Have you ever played a game and got to a hard part thats like, ridiculously hard and you just want to scream "I JUST HATE YOU!". Well on this thread we talk about all of those parts, oh and yes this thread may contain spoilers, so be warned. Shall we begin? I'll go first:

Sullivan fight-Dead rising 2: First off unlike Brock's battle in the first game where you are forced to fight bare handed, in this one you are not to be forced. But don't take this for granted, each time you try to hit this guy with one of your melee weapons he dodges it and grabs you and throws you. Oh, and yeah you have too fight him on a platform and each time you fall off, you have to jump right up again just to hit him. Also when you are on the ground, he shoots you, so if you're trying to eat food to get health back, your gonna have to find a hiding place. If THATS not bad lets try to add a jet on top that will shoot holes on the ground and if Sullivan throws you off the platform, you'll fall underground 1 floor and will have to climb up again, oh and good luck trying not to lose too much health from the zombies underground. You might be saying "oh well why not just bring a gun" well the reason is that you probably used those guns on the super zombies before the fight, so what are the chances that you are going to find another one? I wish they could have put a cut-scene where Sullivan takes your weapons and you are forced to fight barehanded, but no they didn't thanks Capcom. So yeah Sullivan sucks, but Dead Rising 2 still kicks ass though.

Xaldin- Kingdom Hearts 2: Xaldin is one of my favorite organization members, but theres just one problem with him. His fight, you all know why his fight sucks! Xaldin, you have an awesome character, but your fight, just sucks.

Pretty much everything after they escape from Cocoon. Everything became so hard, and I was like "Grrrr...random enemies killing me!!!`11!11212oneRAWR"

And then Dahaka killed me when I was one blow away from killing it, after my 10th try. I ragequit.

    can I just say that I hate every single game at one point or another because I never know what the hell to do? In Kingdom Hearts, I swear I was running around for like two hours trying to figure out what to do next before I just looked it up on the internet. ;-;

KH 358/2 Days-When you're fighting the boss at Halloween Town (the one that eats all the heartless) I swear I gave up on the game for months before going back to it, only to kill it on my, uh, THIRD TRY! I was just like, '...seriously?' I didn't hate the game atm though. Oh, no. There's a better thing/person to hate.

    I have a couple.

I was stuck on Chaos on Dissidia Final Fantasy for like a week. I had to use Cloud and win cheaply. ._.
Terranort on Birth by Sleep. "aaarrrggghhh stop rushing1!!1111!11!"
Deidara on this game called "Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3". He killed me like 77 times and I could barely get his health down. FAKIN SPIDERS.

I was stuck on the same thing, but I haven't gone back to try it again in like a month. I suppose I should do that. Terranort was also a pain.

I thought both Terranort and Xaldin were easy. I'd also add Vanitas Remnant here but...I've beaten him with Terra and Ven so far with the use of a cheap trick so I won't. XD

The Mysterious Figure however...>> Well, I'm sure he's moderately difficult with Ven's cheap Dodge Roll but with Terra that guy's really freaking hard. I've even tried using the cheap Thunder Surge trick but I don't have the timing down to actually beat him yet. >>

As for any other bosses in other games, I can'r really recall anything too terribly difficult outside of the Megaman series.

    Oh god this. This.
I just hate Wonderland so much, Along with Monstro.

Anyways the one part in a game that literally had me tearing out my hair is Odin from FFXIII, I mean I would get his health low enough and I die. Then I found out I never pressed the Gestalt button fml.

Personally any game so far that I've encountered that comes off as being tough were merely tactical-strategy rpg's. - But I remember a couple of months back I was playing COD and I couldn't get passed a sniper mission for about almost a whole month :0

As far as the KH franchise goes with the earlier games that I've played..weren't really that hard to me even if on proud/critical; though in BBS the Mysterious Figure gave me a pretty tough time. :/

Digimon Digital Card Battle. A. Or Analogman as he's really known. It's not that he's difficult but it's if you don't get the cards you need you are pretty much screwed. Plus, when I first played against him as a kid it was late at night, pitch black and he suddenly appears with what was back then, scary noises to be hearing from your PS1. But while me and my friend are replaying it now, Analogman is just a bastard.

I encountered quite a few enemies and bosses like this is many games but they tend to be easily overcome once you figure out certain things depending on the game. Like those freaking, creepy squid head guards in Demon's Souls Tower of Latria. The level is the only one to actually scare me to a degree and then you have mini-Cthulhu running around it that can hit you from further than you fought. Sometimes it's not difficulty in the actual enemy, but the fear or panic they can pull on. I still keep my distance from Black Skeletons in a sword fight, all I know is that a big animated bunch of armoured bones charging at you with two swords and red glowing eyes isn't something man was meant to face on a daily basis.

Getting to any new area in Final Fantasy XII.
My problem with this game is just that it expects so much out of you. I like the battle system a lot actually, it's a welcomed change from the turn-based stuff in the previous Final Fantasy titles, but I'm not addicted to it to the point that I'm going to spend 75% of my time leveling my characters. Unfortunately, everytime you reach a new area you're expect to gain like 7 levels in order to survive a couple hits from the monsters in the area. All the time you dump into training your party takes away from the story, imo, and just makes me ragequit for months.

Pretty much every boss fight in Final Fantasy X, just because I suck at this game apparently. Haven't beaten it in the 5 years I've had it.

    Demyx in KH2.
Those stupid forms. ;_: If it was not for them he wouldn't be terribly difficult, but I always lose when it's like "defeat 10 forms in 10 seconds!"

In Knights of the Old Republic I/II, swoop racing.
I want the money & sidequests but god damn is it hard. :c Finally found an easy swoop racing mod though, lol.

Oh yeah, and some of the boss fights in KHII would not be so much of a problem, if they had put dodge roll in the game *grumbles*.

I actually found all of FFXIII pretty easy, maybe because I overleveled alot and did all the missions before I went onto the main story.

Resident evil 5 makes me so angry a lot of the time. I hate the 'over the shoulder' view personally, i think that throws me off and makes it harder for me to play it and get past most of the game.

I agree with both Demyx's and Xaldin's battles in KHII, Demyx because of those damn forms and Xaldin's was just plain tough. I might have scared a few dormmates while playing simply because I found myself yelling "Go die in a fire!" during Demyx's battle.

This will sound weird but sometimes Scribblenauts will frustrate me, especially if I'm in puzzle mode and have an absolute brain fart and can't think of the word I'm supposed to use to solve said puzzle.

The last Triforce piece in Legend of Zelda: Windwaker or whatever it was I was looking for.

When I was looking for the map of that ghost ship and you had to hookshot to a tree on that island?
Yeah, I did not notice that tree.
After a week of trying to figure out how to get on that island (including using that leaf thing to float there FROM ANOTHER ISLAND) I gave up for over three months. Then one day I was bored, turned it on, and used my hookshot on a whim.
    I never felt more stupid.

The bulk of most Armored Core games I own.

And yet I adore the series. I think I'm a masochist.

I didn't realize you were intended to knock him off with Stitch's help until I'd lost several times. Then I tried it. Missed.

    ಠ_ಠ

Eventually, my strategy became "Beat its ass faster than it can beat the ship's ass." Deep Space in general was That One Level in my Ventus run.
