid breaths. "Don't destroy her..." Xara gasped out. "She's... she's me..."

 

Rita fell flat on her face after getting hit by the girls katana. She looked at Xara
"W-what she's you!?" She uttered before getting blacking out.
