Neal walked up to Rhixan. "So... this is where we're gonna die?"

Rhixan looked around. "Probably..."
Effie stepped in front of them all. "Well, here it is! The Capitol!"

 

Saki looked at Effie. "Thank you Captain Obvious."

 

Effie frowned at Saki. "This is where you will be staying for the next week. Training, impressing the judges, all that will happen here before you go into the Arena!" She looked around. "Any questions?"

 

Impressing the judges my ass. He thought to himself.

 

Rhixan crossed her arms. "Yeah, I have one. What would happen if we just all teamed up inside the Arena and didn't kill eachother?"
Effie smiled. "Oh silly, if that ever happens, The Capitol has their ways."

 

Saki gave Effie a death glare.

 

Rhixan frowned. "What do you mean?"
Effie wagged her index finger at her. "Now Now. Do you honestly expect me to tell you?"

 

Saki sighed.

 

Effie pointed at some carriages. "Come on now, time to take you to your new home."
Rhixan scowled at her again and got into one.

 

Saki trudged into one and sighed. Yeah, I'm definitely getting out of here. He thought to himself.

 

The carriages immediatly set off through the Capitol. Rhixan sighed, looking out the window. The Capitol has its ways. I'm guessing turning us against eachother.

 

Saki looked out the window. This time, I'm not going down without a fight.

 

Rio looked around with wide eyes through the carrige window, the capitol was so bright and impressive. Nothing like home but she longed to be back there. To her the impressive Capitol just reminded her of her impending fate. She looked at Effie and thought 'Does she practice being this annoying or does it just come naturally'

 

Effie smiled, looking around. Maybe if one of these win and speak of her, she'll be promoted.
Rhixan sighed and rested her head back. I wonder how Alphonose is doing....

 

Saki looked around. He started thinking.

 

Crash looked out of the window, the capitol was impressive but he wasn't really looking, 'I wonder how long I'll last' he thought.

They came out of a tunnel and crowds lined the streets. They where cheering, happy to see the new contestants. Rhixan looked out the window at them all. "What the fuuck?!" But her voice was drowned out.

 

Saki snapped at them. "YOU LIKE WATCHING KIDS KILLING EACH OTHER?! YOU THINK THIS IS 'ENTERTAINMENT'? WILL HOW THE HELL WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOU HAD TO KILL YOUR OWN FRIENDS?!"

 

Effie laughed. "Their children don't go into the Arena. They're social class escapes that fate."
