The Howling

At first, Beatrice gave the girl a bewildered look once she saw her walk into the yellow light unaffected. Why didn't the security thing work? ...Darn it. She sighed and stood next to the girl beside the window. "Who's out there?" Beatrice moved the curtain slightly, and looked out to see a boy in pain in front of the door. "Oh, that guy?"

 

lol i must of worded that wrong, i didn't think that i walked into the yellow light... oh well xDD

"I don't think we should let him in", she thought out loud. "This may be the transition of human to infected, he'll either kill us now or later". She felt bad for saying that, but there didn't seem any other logical way to get through this problem.

bic: Alexis dragged himself across the road towards the door and rested his back against it. He thought for a moment and decided to give up on trying to get inside. Trying to break in would attract unwanted guests to his prey.
Darn this life that has been bestowed upon me Alexis thought sarcastically. He morphed into the form of a superior infected beast form and stalked off. Not before racing up to the door and barging into it with all his weight, with a gurgled cackle, he ran off. "I'm going to have fun with you two!" he yelled.

 

lol, well she is logical, and it seems you have found a way around.

Unfortunately, Alice couldn't hold back her scream. The shock of seeing him change and the loud bang on the door had frightened her.

bic: Alexis let out a sadistic cackle and made a huge lunge and landed on top of a building, where he changed back into his human form. "I'm going to have so much fun~" he chirped.

Neil watched Alexis act his way into the human ranks. He was disgust by it, having to pretend to be them. Due to the hatred he aqquired from the experiments on him he denounced his humanity and claimed himself something else. To watch someone like himself act like a human was a mockery to what they had become and all they had suffered. He began to count down the amount of time left in the day. A sign of his need to kill.

 

Cally blinked, the light almost blinding her, then she set off in down the once majestic street. It was now just a bunch of crumbling rocks, with trees and plants growing in the cracks. She looked up, then placed her hands on her hips, surveying the area around her. No immediate danger...not yet anyways.

Beatrice gasped after hearing the bang and the sadistic crackle she heard from the background. Looks like some infected was out to get them...This would be have to be the third time she experienced this, but she was by herself the other times. Her mind wondered what he meant by having "fun" with them...but she tried ignoring it and payed attention to the girl, realizing she didn't know her name. "Hey, who are you?"

Nox had his question answered by poundings on the door. Nox ran to the window. Their was no fire escape. He was traped the other part of the room was gone completly and Nox wouldn't survive a fall down their. A peice of the door came off. They were getting through. Nox looked at his gun. Could he do it? Exchange a painful death for a painless one. Nox stared at his gun. He began to shake with fear unable to do anything. He droped his gun and his hand began to ache. Nox droped to his knees and saw his skin turn grey and his nails turn black then nothing.

Alice had been calm for a few moments, it was only the bang that scared her. "My name is Alice", she responded after she heard the question, "Who are you?" ​

 

"I'm Beatrice, but you can call me Bee or something." Her attention went immediately back to the freak that was probably plotting a plan to get them. "Any ideas, Alice?"

 

Barreeeerrriiii~ the book is sad, and i'm not even finished... why does Mead have to write sad stories?

Thinking of a plan, Alice remembered the yellow glow from the other room, she ran through without thinking. "Do you think the yellow glow stops the infected?", she asked. ​

 

"It was supposed to harm the infected and regular people. But since you went right through it, the light might not even work." Beatrice crossed her arms and stared up at the ceiling as she tried to think.

 

Cally hesitantly walked down the street, shying away from every type of shadow. She didn't want to be caught now, she didn't need to be caught now. Where could she go? Stumbling, she knelt, fixing her shoe, then looking around again.

 

"Maybe there was something different when the yello thing was created", she started to think out loud. "It may still harm the infected as their D.N.A is different to ours". She also began to stare at the roof.​

"True that, but we still need to think of something else. What if the light doesn't end up working?" she asked.

bic: Alexis stalked down an abandoned street that now survivor dared to enter, as it was absolutely infested with super-infected people. As he prowled down the path many of them backed away as if they fear him. Of course they would anyway, considering that he was one of the 'mother-of-all' infected test subjects. Alexis found it funny how all the other test subjects had a beast-like original form while his was still just a human, like he was the only 'perfected' one out of all of them.
