The Hunger Games

Rio watched silently in discust from above, these kids were sick, they were actually getting entertainment out of torturing Envy. She knew she wasn't Envy's biggest fan but that was just cruel. If they were going to kill him, kill him but do it quickly and get it over with. No-one deserves that. Looking back at where Crash had been standing she realised he was gone and she couldn't blame him with sick twisted people like these. He must have slipped away during the action, he was probably well away by now and good for him. She was horrified as she watched silently.

 

"Its like a clock. Automated disaters happen around. Like around here, we should be...." Rhixan looked up at the sky. "At 5 'o clock on a clock."

 

"So on that basis i could make a mind map and memorise this whole arena" she smiled.

 

Rhixan nodded. "Yeah. Every hour, on the hour, a disaster happens in a certain area. We can get out of danger through that."

 

"What kind of disasters, beside a killing?" she asked

 

"Floods, Lighting strikes, Gas fogs, Fire..." Rhixan listed. "At least, my guess."

Envy crawled over to a tree and leant by it.

 

"Sounds interesting" she smiled. "Almost forgot" she looked at the gash on her leg, it was bleeding down her thigh. She undid the badndage covering the cut on her arm andretied it around the one on her leg. "I know it's not very hygenic, but it needs more attention than the one on my arm"

 

Envy looked up at her. "Dot and seedock leaves."

 

"Don't you mean Dock leaves?, and they're for nettles not huge slashes"she said.

 

"Dot and Seedock leaves. The dot brings out any infections and the seedock heals the wound." Envy said, grabbing some from a nearby bush.

 

"Preffer to suffer slowly than take something from someone who tried to kill me" she said.

 

"Pfft. What some? Fetch some. I need these more then you." Envy said, rubbing them against his wounds. Coughing again, he spat out blood.

 

"I hope you choke on them" she said.

 

"Not like i'm eating them." Envy muttered.
Rhixan smirked. "You're very lucky I didn't say 'Meh. Kill him'."

 

"Say anything else and i'll ram them down your throat, understand?" she sneered.

 

Saki put away his knife.

 

Rio smiled, this was interesting. She took note of all they said, maybe they could beat the gamemaster. She wondered if she should reveal herself, she didn't have to kill anyone. But she only worried that the game master will be watching this conversation, they will know she was there, and will try to stop them.

 

Envy ignored them all and continued to cure himself.

Hiromi put away her bow and arrows.

 

Wincing afew times, Envy sighed at the pain relief.

Rhixan giggled at him.
