OOC: In the woods? xD

 

Phenox yawned and walked out of the woods, Ren close behind.

 

OOC: Okay, now that I have some people gathered up...
BIC:

A echoing was heard around. "ATTENTION! THE REAPING DRAWINGS WILL START IN 30 MINTUES. WOULD ALL 12-18 YEAR OLDS REPORT TO THE DISRICT SQUARES!"

Rhixan sighed again and stood up. "Well, time to go." She took some bread and ate it, passing some to Alphonose.
Her mother hugged them both. "You'll both come back."
Alphonose nodded and walked out, followed by Rhixan.

 

Phenox looked up sleepily. "Well, that's us." He started running.

"Wait!" Ren ran after him.

Rhixan walked along the streets with other children. The younger ones looked scared whereas the older ones looked more prepared for this. Some others looked as if they had been training their whole lives for this. Those were the Career Contestants. They would enter just do make a name for themselves when other would enter to get food for their starving families.

 

Phenox and Ren ran past Rhixan. They eventually passed all the other children.

 

Rhixan got to the square. Kissing Alphonose's forehead, she stood with all the other 16 year old girls.
Alphonose stood with the 12 year old boys, scared of him or Rhixan being chosen.

 

I'll finally put an end to this with my determination, DON'T WORRY KIDS WE'LL GET THROUGH THIS AHAHAHAHA

 

Phenox stood with the 16 year old boys.

Ren stood with the 12 year old boys, slightly scared.

 

Saki heard the announcement, and ran towards the district square.

 

A large TV screen came down as a cheery woman appeared. "Welcome all children! Are you ready for this year's Hunger Games!?" She smiled at them all.
Rhixan glared at the woman. "Pick me, Neal or Alphonose and you're dead..."
The woman carried on. "Shall we do this from District 1 to 12? .... One to Twelve it is!"

 

Saki just glared a bit.

 

Phenox chuckled at how cheerful this woman was.

Ren was too scared to laugh.

The woman reached into a box. "Oh? It seems I pulled someone from Disrict 1! Come on up, REN!"

 

Saki stood, waiting to be called on.

 

Phenox froze. "Please tell me she didn't say 'Ren'...."

Ren could hardly breathe. His legs felt like jelly. He slowly walked to the woman.

 

The woman smiled at Ren. "Hello Ren. You're the first lucky contestant to fight in The Hunger Games! Lets draw another one..." She stuck her hand in the box again. ".... Discrict 12! ALPHONOSE!"
Alphonose's jaw dropped. Walking to the platform, he joined Ren.

Rhixan shook her head. "NO! WAIT! I TAKE HIS PLACE!" She jumped up to the platform. Running to Alphonse, she hugged him. "I take his place....."

 

Saki sighed. "Darn..."
