The Hunger Games

Saki glared heavily at Effie and crossed his arms, laying back.

 

Rhixan looked at Effie then at Saki. She gave him a look saying - 'Lets kill her first'

 

Saki nodded.

 

Rhixan smirked.
Effie rolled her eyes. "The Arena is 50 miles from the Capitol."

 

Saki groaned. "That far? It's gonna take longer than it did from the districts to the Capitol!"

 

Rio stared at the cheering crowd despising every one of them, celebrating sending kids off to die. It's wrong, so wrong but what could she do against the Capitol with endless resources at their hands.

 

Effie smiled slightly. "Only one of you really is making that trip back. You don't have to worry so much."
Rhixan frowned. "I'm planning on making that one person me! I promised my little brother i'd come back to him."

 

Saki glared at Effie. "Don't remind us, Captain Obvious."

 

Effie frowned. "Sorry Mr Smart arse but its my job." She said sarcasticly.

 

Saki sat back. What an ass...

 

Rhixan glared at Effie and sat back, watching the crowd go by. Some of them had the most weirdest apperances, one even had cat whiskers!

 

Saki hissed at the crowd.

 

The carriages were pulled away into a different part of the city. No crowds were around. Rhixan sighed with relief.

 

Saki had fallen asleep.

 

Rhixan looked around as the carriages came to a stop. She kicked Saki's leg and climbed out.

 

Saki suddenly woke up. He got out.

 

Effie pointed up at the building above them. "And thats where you all are staying. Each disrict gets a different floor. So Rhixan and Neal will be staying on the 12th floor."

 

Saki groaned again. He went inside the building.

 

Rhixan followed inside and looked around. Finding an elevator, she stepped in and pressed 12. Holding onto the rail, Rhixan tried to keep calm. Last time she had been inside one of these was when she went to see her Dad down in the mines.

 

Saki was with her in the elevator. He waited.
