The Infected

"Hey, don't cry." Toki said trying to comfort her. "I can't believe I almost lost you Rita." He coughed. He managed to wipe a tear from her face. "But the important thing is that we're together>"​

 

Rita smiled at him. "So how are you feeling?"

 

The words that Toki said hit Sinder like a brick. She started tearing up and she started walking away from Xioimara and blade. She needed time to herself, to cry alone.

 

"I'm good." Toki said. "Other than being in the hospital twice, almost dying, and having this sharp pain in my head, I guess I'm good."​

 

Rita smiled at him. She bent down and kissed him on the cheek, then she looked out the window. She could see the faint outlines of Sinder, Xioimara and Blade, She could see Sinder walking away. "Sinder..." She mumbled

 

Sinder turned into her dragon form and flew to the clocktower holding her chest where her heart was. She landed and raised her great head towards the sky. A painful and sorrow-filled roar left her throat and tears ran down her cheeks.

 

Rita heard Sinder's roar. She looked at her sadly. "Sinder..."

 

"What's the matter Rita?" Toki asked, a confused look on his face.​

 

"It's Sinder...She's really upset." She said without turning

 

"Oh..." He peered out the window. "Go. Go and see if she's okay. I'll be fine here."​

 

Rita looked at him. "Well if your sure..."

 

Sinder's cries turned into hatred. The wails of pain turned into roars and fires of rage. Her talons dug deep into the clocktower as she climbed down from it. She roamed the streets blowing her purple and black fire everywhere, killing anything in its path. Her tail hit buildings, smashing them. No one was safe from her fury.

 

He nodded. "Trust me, I'll be fine." Toki said. "Now, go. Hurry. She needs you." He smiled. "Good luck Rita." He kissed her with passion.​

 

Rita blushed as they broke the kiss and stroked Toki's cheek. instead of being normal, she jumped out the window and ran to where Sinder was, she didn't get far before she saw Sinder smashing things, she ran over to her.

 

Sinder's eyes were full of hate. The buildings she passed were on fire and destroyed. Venom dripped from her fangs.

 

Rita looked at Sinder, worried. "Sinder...please calm down" she got a little closer to her.

 

Sinder saw Rita and looked at her with eyes full of rage. "You did this to me," she said in a dark, ominous voice that didn't sound like her at all.

 

Rita took a step back. "I-im... sorry" she looked at Sinder, whos voice seemed awfully dark.

 

Darkness started pulsating out of Sinder's body. Her eyes glared red now instead of purple and her talons dug deep into the ground.

 

Riku, Roxas and Mark jumped into action, Roxas ran up the outside wall of the town, Riku and Mark ran through the hole in the wall, Riku then jumped on top of the tram ciciling the area, jumping off onto the top of a building. Mark summoned his other keyblade, Brisinger, and used it and Trial by Fire to scale the wall, standing on top of it next to Roxas, while Riku jumped up from the top of a lower building.
